SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2012 | Narrated Hudhaifa: The Prophet ﷺ once delivered a speech in front of us wherein he left nothing but mentioned about everything that would happen till the Hour. Some of us stored that our minds and some forgot it. After that speech I used to see events taking place which had been referred to in that speech but I had forgotten them before their occurrence. Then I would recognize such events as a man recognizes another man who has been absent and then sees and recognizes him. | The Chapter on Truth And Hypocrisy And Companions In Almadinah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on And the Command of Allah is a decree determined in Sahih AlBukhari | |
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6170 | Narrated Ubaidullah Bin Abdullah: Ibn Abbas said; When the ailment of the Prophet ﷺ became worse; he said; Bring for me writing paper and I will write for you a statement after which you will not go astray. But Umar said; The Prophet is seriously ill; and we have got Allah Book with us and that is sufficient for us. But the companions of the Prophet ﷺ differed about this and there was a hue and cry. On that the Prophet ﷺ said to them; Go away and leave me alone. It is not right that you should quarrel in front of me. Ibn Abbas came out saying; It was most unfortunate a great disaster that Allah Messenger ﷺ was prevented from writing that statement for them because of their disagreement and noise. Note: It is apparent from this Hadith that Ibn Abbas had witnessed the event and came out saying this statement. The truth is not so; for Ibn Abbas used to say this statement on narrating the Hadith and he had not witnessed the event personally. See Fath AlBari Vol. 1; p.220 footnote. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10202 | Ibn Abbas said: The jinns used to ascent through the heavens; trying to listen about the Revealation. So when they heard a statement; they would add nine to it. The statement that they heard would be true; while what they added was false. So it was with the advent of the Messenger of Allah that they were prevented from their places. So they mentioned that to Iblis and the stars were not shot at them before that. So Iblis said to them: This is naught but an event that has occurred in the earth. So he sent out his armies; and they found the Messenger of Allah standing in Prayer between two mountains I think he said in Makkah So they returned to meet with him Iblis ; and informed him. He said: This is the event that has happened on the earth. | The Chapter on Facts And Alquran in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Chapters on Tafsir in Sunan AlTermithi |
