Allah said to His Prophet: Say O Muhammad ! No wage do I ask of You for this Quran nor am I one of the pretenders a person who pretends things which do not exist. 38.86 Now I will tell you about AlDukhan the smoke ; Allah Messenger ﷺ invited the Quraish to embrace Islam; but they delayed their response. So he said; O Allah! Help me against them by sending on them seven years of famine similar to the seven years of famine of Joseph. So the famine year overtook them and everything was destroyed till they ate dead animals and skins. People started imagining to see smoke between them and the sky because of severe hunger. Allah said: Then watch you for the Day that the sky will bring forth a kind of smoke plainly visible; covering the people... This is painful torment. 44.10-11 So they invoked Allah Our Lord! Remove the punishment from us really we are believers. How can there be an effectual reminder for them when an Apostle; explaining things clearly; has already come to them? Then they had turned away from him and said: One taught by a human being ; a madman? We shall indeed remove punishment for a while; but truly; you will revert to disbelief. 44.12-15 Will the punishment be removed on the Day of Resurrection? Abdullah added; The punishment was removed from them for a while but they reverted to disbelief; so Allah destroyed them on the Day of Badr. Allah said: The day We shall seize you with a mighty grasp. We will indeed then exact retribution. 44.16 | The Chapter on Rain And Clouds And Smoke Associated With Punishments in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran Tafseer of the Prophet in Sahih AlBukhari |

It is not poverty that I fear for you; but what I fear for you is that the world will be presented for you just as it was presented for those before you;then you will compete for it; just as they competed for it; and it will destroy you; just as it destroyed them. | The Chapter on Military Expedition Of Bahrain in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Chapters on the description of the Day of Judgement AlRiqaq and AlWara in Sunan AlTermithi |

SunanAlNasai-017-001-15419 | It was narrated from Anas Bin Malik that he said: While we were in the masjid on Friday and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was addressing the people; a man stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah; the routes have been cut off; our wealth has been destroyed and prices have gone up. Pray to Allah SWT to give us rain. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands in level with his face and said: O Allah; give us rain. By Allah SWT ; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had not come down from the minbar before it started to pour with rain; and it rained from that day until the following Friday. Then a man stood up- I do not know if he was the same man who had asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to pray for rain for us or not- and said: O Messenger of Allah; the routes have been cut off; and our wealth has been destroyed because there is too much water. Pray to Allah SWT to stop the rain for us. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: O Allah; around us and not on us; rather on the mountains and places where trees grow. By Allah; hardly had the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoken these words than the clouds split apart and vanished until we could not see anything of them. | The Chapter on Rain And Clouds And Friday Khutba in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on How to raise the hands in Sunan AlNasai
SunanAlNasai-017-001-15422 | It was narrated from Anas Bin Malik that: A man entered the masjid when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was standing and delivering the Khutbah. He turned to face the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing and said: O Messenger of Allah; our wealth has been destroyed and the routes have been cut off. Pray to Allah SWT to send us rain. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands then said: O Allah; send us rain. Anas said: By Allah; we had not seen even a wisp of a cloud in the sky and there were no houses or buildings between us and the mountain of Sal. Then a cloud like a shield appeared; and when it reached the middle of the sky it spread and it began to rain. Anas said: By Allah; we did not see the sun for a week. Then a man entered through that door on the following Friday; when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was standing and delivering the Khutbah. He turned to face him standing and said: O Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; may Allah SWT send blessings upon you. Our wealth has been destroyed and the routes have been cut off. Pray to Allah SWT to withold the rain from us. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and said: O Allah; around us and not on us.; O Allah; on the hills and mountains; the bottoms of the valleys and where the trees grow. Then it stopped raining and we went out walking in the sun. Sharik said: I asked Anas: Was he the same man? He said: No. | The Chapter on Rain And Clouds And Friday Khutba in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The supplication in Sunan AlNasai
SunanAlNasai-017-001-15431 | It was narrated that Anas said: There was no rain for a year; so some of the Muslims went to the Prophet ﷺ one Friday and said: O Messenger of Allah; there has been no rain; the land has become bare and our wealth has been destroyed. He raised his hands; and we did not see any cloud in the sky. He stretched forth his hands until I could see the whiteness of his armpits; praying to Allah SWT for rain. When we finished praying Jumuah; even a young man whose house nearby was worried about how he would get home. That lasted for a week; then on the following Friday they said: O Messenger of Allah; houses have been destroyed and all travel has been ceased. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiled at how quickly the sons of Adam become weary; and he said with his hands raised: O Allah; around us and not on us; and it dispersed from AlMadinah. | The Chapter on Rain And Clouds And Friday Khutba in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Imam asking for rain to be stopped if he fears that it may cause harm in Sunan AlNasai
SunanAlNasai-017-001-15432 | It was narrated that Anas Bin Malik said: There was a drought during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was giving the Khutbah on the minbar one Friday; a Bedouin stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah wealth has been destroyed and our children are hungry; pray to Allah for us. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands; and we could not see even a wisp of a cloud in the sky; but by the One in Whose hand is my soul; he did not lower his hands before clouds like mountains appeared; and he did not come down from his minbar before we saw the rain dripping from his beard. It rained that day and the next day; and the day after; until the following Friday. Then that Bedouin- or he said; Someone else- stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah; buildings have been destroyed and wealth has drowned; pray to Allah SWT for us. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and said: O Allah; around us and not on us. He did not point in any direction but the clouds dispersed; until AlMadinah became like a hole. And the valleys ran with water and no one came from any direction but he told us of the heavy rains. | The Chapter on Rain And Clouds Months in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Imam raising his hands when asking for rain to stop in Sunan AlNasai
SunanAlNasai-017-001-15587 | It was narrated from Abdullah Bin Khabbab Bin AlAratt; from his father who had been present at Badr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; that: He watched the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night when he prayed all night until Fajr time. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the taslim at the end of his prayer; Khabbab said to him: May my father and mother be ransomed for you O Messenger of Allah; last night you offered a prayer the like of which I have never seen you offer. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Yes indeed. This is a prayer of hope and fear in which I asked my Lord; the Mighty and Sublime; for three things; of which He gave me two and did not grant me one. I asked my Lord not to destroy us with which he destroyed the nations before us; and He granted me that. And I asked my Lord not to let an enemy from without prevail over us; and He granted me that. And I asked my Lord not to divide us into warring factions and He did not grant me that. | The Chapter on in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Staying up at night in prayer in Sunan AlNasai |

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-26075 | Narrated Thawban: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Allah; the Exalted; folded for me the earth; or he said the narrator is doubtful : My Lord folded for me the earth; so much so that I saw its easts and wests i.e. the extremities. The kingdom of my community will reach as far as the earth was floded for me. The two treasures; the red and the white; were bestowed on me. I prayed to my Lord that He may not destroy my community by prevailing famine; and not give their control to an enemy who annihilates then en masse except from among themselves. My Lord said to me: Muhammad; If I make a decision; it is not withdrawn ; and I shall not destroy them by prevailing famine; and I shall not give their control to an enemy; except from among themselves; who exterminates them en masse; even if they are stormed from all sides of the earth ; only a section of them will destroy another section; and a section will captive another section. I am afraid about my community of those leaders who will lead astray. When the sword is used among my people; it will not be withdrawn from them till the Day of Resurrection; and the Last Hour will not come before the tribes of my people attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my people worship idols. There will be among my people thirty great liars each of them asserting that he is Allahs prophet; where as I am the seal of the Prophet s after whom me there will be no prophet ; and a section of my people will continue to hold to the truth - according to the Ibn Isa version: will continue to dominate - the agreed version goes: and will not be injured by those who oppose them; till Allah command comes. | The Chapter on Tashahhud And Enemies in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Mention Of Tribulations And Their Signs in Sunan Abu Dawoud |

MuwataMalik-017-001-34290 | Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd Ibn Aslam from his father that Umar Ibn AlKhattab gave a mawla of his called Hunay charge over the hima. He said; Hunay! Do not harm the people. Fear the supplication of the wronged; for the supplication of the wronged is answered. Let the one with a small herd of camels and the one with a small herd of sheep enter; but be wary of the livestock of Ibn Awuf and the livestock of Ibn Affan. If their livestock are destroyed; they will return to palm-trees and agriculture. If the livestock of the one with a small herd of camels and the one with a small herd of sheep are destroyed; he will bring his children to me crying; Amir Almuminin! Amir AlMuminin! Shall I neglect them? Water and pasturage are of less value to me than gold and silver. By Allah; they think that I have wronged them. This is their land and their water. They fought for it in the jahiliya and became muslims on it in Islam. By He in whose hand my self is! Were it not for the mounts which I give to be ridden in the way of Allah; I would not have turned a span of their land into hima. | The Chapter on Live Stock Milk And Graze in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prayer in Muwata Malik |
