Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward. | |

There is no god but He, -the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory). |

SahihMuslim-017-001-21743 | Usama Bin Zaid reported: While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; one of his daughters sent to him the Messenger to call him and inform him that her child or her son was dying. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ told the messenger to go back and tell her that what Allah had taken belonged to Him; and to him belonged what He granted; and He has an appointed time for everything. So you the messenger order her to show endurance and seek reward from Allah. The messenger came back and said: She adjures him to come to her. He got up to go accompanied by Saad Bin Ubada; Muadh Bin Jabal; and I also went along with them. The child was lifted to him and his soul was feeling as restless as if it was in an old waterskin. His Prophets eyes welled up with tears. Saad said: What is this; Messenger of Allah? SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-27763 | Narrated Uthman Ibn Affan: :Yazid AlFarisi said: I heard Ibn Abbas say: I asked Uthman Ibn Affan: What moved you to put the Surah AlBaraah which belongs to the miin surahs containing one hundred verses and the Surah AlAnfal which belongs to the mathani Surahs in the category of AlSabu AlTiwal the first long surah or chapters of the Quran ; and you did not write In the name of Allah; the Compassionate; the Merciful between them? Uthman replied: When the verses of the Quran were revealed to the Prophet ﷺ ; he called someone to write them down for him and said to him: Put this verse in the surah in which such and such has been mentioned; and when one or two verses were revealed; he used to say similarly regarding them. Surah AlAnfal is the first surah that was revealed at Medina; and Surah AlBaraah was revealed last in the Quran; and its contents were similar to those of AlAnfal. I; therefore; thought that it was a part of AlAnfal. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-28966 | Narrated Yahya Bin Said: Abd AlHamid Bin Abdullah Bin Abdullah Bin Umar Bin AlKhattab copied to me a document about the religious endowment waqf made by Umar Bin AlKhattab : In the name of Allah; the Compassionate; the Merciful. This is what Allah servant Umar has written about Thamgh. He narrated the tradition like the one transmitted by Nafi. He added: provided he is not storing up goods for himself. The surplus fruit will be devoted to the beggar and the deprived. He then went on with the tradition; saying: If the man in charge of Thamgh wishes to buy a slave for his work for its fruits by selling them ; he may do so. Muiqib penned it and Abdullah Bin AlArqam witnessed it : In the name of Allah; the Compassionate; the Merciful. This is what Allah servant Umar ; Commander of Faithful; directed; in case of some incident happens to him i.e. he dies ; that Thamg; Sirmah Bin AlAkwa; the servant who is there; the hundred shares in the land of Khaibr; the servant who is there and the hundred sahres which Muhammad ﷺ had donated to me in the valley nearly will remain in the custody of Hafsah during her life; then the men of opinion from her family will be in charge of these endowments ; that these will neither be sold not purchased; spending its produce where they think necessary on the beggar; deprived and relatives.
