SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3626 | Narrated Aisha: My foster uncle came and asked permission to enter but I refused to admit him till I asked Allah Apostle about that. He said; He is your uncle; so allow him to come in. I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I have been suckled by a woman and not by a man. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; He is your uncle; so let him enter upon you. And that happened after the order of AlHijab compulsory veiling was revealed. All things which become unlawful because of blood relations are unlawful because of the corresponding foster suckling relations. | The Chapter on Boiling Drinks in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Visiting or looking at women having foster suckling reltions in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3855 | Narrated Urwa Bin AlZubair: Abdullah Bin AlZubair was the most beloved person to Aisha excluding the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr; and he in his turn; was the most devoted to her; Aisha used not to withhold the money given to her by Allah; but she used to spend it in charity. Abdullah Bin AlZubair said; Aisha should be stopped from doing so. When Aisha heard this ; she said protestingly; Shall I be stopped from doing so? I vow that I will never talk to Abdullah Bin AlZubair. On that; Ibn AlZubair asked some people from Quraish and particularly the two uncles of Allah Messenger ﷺ to intercede with her; but she refused to talk to him. AlZuhriyun; the uncles of the Prophet; including Abdulrahman Bin AlAswad Bin Abd Yaghuth and AlMiswar Bin Makhrama said to him; When we ask for the permission to visit her; enter her house along with us without taking her leave. He did accordingly and she accepted their intercession. He sent her ten slaves whom she manumitted as an expiation for not keeping her vow. Aisha manumitted more slaves for the same purpose till she manumitted forty slaves. She said; I wish I had specified what I would have done in case of not fulfilling my vow when I made the vow; so that I might have done it easily. | The Chapter on Slaves And Charity in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Virtues of Quraish in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4417 | Narrated Amra bint Abdulrahman That Aisha the wife of the Prophet ﷺ told her uncle that once; while the Prophet ﷺ was in her house; she heard a man asking Hafsa permission to enter her house. Aisha said; I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I think the man is Hafsa foster uncle. Aisha added; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! There is a man asking the permission to enter your house. Allah Messenger ﷺ replied; I think the man is Hafsa foster uncle. Aisha said; If so-and-so were living i.e. her foster uncle would he be allowed to visit me? Allah Apostle said; Yes; he would; as the foster relations are treated like blood relations in marital affairs. | The Chapter on Premises in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on To give witness concerning lineage foster suckling relations and dead persons in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4874 | Narrated AlBara: When the Prophet ﷺ intended to perform Umra in the month of Dh AlQada; the people of Mecca did not let him enter Mecca till he settled the matter with them by promising to stay in it for three days only. When the document of treaty was written; the following was mentioned: These are the terms on which Muhammad; Allah Messenger ﷺ agreed to make peace. They said; We will not agree to this; for if we believed that you are Allah Messenger ﷺ we would not prevent you; but you are Muhammad Bin Abdullah. The Prophet ﷺ said; I am Allah Messenger ﷺ and also Muhammad Bin Abdullah. Then he said to Ali; Rub off the words Allah Messenger ﷺ ; but Ali said; No; by Allah; I will never rub off your name. So; Allah Messenger ﷺ took the document and wrote; This is what Muhammad Bin Abdullah has agreed upon: No arms will be brought into Mecca except in their cases; and nobody from the people of Mecca will be allowed to go with him i.e. the Prophet ﷺ even if he wished to follow him and he the Prophet ﷺ will not prevent any of his companions from staying in Mecca if the latter wants to stay. When the Prophet ﷺ entered Mecca and the time limit passed; the Meccans went to Ali and said; Tell your Friend i.e. the Prophet ﷺ to go out; as the period agreed to has passed. So; the Prophet ﷺ went out of Mecca. The daughter of Hamza ran after them i.e. the Prophet ﷺ and his companions ; calling; O Uncle! O Uncle! Ali received her and led her by the hand and said to Fatima; Take your uncle daughter. Zaid and Jafar quarreled about her. Ali said; I have more right to her as she is my uncle daughter. Jafar said; She is my uncle daughter; and her aunt is my wife. Zaid said; She is my brother daughter. The Prophet ﷺ judged that she should be given to her aunt; and said that the aunt was like the mother. He then said to All; You are from me and I am from you; and said to Jafar; You resemble me both in character and appearance; and said to Zaid; You are our brother in faith and our freed slave. | The Chapter on Makkah And Almadinah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on How to write re conciliation in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6590 | Narrated AlBara: When the Prophet ﷺ went out for the Umra in the month of Dhal-Qada; the people of Mecca did not allow him to enter Mecca till he agreed to conclude a peace treaty with them by virtue of which he would stay in Mecca for three days only in the following year. When the agreement was being written; the Muslims wrote: This is the peace treaty; which Muhammad; Apostle of Allah has concluded. The infidels said to the Prophet ; We do not agree with you on this; for if we knew that you are Apostle of Allah we would not have prevented you for anything i.e. entering Mecca; etc. ; but you are Muhammad; the son of Abdullah. Then he said to Ali; Erase the name of Apostle of Allah. Ali said; No; by Allah; I will never erase you i.e. your name. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ took the writing sheet...and he did not know a better writing..and he wrote or got it the following written! This is the peace treaty which Muhammad; the son of Abdullah; has concluded: Muhammad should not bring arms into Mecca except sheathed swords; and should not take with him any person of the people of Mecca even if such a person wanted to follow him; and if any of his companions wants to stay in Mecca; he should not forbid him. In the next year when the Prophet ﷺ entered Mecca and the allowed period of stay elapsed; the infidels came to Ali and said Tell your companion Muhammad to go out; as the allowed period of his stay has finished. So the Prophet ﷺ departed from Mecca and the daughter of Hamza followed him shouting O Uncle; O Uncle! Ali took her by the hand and said to Fatima; Take the daughter of your uncle. So she made her ride on her horse. When they reached Medina Ali; Zaid and Jafar quarreled about her. Ali said; I took her for she is the daughter of my uncle. Jafar said; She is the daughter of my uncle and her aunt is my wife. Zaid said; She is the daughter of my brother. On that; the Prophet ﷺ gave her to her aunt and said; The aunt is of the same status as the mother. He then said to Ali; You are from me; and I am from you; and said to Jafar; You resemble me in appearance and character; and said to Zaid; You are our brother and our freed slave. Ali said to the Prophet Wont you marry the daughter of Hamza? The Prophet ﷺ said; She is the daughter of my foster brother. | The Chapter on Makkah And Almadinah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Umra AlQada in Sahih AlBukhari

The man was not the person who had nursed me; but the woman; the wife of Abi AlQuais had nursed me. He said; Admit him; for he is your uncle. I reported that saying to my uncle or to Umar who; in his turn; informed the Prophet ﷺ of it. The Prophet ﷺ called me and I narrated to him the whole story. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ sent for Abdullah Bin Ubai and his companions; and they took an oath that they did not say that. So Allah Messenger ﷺ disbelieved my saying and believed his. I was distressed as I never was before. I stayed at home and my uncle said to me. You just wanted Allah Messenger ﷺ to disbelieve your statement and hate you. So Allah revealed the Surat beginning with When the hypocrites come to you. 63.1 The Prophet ﷺ then sent for me and recited it and said; O Zaid! Allah Messenger ﷺ sent for Abdullah Bin Ubai and his companions. They swore that they did not say anything of that sort Allah Messenger ﷺ deemed their statement true and rejected mine. Thereof I became as distressed as I have never been before; and stayed at home. Then Allah revealed Surat AlMunafiqin : When the hypocrites come to you..... 63.1 They are the ones who say: Spend nothing on those who are with Allah Messenger ﷺ.. 63.7 Verily the more honorable will expel therefrom the meaner.. 63.7-8 Allah Messenger ﷺ sent for me and recited that Surat for me and said; Allah has confirmed your statement. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-10190 | Zaid Bin Arqam said: We were participating in a battle along with the Messenger of Allah; and there were some people from the Bedouins with us. So we all rushed toward some water and the Bedouins raced us to it. One of the Bedouins beat his companions to it and he tried to obstruct the pond; he placed rocks around it and he put a leather sheet over it until his companions came. He said: A man among the Ansar reached the Bedouin and he dropped the reigns of his camel to drink; but the Bedouin would not allow him. So he started removing the barriers around the water; but the Bedouin raised a stick beating the Ansari man on the head; and smashed it. He went to Abdullah Bin Ubay; the head of the hypocrite; to inform him he was in fact one of his companions. So Abdullah Bin Ubay became enraged; the he said: Do not spend anything on whoever is with Muhammad until they depart. Meaning the Bedouins. They were preparing food for the Messenger of Allah. So Abdullah said: When they depart from Muhammad; then bring Muhammad some food; and let him and whoever is with him eat it. Then he said to his companions: If we return to AlMadinah; indeed the more honorable will expel therefrom the meaner. Zaid said: And I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah; and I had heard Abdullah Bin Ubay; so I informed my uncle who went to tell the Messenger of Allah. He sent a message to him Abdullah but he took an oath and denied it. He said: So the Messenger of Allah accepted what he said and did not believe me. So my uncle came to me and said: You only wanted the Messenger of Allah to hate you; and the Muslims to say that you lied. He said: I suffered such worry as has not been suffered by anyone else. He said: Later while I was on the move with the Messenger of Allah on a journey; my mind was relieved of worry; since the Messenger of Allah came to me and rubbed my ear and smiled in my face. I would never be happier than with that as long as the world remained. Then Abu Bakr caught up to me; and said: What did the Messenger of Allah say to you? I said: He did not say anything to me; he only rubbed my ear and smiled in my face. He said: Receive the good news! Then Umar caught up with me and I said the same to him as I had said to Abu Bakr.
