At length, when (such a one) comes to Us, he says (to his evil companion): "Would that between me and thee were the distance of East and West!" Ah! evil is the companion (indeed)!

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1057Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ﷺ said; Whoever believes in Allah and His Apostle offers prayers perfectly and fasts the month of Ramadan then it is incumbent upon Allah to admit him into Paradise; whether he emigrates for Allah cause or stays in the land where he was born. They the companions of the Prophet said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Should we not inform the people of that? He said; There are one-hundred degrees in Paradise which Allah has prepared for those who carry on Jihad in His Cause. The distance between every two degrees is like the distance between the sky and the Earth; so if you ask Allah for anything; ask Him for the Firdaus; for it is the last part of Paradise and the highest part of Paradise; and at its top there is the Throne of Beneficent; and from it gush forth the rivers of Paradise. The Chapter on Rain And Clouds And Fear in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on And His Throne was on the water in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4129Narrated Abdullah: Allah Messenger ﷺ ; the true and truly inspired said; as regards your creation ; every one of you is collected in the womb of his mother for the first forty days; and then he becomes a clot for another forty days; and then a piece of flesh for another forty days. Then Allah sends an angel to write four items: He writes his deeds; time of his death; means of his livelihood; and whether he will be wretched or blessed in religion. Then the soul is breathed into his body. So a man may do deeds characteristic of the people of the Hell Fire; so much so that there is only the distance of a cubit between him and it; and then what has been written by the angel surpasses; and so he starts doing deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise and enters Paradise. Similarly; a person may do deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise; so much so that there is only the distance of a cubit between him and it; and then what has been written by the angel surpasses; and he starts doing deeds of the people of the Hell Fire and enters the Hell Fire. The Chapter on Angeles And Good Deeds And Day Of Hell Fire in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The creation of Adam and his offspring in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4465Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ﷺ said; Whoever believes in Allah and His Apostle; offer prayer perfectly and fasts the month of Ramadan; will rightfully be granted Paradise by Allah; no matter whether he fights in Allah Cause or remains in the land where he is born. The people said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Shall we acquaint the people with the is good news? He said; Paradise has one-hundred grades which Allah has reserved for the Mujahidin who fight in His Cause; and the distance between each of two grades is like the distance between the Heaven and the Earth. So; when you ask Allah for something ; ask for Alfirdaus which is the best and highest part of Paradise. i.e. The sub-narrator added; I think the Prophet also said; Above it i.e. AlFirdaus is the Throne of Beneficent i.e. Allah ; and from it originate the rivers of Paradise. The Chapter on in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The grades of the Mujahidun in Sahih AlBukhari

I asked Mousa; What was the distance between the two places? Mousa replied; Six or seven miles. He arranged a race of the horses which had not been made lean sending them from Thaniyat AlWada; and their limit was up to the Masjid of Bani Zuraiq. When out deal was completed; I came to know that I have been unfair to Uthman; for by selling him my land I caused him to be in a land of Thamud; at a distance of three days journey from AlMadina; while he made me neared to AlMadina; at a distance of three days journey from my former land. The Chapter on Financial Transaction And Charity in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on To buy a thing and give it as a present in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihMuslim-017-001-18771It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that there was placed before the Messenger of Allah a cup of soft bread; soup and meat. He took part of the foreleg which he liked most. He sliced with his teeth a slice out of that and said: I would be the leader of mankind on the Day of Resurrection. He then sliced that meat for the second time and said: I am the leader of mankind on the Day of Resurrection. When he saw that his companions did not ask him about this assertion he said: Why dont you say: How would that be? They said: How would be it; Messenger of Allah? He said: People would stand before the Lord of the worlds. And the rest of the hadith was narrated like the one transmitted by Abu Hayan; on the authority of Abu Zura; and in the story of Ibrahim; this addition was made. He said and made mention of his words with regard to the star: This is my Lord. And his words with regard to their gods: But the big among them has done that. And his words: I am ailing. He the Holy Prophet said: By Him in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad; the distance between two leaves of the door from their supporting frames is as the distance between Mecca and Hajar or Hajar and Mecca. The constituents of one of you are collected for forty days in his mother womb in the form of blood; after which it becomes a clot of blood in another period of forty days. Then it becomes a lump of flesh and forty days later Allah sends His angel to it with instructions concerning four things; so the angel writes down his livelihood; his death; his deeds; his fortune and misfortune. By Him; besides Whom there is no god; that one amongst you acts like the people deserving Paradise until between him and Paradise there remains but the distance of a cubit; when suddenly the writing of destiny overcomes him and he begins to act like the denizens of Hell and thus enters Hell; and another one acts in the way of the denizens of Hell; until there remains between him and Hell a distance of a cubit that the writing of destiny overcomes him and then he begins to act like the people of Paradise and enters Paradise. The Chapter on Angeles And Good Deeds And Day Of Hell Fire in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 1 in Sahih Muslim

O Allah; wash away my sins with snow and hail water; purify my heart from the sins as is purified the white garment from the dirt; and keep away at a distance the sins from me as yawns the distance between the East and the West; O Allah; I seek refuge in Thee from sloth; from senility; from sin; and from debt. The Chapter on Supplication And Torment Seeking Refuge From Grave Punishment And Aldajjal in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 14 in Sahih Muslim

The meaning of janab is that the animals are removed at a distance from the collector. The owners of the animals should do so. Abu Dawud said: I am not quite confident about the word anan. He asked: Do you know the distance between Heaven and Earth? They replied: We do not know. He then said: The distance between them is seventy-one; seventy-two; or seventy-three years. The heaven which is above it is at a similar distance going on till he counted seven heavens. Above the seventh heaven there is a sea; the distance between whose surface and bottom is like that between one heaven and the next.
