What do you order us to do? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ avoided giving any answer. Salama asked him again. He again avoided giving any answer. Then he asked again-it was the second time or the third time-when Ashath Bin Qais finding that the Prophet was unnecessarily being pressed for answer pulled him Aasi de and said: Listen to them and obey them; for on them shall he their burden and on you shall be your burden. So he set out with her slave girl; and every time he entered a door; she locked it behind him; until he reached a beautiful woman who has with her a boy and a vessel of wine. She said: By Allah; I did not call you to bear witness; rather I called you to have intercourse with me; or to drink a cup of this wine; or to kill this boy. He said: Pour me a cup of this wine. So she poured him a cup. He said: Give me more. And soon he had intercourse with her and killed the boy. So avoid Khamr; for by Allah faith and addiction to Khamr cannot coexist but; one of them will soon expel the other. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25828		Yazid Bin Umairah; who was one of the companions of Muadh Bin Jabal said: Whenever he muadh Bin jabal sat in a meeting for preaching; he would say: Allah is a just arbiter; those who doubt would perish. One day Muadh Bin jabal said: In the times after you there would be trails in which riches would be abundant. During these trails the Quran would be easy so much so that every believer; hypocrite; man; woman; young; grown up; slave and free man will learn it. Then a man might say: What happened with the people that they do not follow me while I read the Quran? They are not going to follow me until I introduce a novelty for them other than it. So avoid that which is innovated in religion ; for whichever is innovated is an error. I warn you of the deviation of a scholar from right guidance; for sometimes Satan utters a word of error through the tongue of a scholar; and sometimes a hypocrites may speak a word of truth. I said to Muadh Bin jabal: I am at a loss to understand may Allah have mercy on you that a learned man sometimes may speak a word of error and a hypocrite may speak a word of truth. He replied: Yes; avoid the speech of a learned man on distract you from him the learned ; for it is possible that he may withdraw from these well-known things ; and you get the truth when you hear it; for truth has light.Abu Dawud said: In this tradition Mamar on the authority of AlZuhrl said: The words wa la yun iyannaka instead of wa la yuthniyannaka; with the same meaning: it may not distract you salih Bin Kaisan on the authority of AlZurhrl said in this tradition the words Almushtaharat well-know things. Ibn ishaq; on the authority of AlZuhri; said: Yes; if you are doubtful about the speech of a scholar until you say: WHAT did he mean by this word? He said; What is this; Umm Salama? She said; It is only aloes; Messenger of Allah. He said; Put it on at night and wipe it off in the daytime. Malik said; The mourning of a young girl who has not yet had a menstrual period takes the same form as the mourning of one who has had a period. She avoids what a mature woman avoids if her husband dies. Malik said; A slave-girl mourns her husband when he dies for two months and five nights like her idda. Malik said; An umm walad does not have to mourn when her master dies; and a slave-girl does not have to mourn when her master dies. Mourning is for those with husbands. There is a military expedition in which valuables are not spent; the contributor is not willing; the authorities are not obeyed; and corruption is not avoided. MuwataMalik-017-001-35463		Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Amra bint Abdulrahman that when Aisha was doing itikaf she would only ask after sick people if she was walking and not if she was standing still. Malik said; A person doing itikaf should not carry out obligations of his; nor leave the Masjid for them; nor should he help anyone. He should only leave the Masjid to relieve himself. If he were able to go out to do things for people; visiting the sick; praying over the dead and following funeral processions would be the things with the most claim on his coming out. Malik said; A person doing itikaf is not doing itikaf until he avoids what some one doing itikaf should avoid; namely; visiting the sick; praying over the dead; and entering houses; except to relieve himself.
