SahihMuslim-017-001-19520 | Abu Saeed Khudri reported that Muawiya went to a circle in the Masjid and said: What makes you sit here? They said: We are sitting here in order to remember Allah. He said: I adjure you by Allah to tell me whether you are sitting here for this very purpose ? They said: By Allah; we are sitting here for this very purpose. Thereupon; he said: I have not demanded you to take an oath; because of any allegation against you and none of my rank in the eye of Allah Messenger ﷺ is the narrator of so few ahadith as I am. The fact is that Allah Messenger ﷺ went out to the circle of his Companions and said: What makes you sit? They said: We are sitting here in order to remember Allah and to praise Him for He guided us to the path of Islam and He conferred favours upon us. Thereupon he adjured by Allah and asked if that only was the purpose of their sitting there. They said: By Allah; we are not sitting here but for this very purpose; whereupon he the Messenger said: I am not asking you to take an oath because of any allegation against you but for the fact that Gabriel came to me and he informed me that Allah; the Exalted and Glorious; was talking to the angels about your magnificence. | The Chapter on Facts And Praise To Allah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 11 in Sahih Muslim |

SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10150 | Narrated Abu Wail: from a man of Rabiah who said: I arrived in AlMadinah; entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned the emissary of Ad to him. I said: I seek refuge in Allah from being like the emissary of Ad. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: And what of the emissary of Ad? He said: I said: You have got the one who is informed about it. When Ad suffered from famine they sent Qail and he stayed with Bakr Bin Muawiyah. He gave him wine to drink and two slave girls to sing for him. Then he went out towards the mountains of Murrah and said: O Allah! I did not come to You to cure a sick person; nor to ransom a captive! So give water to Your slave as You used to do; and give water to Bakr Bin Muawiyah along with him. He said that out of gratitude for the wine which he gave him to drink. So two clouds appeared and it was said to him: Choose one of them. So he chose the black one. It was said to him: Take it as ashes that will leave none in Ad. So he mentioned that the wind sent upon them was not more than this circle - meaning the circle of a ring - then he recited:...We sent against them the barren wind; it spared nothing that it reached; but blew it into broken spreads of rotten ruins. 51:41 & 42 | The Chapter on Almaghazi And Ransoms in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Chapters on Tafsir in Sunan AlTermithi | |

SunanAlNasai-017-001-16991 | It was narrated that Wail Bin Hujr said: I said: I am going to watch the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and see how he prays. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and faced the Qiblah; then he raised his hands until they were in level with his ears; then he held his left hand with his right. When he wanted to bow; he raised them his hands likewise; then placed his hands on his knees. When he raised his head from bowing; he raised them his hands likewise. When he prostrated he put his hands in the same position in relation to his head; then he sat up and lay his left foot on the ground. He placed his left hand on his left thigh and his right elbow on his right thigh; and made a circle with two of his fingers. And I saw him doing like this- Bishr one of the narrators pointed with the forefinger of his right hand and made a circle with the thumb and middle finger. | The Chapter on Body Parts The Hands And Thumbs in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Placement of the elbows in Sunan AlNasai |

MuwataMalik-017-001-34532 | Yahya related to me from Malik from Ishaq Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abi Talha from Abu Murra; the mawla of Aqil Ibn Abi Talib from Abu Waqid AlLaythi that the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; was sitting in the Masjid with some people when three people came in. Two came toward the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; and one went away. When the two stopped at the assembly of the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; they gave the greeting. One of them saw a gap in the circle and sat in it. The other sat down behind the circle. The third turned away and left. When the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; finished; he said; Shall I tell you about three people? One of them sought shelter with Allah; so Allah gave him shelter. The other was shy; so Allah was shy to him. The other turned away; so Allah turned away from him. | The Chapter on Peace And Modesty in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Shortening the Prayer in Muwata Malik |
