SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2126		Narrated Amr Bin Auf: An ally of the tribe of Bani Amir Bin Louai and one of those who had witnessed the battle of Badr with Allah Messenger ﷺ Allah Messenger ﷺ sent Abu Ubaida Bin AlJarrah to Bahrain to collect the Jizya tax. Allah Messenger ﷺ had concluded a peace treaty with the people of Bahrain and appointed AlAla Bin AlHadrami as their chief; Abu Ubaida arrived from Bahrain with the money. The Ansar heard of Abu Ubaida arrival which coincided with the Fajr morning prayer led by Allah Messenger ﷺ. When the Prophet ﷺ finished the prayer; they came to him. Allah Messenger ﷺ smiled when he saw them and said; I think you have heard of the arrival of Abu Ubaida and that he has brought something. They replied; Yes; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said; Have the good news; and hope for what will please you. By Allah; I am not afraid that you will become poor; but I am afraid that worldly wealth will be given to you in abundance as it was given to those nations before you; and you will start competing each other for it as the previous nations competed for it; and then it will divert you from good as it diverted them. Allahumma in kunta talamu anna hadhal-amra khairun li fi dini wa maishati wa aqibati amri; or said: Fi ajili amri wa ajilihi fayassirhu li;thumma barik li fihi; wa in kunta talamu anna hadhal-amra sharrun li fi dini wa maishati wa aqibati amri; or said: Fi ajili amri wa ajilihi fasrifhu anni wasrifni anhu waqdur Lil-khaira haithu kana; thumma ardini bih. O Allah! I consult Your knowledge; and seek ability from Your power; and I ask You from Your magnificent bounty; for indeed You have power and I do not have power; and You know while I do not know; and You know the unseen. O Allah! If you know that this matter is good for me in my religion or my livelihood; and for my life in the Hereafter - or he said: for my present and future - then make it easy for me; then bless me in it. If You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion and my livelihood and my life in the Hereafter - or he said: for my present and future - then divert it from me and divert me from it; enable me to find the good wherever it is; then make me pleased with it.He said: And he mentions his need.
