But the Monasticism which they invented for themselves, We did not prescribe for them: (We commanded) only the seeking for the Good Pleasure of Allah; but that they did not foster as they should have done. Yet We bestowed, on those among them who believed, their (due) reward, but many of them are rebellious transgressors. |

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3491 | Narrated Aisha: the wife of the Prophet that while Allah Messenger ﷺ was with her; she heard a voice of a man asking permission to enter the house of Hafsa. Aisha added: I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! This man is asking permission to enter your house. The Prophet ﷺ said; I think he is so-and-so; naming the foster-uncle of Hafsa. Aisha said; If so-and-so; naming her foster uncle; were living; could he enter upon me? The Prophet ﷺ said; Yes; for foster suckling relations make all those things unlawful which are unlawful through corresponding birth blood relations. | The Chapter on Entering in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on your fostermothers who gave you suck in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3494 | Narrated Aisha: that the Prophet ﷺ entered upon her while a man was sitting with her. Signs of answer seemed to appear on his face as if he disliked that. She said; Here is my foster brother. He said; Be sure as to who is your foster brother; for foster suckling relationship is established only when milk is the only food of the child. | The Chapter on Milk in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on No suckling is to be carried on after the baby is two years old in Sahih AlBukhari

He said; He is your uncle; so allow him to come in. I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I have been suckled by a woman and not by a man. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; He is your uncle; so let him enter upon you. And that happened after the order of AlHijab compulsory veiling was revealed. All things which become unlawful because of blood relations are unlawful because of the corresponding foster suckling relations. | The Chapter on Boiling Drinks in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Visiting or looking at women having foster suckling reltions in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4416 | Narrated Ibn Abbas: The Prophet ﷺ said about Hamza daughter; I am not legally permitted to marry her; as foster relations are treated like blood relations in marital affairs. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4417 | Narrated Amra bint Abdulrahman That Aisha the wife of the Prophet ﷺ told her uncle that once; while the Prophet ﷺ was in her house; she heard a man asking Hafsa permission to enter her house. Aisha said; I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I think the man is Hafsa foster uncle. Aisha added; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! There is a man asking the permission to enter your house. Allah Messenger ﷺ replied; I think the man is Hafsa foster uncle. Aisha said; If so-and-so were living i.e. her foster uncle would he be allowed to visit me? Allah Apostle said; Yes; he would; as the foster relations are treated like blood relations in marital affairs. | The Chapter on Premises in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on To give witness concerning lineage foster suckling relations and dead persons in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6388 | Narrated Jabir Bin Abdullah: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Who is willing to kill Kaab Bin AlAshraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle? Thereupon Muhammad Bin Maslama got up saying; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Would you like that I kill him? The Prophet ﷺ said; Yes; Muhammad Bin Maslama said; Then allow me to say a false thing i.e. to deceive Kaab. The Prophet ﷺ said; You may say it. Then Muhammad Bin Maslama went to Kaab and said; That man i.e. Muhammad demands Sadaqa i.e. Zakat from us; and he has troubled us; and I have come to borrow something from you. On that; Kaab said; By Allah; you will get tired of him! Muhammad Bin Maslama said; Now as we have followed him; we do not want to leave him unless and until we see how his end is going to be. Now we want you to lend us a camel load or two of food. Some difference between narrators about a camel load or two. Kaab said; Yes; I will lend you ; but you should mortgage something to me. Muhammad Bin Mas-lama and his companion said; What do you want? Kaab replied; Mortgage your women to me. They said; How can we mortgage our women to you and you are the most handsome of the Arabs? Kaab said; Then mortgage your sons to me. They said; How can we mortgage our sons to you? Later they would be abused by the people saying that so-and-so has been mortgaged for a camel load of food. That would cause us great disgrace; but we will mortgage our arms to you. Muhammad Bin Maslama and his companion promised Kaab that Muhammad would return to him. He came to Kaab at night along with Kaab foster brother; Abu Naila. Kaab invited them to come into his fort; and then he went down to them. His wife asked him; Where are you going at this time? Kaab replied; None but Muhammad Bin Maslama and my foster brother Abu Naila have come. His wife said; I hear a voice as if dropping blood is from him; Kaab said. They are none but my brother Muhammad Bin Maslama and my foster brother Abu Naila. A generous man should respond to a call at night even if invited to be killed. Muhammad Bin Maslama went with two men. Some narrators mention the men as Abu Bin Jabr. AlHarith Bin Aus and Abbad Bin Bishr. So Muhammad Bin Maslama went in together with two men; and sail to them; When Kaab comes; I will touch his hair and smell it; and when you see that I have got hold of his head; strip him. I will let you smell his head. Kaab Bin AlAshraf came down to them wrapped in his clothes; and diffusing perfume. Muhammad Bin Maslama said. have never smelt a better scent than this. Kaab replied. I have got the best Arab women who know how to use the high class of perfume. Muhammad Bin Maslama requested Kaab Will you allow me to smell your head? Kaab said; Yes. Muhammad smelt it and made his companions smell it as well. Then he requested Kaab again; Will you let me smell your head ? Kaab said; Yes. When Muhammad got a strong hold of him; he said to his companions ; Get at him! So they killed him and went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him. Abu Rafi was killed after Kaab Bin AlAshraf. | The Chapter on Food And Camels in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The killing of Kaab Bin AlAshraf in Sahih AlBukhari |
