SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1798 | Narrated AlHarith Bin Suwaid: Abdullah Bin Masud related to us two narrations: One from the Prophet ﷺ and the other from himself; saying: A believer sees his sins as if he were sitting under a mountain which; he is afraid; may fall on him; whereas the wicked person considers his sins as flies passing over his nose and he just drives them away like this. Abu Shihab the sub-narrator moved his hand over his nose in illustration. Ibn Masud added : Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than a man who encamps at a place where his life is jeopardized; but he has his riding beast carrying his food and water. He then rests his head and sleeps for a short while and wakes to find his riding beast gone. He starts looking for it and suffers from severe heat and thirst or what Allah wished him to suffer from. He then says; I will go back to my place. He returns and sleeps again; and then getting up ; he raises his head to find his riding beast standing beside him. | The Chapter on Forgiveness And Repents in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on AtTauba in Sahih AlBukhari

He replied; To such and such Sheikh. Nawas said; Woe to you; By Allah; that Sheikh was Ibn Umar. Nawas then went to Ibn Umar and said to him; My partner sold you camels suffering from the disease of excessive thirst and he had not known you. Ibn Umar told him to take them back. When Nawas went to take them; Ibn Umar said to him; Leave them there as I am happy with the decision of Allah Messenger ﷺ that there is no oppression. | The Chapter on Debt And Creditors And Wealth in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Purchasing of camel suffering from disease in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihMuslim-017-001-18817 | Husain Bin Abdulrahman reported: I was with Saeed Bin Jubair when he said: Who amongst you saw a star shooting last night? I said: It was I; then I said: I was in fact not busy in prayer; but was stung by a scorpion and that is the reason why I was awake and had a glimpse of the shooting star. He said: Then what did you do? I said: I practised charm. He said: What urged you to do this? I said: I did this according to the implied suggestion of the hadith which AlShuba narrated. He said: What did AlShuba narrate to you? I said: Buraida Bin Husaib AlAslami narrated to us. The charm is of no avail except in case of the evil influence of an eye or the sting of a scorpion. He said: He who acted according to what he had heard from the Holy Prophet acted rightly; but Ibn Abbas narrated to us from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said: There were brought before me the peoples and I saw an apostle and a small group of his followers along with him; another apostle and one or two persons along with him and still another apostle having no one with him. When a very large group was brought to me I conceived as if it were my Ummah. Then it was said to me: It is Moses and his people. You should look at the horizon; and I saw a very huge group. It was again said to me: See the other side of the horizon; and there was also a very huge group. It was said to me: This is your Ummah; and amongst them there were seventy thousand persons who would be made to enter Paradise without rendering any account and without suffering any torment. He then stood up and went to his house. Then the people began to talk about the people who would be admitted to Paradise without rendering any account and without suffering any torment. Some of them said: They may be those who have had the good fortune of living in the company of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and some of them said: They be those who were born in Islam and did not associate anything with Allah. Some people mentioned other things. Thereupon came forth the Messenger of Allah ﷺ before them and he said: What was that which you were talking about? They informed him. He said: They are those persons who neither practise charm; nor ask others to practise it; nor do they take omens; and repose their trust in their Lord. Upon this Ukkasha Bin Mihsan stood up and said: Supplicate for me that He should make me one among them. Upon this he Messenger of Allah said: Thou are one among them. Then another man stood up and said: Supplicate before Allah that He should make me one among them. Upon this he said: Ukkisha has preceded you. | The Chapter on Enemies And Groups And Heart Following in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 94 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-19466 | Abdullah reported that Umm Habiba; the wife of Allah Apostle ﷺ ; said: 0 Allah; enable me to derive benefit from my husband; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; and from my father Abu Sufyan and from my brother Muawiya. Allah Apostle ﷺ said: You have asked from Allah about durations of life already set; and the length of days already allotted and the sustenances the share of which has been fixed. Allah would not do anything earlier before its due time; or He would not delay anything beyond its due time. And if you were to ask Allah to provide you refuge from the torment of the HellFire; or from the torment of the grave; it would have good in store for you and better for you also. He the narrator further said: Mention was made before him about monkeys; and Misar one of the narrators said: I think that the narrator also made a mention of the swine; which had suffered metamorphosis. Thereupon he the Holy Prophet said: Verily; Allah did not cause the race of those which suffered metamorphosis to grow or they were not survived by young ones. Monkeys and swine had been in existence even before the metamorphosis of the human beings. | The Chapter on Supplication And Torment Related To Life And Death in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 7 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-19468 | Ibn Masdd reported that Umm Habiba said: 0 Allah; enable me to derive benefit from my husband; Allah Messenger ﷺ ; and from my father Abu Sufyan; and from my brother Muawiya. Allah Messenger ﷺ said to her: Verily; you have asked Allah about the durations of life already set; and the steps which you would take; and the sustenances the share of which is fixed. Nothing would take place earlier than its due time; and nothing would be deferred beyond that when it is due. So; if you were to ask Allah about your safety from the torment of Hell-Fire and from the torment of the grave; it would have been better for you. A person said: Allah Messenger; what about those apes and swine which suffered metamorphosis? Thereupon Allah Apostle ﷺ said: Verily; Allah; the Exalted and Glorious; did not destroy a people or did not torment a people; and let their race grow. Apes and swine had been even before that when the deniers of truth were tormented and suffered metamorphosis. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Sufyin through another chain of transmitters but with a slight variation of wording. | The Chapter on Supplication And Torment Related To Life And Death in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 7 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-19517 | Abu Huraira reported Allah Messenger ﷺ as saying: He who alleviates the suffering of a brother out of the sufferings of the world; Allah would alleviate his suffering from the sufferings of the Day of Resurrection; and he who finds relief for one who is hard-pressed; Allah would make things easy for him in the Hereafter; and he who conceals the faults of a Muslim; Allah would conceal his faults in the world and in the Hereafter. Allah is at the back of a servant so long as the servant is at the back of his brother; and he who treads the path in search of knowledge; Allah would make that path easy; leading to Paradise for him and those persons who assemble in the house among the houses of Allah Masjids and recite the Book of Allah and they learn and teach the Quran among themselves there would descend upon them tranquility and mercy would cover them and the angels would surround them and Allah mentions them in the presence of those near Him; and he who is slow-paced in doing good deeds; his high lineage does not make him go ahead. | The Chapter on Debt And Creditors And Money in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 11 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-20384 | Abu Huraira reported Allah Messenger ﷺ as sayings: A person suffered from intense thirst while on a journey; when he found a well. He climbed down into it and drank water and then came out and saw a dog lolling its tongue on account of thirst and eating the moistened earth. The person said: This dog has suffered from thirst as I had suffered from it. He climbed down into the well; filled his shoe with water; then caught it in his mouth until he climbed up and made the dog drink it. So Allah appreciated this act of his and pardoned him. Then the Companions around him said: Allah Messenger; is there for us a reward even for serving such animals? He said: Yes; there is a reward for service to every living animal. | The Chapter on Thirst in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 41 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-20899 | Usair Bin Jabir reported that when people from Yemen came to help the Muslim army at the time of jihad he asked them: Is there amongst you Uwais Bin Amir? He continued finding him out until he met Uwais. He said: Are you Uwais b.; Amir? He said: Yes. He said: Are you from the tribe of Qaran? He said: Yes. He Hadrat Umar again said: Did you suffer from leprosy and then you were cured from it but for the space of a dirham? He said: Yes. He Umar said: Is your mother living ? He said: Yes. He Umar said: I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ say: There would come to you Uwais Bin Amir with the reinforcement from the people of Yemen. He would be from Qaran; the branch of Murid. He had been suffering from leprosy from which he was cured but for a spot of a dirham. His treatment with his mother would have been excellent. If he were to take an oath in the name of Allah; He would honour that. And if it is possible for you; then do ask him to beg forgiveness for you from your Lord. So he Uwais begged forgiveness for him. Umar said: Where do you intend to go? He said: To Kufa. He Umar said: Let me write a letter for you to its governor; whereupon he Uwais said: I love to live amongst the poor people. When it was the next year; a person from among the elite of Kufa performed Hajj and he met Umar. He asked him about Uwais. He said: I left him in a state with meagre means of sustenance. Thereupon Umar said: I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ as saying: There would come to you Uwais Bin Amir; of Qaran; a branch of the tribe of Murid; along with the reinforcement of the people of Yemen. He had been suffering from leprosy which would have been cured but for the space of a dirham. His treatment with his mother would have been very kind. If he would take an oath in the name of Allah for something He would honour it. Ask him to beg forgiveness for you from Allah in case it is possible for you. So he came to Uwais and said.: Beg forgiveness from Allah for me. He Uwais said: You have just come from a sacred journey Hajj ; you; therefore; ask forgiveness for me. He the person who had performed Hajj said: Ask forgiveness for me from Allah. He Uwais again said: You have just come from the sacred journey; so you ask forgiveness for me. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10190 | Zaid Bin Arqam said: We were participating in a battle along with the Messenger of Allah; and there were some people from the Bedouins with us. So we all rushed toward some water and the Bedouins raced us to it. One of the Bedouins beat his companions to it and he tried to obstruct the pond; he placed rocks around it and he put a leather sheet over it until his companions came. He said: A man among the Ansar reached the Bedouin and he dropped the reigns of his camel to drink; but the Bedouin would not allow him. So he started removing the barriers around the water; but the Bedouin raised a stick beating the Ansari man on the head; and smashed it. He went to Abdullah Bin Ubay; the head of the hypocrite; to inform him he was in fact one of his companions. So Abdullah Bin Ubay became enraged; the he said: Do not spend anything on whoever is with Muhammad until they depart. Meaning the Bedouins. They were preparing food for the Messenger of Allah. So Abdullah said: When they depart from Muhammad; then bring Muhammad some food; and let him and whoever is with him eat it. Then he said to his companions: If we return to AlMadinah; indeed the more honorable will expel therefrom the meaner. Zaid said: And I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah; and I had heard Abdullah Bin Ubay; so I informed my uncle who went to tell the Messenger of Allah. He sent a message to him Abdullah but he took an oath and denied it. He said: So the Messenger of Allah accepted what he said and did not believe me. So my uncle came to me and said: You only wanted the Messenger of Allah to hate you; and the Muslims to say that you lied. He said: I suffered such worry as has not been suffered by anyone else. He said: Later while I was on the move with the Messenger of Allah on a journey; my mind was relieved of worry; since the Messenger of Allah came to me and rubbed my ear and smiled in my face. I would never be happier than with that as long as the world remained. Then Abu Bakr caught up to me; and said: What did the Messenger of Allah say to you? I said: He did not say anything to me; he only rubbed my ear and smiled in my face. He said: Receive the good news! Then Umar caught up with me and I said the same to him as I had said to Abu Bakr. In the morning the Messenger of Allah recited Surat AlMunafiqin. | The Chapter on Journeys And Travel And Bedouins in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Chapters on Tafsir in Sunan AlTermithi

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25720 | Narrated Ziyad Ibn Saad Ibn Dumayrah AlSulami: On the authority of his father Sad and his grandfather Dumayrah according to Mousa version who were present in the battle of Hunayn with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : After the advent of Islam; Muhallam Ibn Jaththamah AlLaythi killed a man of Ashja. That was the first blood-money decided by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for payment. Uyaynah spoke about the killing of AlAshjai; for he belonged to Ghatafan; and AlAqra Ibn Habis spoke on behalf of Muhallam; for he belonged to Khunduf. The voices rose high; and the dispute and noise grew. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do you not accept blood-money; Uyaynah? Uyaynah then said: No; I swear by Allah; until I cause his women to suffer the same fighting and grief as he caused my women to suffer. Again the voices rose high; and the dispute and noise grew. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do you not accept the blood-money Uyaynah? Uyaynah gave the same reply as before; and a man of Banu Layth called Mukaytil stood up. He had a weapon and a skin shield in his hand. He said: I do not find in the beginning of Islam any illustration for what he has done except the one that some sheep came on; and those in the front were shot; hence those in the rear ran away. The other example is that make a law today and change it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Fifty camels here immediately and fifty when we return to Medina. This happened during some of his journeys. Muhallam was a tall man of dark complexion. He was with the people. They continued to make effort for him until he was released. He sat before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; with his eyes flowing. He said: Messenger of Allah! I have done the act of which you have been informed. I repent to Allah; the Exalted; so ask Allah forgiveness for me. Messenger of Allah! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: Did you kill him with your weapon at the beginning of Islam. O Allah! do not forgive Muhallam. He said these words loudly. Abu Salamah added: He Muhallam then got up while he was wiping his tears with the end of his garment. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-26437 | Urwah Bin AlZubair said: Fatimah daughter of Abu Hubaish narrated to me that she asked Asma daughter of Abu Bakr ; or Asma narrated to me that Fatimah daughter of Abu Hubaish asked her to question the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He advised her to refrain from prayer equal to the period she refrained previously. She then should wash herself.1Abu Dawud said: Qatadah narrated it from Urwah Bin AlZubair; from Zainab daughter of Umm Salamah; that Umm Habibah daughter of Jahsh had a prolonged flow of blood. The Prophet ﷺ commanded her to abandon prayer for the period of her menses. She then should take a bath; and offer prayer.Abu Dawud said: Qatadah did not hear anything from Urwah. 2And Ibn Uyainah added in the tradition narrated by AlZuhri from Umrah on the authority of Aishah. Umm Habibah had a prolonged flow of blood. She asked the Prophet ﷺ. He commanded her to abandon prayer during her menstrual period.Abu Dawud said: This is a misunderstanding on the part of Ibn Uyainah. This is not found in the tradition reported by the transmitter from AlZuhri except that mentioned by Suhail Bin Abu Salih. AlHumaidi also narrated this tradition from Ibn Uyainah; but he did not mention the words she should abandon prayer during her menstrual period.1Qumair daughter of Masruq reported on the authority of Aisha: The woman who has prolonged flow of blood should abandon prayer during her menstrual period.3Abd AlRahman Bin AlQasim reported on the authority of his father: The Prophet ﷺ commanded her to abandon prayers equal to the length of time that she has her usual menses.2Abu Bishr Jafar Bin Abi Wahshiyah reported on the authority of Ikrimah from the Prophet ﷺ saying: Umm Habibah daughter of Jahsh had a prolonged flow of blood; and he transmitted like that.1Sharik narrated from Abu AlYaqzan from Adi Bin Thabit from his father on the authority of his grandfather from the Prophet ﷺ : The woman suffering from a prolonged flow of blood should abandon prayer during her menstrual period ; she then should was herself and pray. 1Al-Ala Bin AlMusayab reported from AlHakam on the authority of Abu Jafar; saying: Saudah had a prolonged flow of blood. The Prophet ﷺ commanded that when he menstruation was finished; she should take bath and pray.1Said Bin Jubair reported from Ali and Ibn Abbas : A woman suffering from a prolonged flow of blood should refrain from prayers during her menstrual period.1Ammar; the freed slave of Banu Hashim and Talq Bin Habib narrated in a similar way.1Similarly; it was reported by Maaqil AlKhathami from Ali4; AlShabi also transmitted it in a similar manner from Qumair; the wife of Masruq; on the authority of Aishah.1Abu Dawud said: AlHasan; Saeed Bin AlMusayab; Ata; Makhul; Ibrahim; Salim and AlQasim also hold that a woman suffering from a prolonged flow of blood should abandon prayer during her menstrual period.Abu Dawud said: Qatadah did not hear anything from Urwah. | The Chapter on Prolonged Menstruation in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Concerning The Woman Who Has Istihadah And Those Scholars Who Stated That She Should Leave The Prayer For The Number Of Days Which She Used To Menstruate in Sunan Abu Dawoud
