SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1244 | Narrated Ali: The Prophet ﷺ sent an army unit for some campaign and appointed a man from the Ansar as its commander and ordered them the soldiers to obey him. During the campaign he became angry with them and said; Didnt the Prophet ﷺ order you to obey me? They said; Yes. He said; I order you to collect wood and make a fire and then throw yourselves into it. So they collected wood and made a fire; but when they were about to throw themselves into; it they started looking at each other; and some of them said; We followed the Prophet ﷺ to escape from the fire. How should we enter it now? So while they were in that state; the fire extinguished and their commander anger abated. The event was mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ and he said; If they had entered it the fire they would never have come out of it; for obedience is required only in what is good. See Hadith No. 629. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2770 | Narrated Adi Bin Hatim: I asked the Prophet ﷺ about the game killed by a Mirad i.e. a sharp-edged piece of wood or a piece of wood provided with a sharp piece of iron used for hunting. He said; If the game is killed with its sharp edge; eat of it; but if it is killed with its shaft; with a hit by its broad side then the game is unlawful to eat for it has been beaten to death. I asked him about the game killed by a trained hound. He said; If the hound catches the game for you; eat of it; for killing the game by the hound; is like its slaughtering. But if you see with your hound or hounds another dog; and you are afraid that it might have shared in hunting the game with your hound and killed it; then you should not eat of it; because you have mentioned Allah name on sending your hound only; but you have not mentioned it on some other hound. | The Chapter on Games And Hunting And Hitting Game With Sharp Iron in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The mentioning of Allah Name while hunting in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2781 | Narrated Adi Bin Hatim: I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I let loose my hound after a game and mention Allah Name on sending it. The Prophet ﷺ said; If you let loose your hound after a game and you mention Allah Name on sending it and the hound catches and kills the game and eats of it; then you should not eat of it; for it has killed it for itself. I said; Sometimes when I send my hound after a game; I find another hound along with it and I do not know which of them has caught the game. He said; You must not eat of it because you have not mentioned; the Name of Allah except on sending your own hound; and you did not mention it on the other hound. Then I asked him about the game hunted with a Mirad i.e. a sharp edged piece of wood or a piece of wood provided with a sharp piece of iron used for hunting. He said; If the game is killed with its sharp edge; you can eat of it; but if it is killed by its broad side shaft ; you cannot eat of it; for then it is like an animal beaten to death with a piece of wood. | The Chapter on Games And Hunting And Hitting Game With Sharp Iron in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on If somebody finds another hound with the game in Sahih AlBukhari

They asked him about it and he said; By Allah; I know of what wood the pulpit was made; and no doubt I saw it on the very first day when Allah Messenger ﷺ took his seat on it. Allah Messenger ﷺ sent for such and such an Ansari woman and Sahl mentioned her name and said to her; Order your slave-carpenter to prepare for me some pieces of wood i.e. pulpit on which I may sit at the time of addressing the people. So she ordered her slave-carpenter and he made it from the tamarisk of the forest and brought it to the woman. The woman sent that pulpit to Allah Messenger ﷺ who ordered it to be placed here. Then I saw Allah Messenger ﷺ praying on it and then bowed on it. Then he stepped back; got down and prostrated on the ground near the foot of the pulpit and again ascended the pulpit. After finishing the prayer he faced the people and said; I have done this so that you may follow me and learn the way I pray. | The Chapter on Pulpit And Khutba And Commands in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on to deliver the Khutba on the pulpit in Sahih AlBukhari

He took the piece of wood to the sea and said. O Allah! You know well that I took a loan of one thousand Dinars from so-and-so. He demanded a surety from me but I told him that Allah Guarantee was sufficient and he accepted Your guarantee. He then asked for a witness and I told him that Allah was sufficient as a Witness; and he accepted You as a Witness. No doubt; I tried hard to find a conveyance so that I could pay his money but could not find; so I hand over this money to You. Saying that; he threw the piece of wood into the sea till it went out far into it; and then he went away. Meanwhile he started searching for a conveyance in order to reach the creditor country. One day the lender came out of his house to see whether a ship had arrived bringing his money; and all of a sudden he saw the piece of wood in which his money had been deposited. He took it home to use for fire. When he sawed it; he found his money and the letter inside it. Shortly after that; the debtor came bringing one thousand Dinars to him and said; By Allah; I had been trying hard to get a boat so that I could bring you your money; but failed to get one before the one I have come by. The lender asked; Have you sent something to me? The debtor replied; I have told you I could not get a boat other than the one I have come by. The lender said; Allah has delivered on your behalf the money you sent in the piece of wood. So; you may keep your one thousand Dinars and depart guided on the right path. | The Chapter on Financial Transactions And Loans in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on AlKafala in Sahih AlBukhari

I release my dog by the name of Allah and find with it at the game; another dog on which I have not mentioned the name of Allah; and I do not know which one of them caught the game. I am not going to do anything against the will of God in your case; and if you turn away from what I say Allah will destroy you. And I find you in the same state which I was shown in the dream and here is Thabit and he would answer you on my behalf. He the Holy Prophet then went back. Ibn Abbas said: I asked the meaning of the words of Allah Apostle ﷺ : You are the same what I was made to see about you in my dream. and Abu Huraira reported that Allah Messenger ﷺ said: While I was sleeping I saw in my hands two gold bangles. This had a disturbing effect upon me and I was given a suggestion in the sleep that I should blow over them; so I blew over them and they were no more. Then the Messengerof Allah ﷺ commanded it to be placed here where it is lying now. It was fashioned out of the wood of AlGhaba. And I saw the Messenger of Allah may peace he upon him standing upon it and glorifying Allah and the people also glorified Allah after him; while he was on the pulpit. He then raised his head from prostration and stepped back on his heels till he prostrated himself at the base of pulpit; and then returned to the former place and this movement of one or two steps continued till the prayer was complete.
