#Narrated AlMiswar Bin Makhrama and Marwan: whose narrations attest each other Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL set out at the time of AlHudaibiya treaty ; and when they proceeded for a distance; he said; Khalid Bin AlWalid leading the cavalry of Quraish constituting the front of the army; is at a place called AlGhamim; so take the way on the right. By Allah; Khalid did not perceive the arrival of the Muslims till the dust arising from the march of the Muslim army reached him; and then he turned back hurriedly to inform Quraish. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL went on advancing till he reached the Thaniya i.e. a mountainous way through which one would go to them i.e. people of Quraish. The camel of the Prophet SAWSYMBOL sat down. The people tried their best to cause the camel to get up but in vain; so they said; AlQaswa i.e. the camel name has become stubborn! AlQaswa has become stubborn! The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said; AlQaswa has not become stubborn; for stubbornness is not her habit; but she was stopped by Him Who stopped the elephant. Then he said; By the Name of Him in Whose Hands my soul is; if they i.e. the Quraish infidels ask me anything which will respect the ordinances of Allah; I will grant it to them. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL then rebuked the camel and she got up. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL changed his way till he dismounted at the farthest end of AlHudaibiya at a pit i.e. well containing a little water which the people used in small amounts; and in a short while the people used up all its water and complained to Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL ; of thirst. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL took an arrow out of his arrow-case and ordered them to put the arrow in that pit. By Allah; the water started and continued sprouting out till all the people quenched their thirst and returned with satisfaction. While they were still in that state; Budail Bin Warqa AlKhuzai came with some persons from his tribe Khuzaa and they were the advisers of Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL who would keep no secret from him and were from the people of Tihama. Budail said; I left Kaab Bin Louai and Amir Bin Louai residing at the profuse water of AlHudaibiya and they had milch camels or their women and children with them; and will wage war against you; and will prevent you from visiting the Kaba. Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL said; We have not come to fight anyone; but to perform the Umra. No doubt; the war has weakened Quraish and they have suffered great losses; so if they wish; I will conclude a truce with them; during which they should refrain from interfering between me and the people i.e. the Arab infidels other than Quraish ; and if I have victory over those infidels; Quraish will have the option to embrace Islam as the other people do; if they wish; they will at least get strong enough to fight. But if they do not accept the truce; by Allah in Whose Hands my life is; I will fight with them defending my Cause till I get killed; but I am sure Allah will definitely make His Cause victorious. Budail said; I will inform them of what you have said. So; he set off till he reached Quraish and said; We have come from that man i.e. Muhammad whom we heard saying something which we will disclose to you if you should like. Some of the fools among Quraish shouted that they were not in need of this information; but the wiser among them said; Relate what you heard him saying. Budail said; I heard him saying so-and-so; relating what the Prophet SAWSYMBOL had told him. Urwa Bin Masud got up and said; O people! Arent you the sons? They said; Yes. He added; Am I not the father? They said; Yes. He said; Do you mistrust me? They said; No. He said; Dont you know that I invited the people of Ukaz for your help; and when they refused I brought my relatives and children and those who obeyed me to help you ? They said; Yes. He said; Well; this man i.e. the Prophet has offered you a reasonable proposal; youd better accept it and allow me to meet him. They said; You may meet him. So; he went to the Prophet SAWSYMBOL and started talking to him. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL told him almost the same as he had told Budail. Then Urwa said; O Muhammad! Wont you feel any scruple in extirpating your relations? Have you ever heard of anyone amongst the Arabs extirpating his relatives before you? On the other hand; if the reverse should happen; nobody will aid you; for by Allah; I do not see with you dignified people; but people from various tribes who would run away leaving you alone. Hearing that; Abu Bakr abused him and said; Do you say we would run and leave the Prophet SAWSYMBOL alone? Urwa said; Who is that man? They said; He is Abu Bakr. Urwa said to Abu Bakr; By Him in Whose Hands my life is; were it not for the favor which you did to me and which I did not compensate; I would retort on you. Urwa kept on talking to the Prophet SAWSYMBOL and seizing the Prophet beard as he was talking while AlMughira Bin Shuba was standing near the head of the Prophet; holding a sword and wearing a helmet. Whenever Urwa stretched his hand towards the beard of the Prophet; AlMughira would hit his hand with the handle of the sword and say to Urwa ; Remove your hand from the beard of Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL. Urwa raised his head and asked; Who is that? The people said; He is AlMughira Bin Shuba. Urwa said; O treacherous! Am I not doing my best to prevent evil consequences of your treachery? Before embracing Islam AlMughira was in the company of some people. He killed them and took their property and came to Medina to embrace Islam. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said to him; As regards your Islam; I accept it; but as for the property I do not take anything of it. As it was taken through treason. Urwa then started looking at the Companions of the Prophet. By Allah; whenever Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL spat; the spittle would fall in the hand of one of them i.e. the Prophet companions who would rub it on his face and skin; if he ordered them they would carry his orders immediately; if he performed ablution; they would struggle to take the remaining water; and when they spoke to him; they would lower their voices and would not look at his face constantly out of respect. Urwa returned to his people and said; O people! By Allah; I have been to the kings and to Caesar; Khosrau and AlNajashi; yet I have never seen any of them respected by his courtiers as much as Muhammad is respected by his companions. By Allah; if he spat; the spittle would fall in the hand of one of them i.e. the Prophet companions who would rub it on his face and skin; if he ordered them; they would carry out his order immediately; if he performed ablution; they would struggle to take the remaining water; and when they spoke; they would lower their voices and would not look at his face constantly out of respect. Urwa added; No doubt; he has presented to you a good reasonable offer; so please accept it. A man from the tribe of Bani Kinana said; Allow me to go to him; and they allowed him; and when he approached the Prophet and his companions; Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL said; He is so-and-so who belongs to the tribe that respects the Budn i.e. camels of the sacrifice. So; bring the Budn in front of him. So; the Budn were brought before him and the people received him while they were reciting Talbiya. When he saw that scene; he said; Glorified be Allah! It is not fair to prevent these people from visiting the Kaba. When he returned to his people; he said; I saw the Budn garlanded with colored knotted ropes and marked with stabs on their backs. I do not think it is advisable to prevent them from visiting the Kaba. Another person called Mikraz Bin Hafs got up and sought their permission to go to Muhammad; and they allowed him; too. When he approached the Muslims; the Prophet SAWSYMBOL said; Here is Mikraz and he is a vicious man. Mikraz started talking to the Prophet and as he was talking; Suhail Bin Amr came. When Suhail Bin Amr came; the Prophet SAWSYMBOL said; Now the matter has become easy. Suhail said to the Prophet Please conclude a peace treaty with us. So; the Prophet SAWSYMBOL called the clerk and said to him; Write: By the Name of Allah; the most Beneficent; the most Merciful. Suhail said; As for Beneficent; by Allah; I do not know what it means. So write: By Your Name O Allah; as you used to write previously. The Muslims said; By Allah; we will not write except: By the Name of Allah; the most Beneficent; the most Merciful. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said; Write: By Your Name O Allah. Then he dictated; This is the peace treaty which Muhammad; Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL has concluded. Suhail said; By Allah; if we knew that you are Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL we would not prevent you from visiting the Kaba; and would not fight with you. So; write: Muhammad Bin Abdullah. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said; By Allah! I am Apostle of Allah even if you people do not believe me. Write: Muhammad Bin Abdullah. AlZuhri said; The Prophet SAWSYMBOL accepted all those things; as he had already said that he would accept everything they would demand if it respects the ordinance of Allah; i.e. by letting him and his companions perform Umra. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said to Suhail; On the condition that you allow us to visit the House i.e. Kaba so that we may perform Tawaf around it. Suhail said; By Allah; we will not allow you this year so as not to give chance to the Arabs to say that we have yielded to you; but we will allow you next year. So; the Prophet SAWSYMBOL got that written. Then Suhail said; We also stipulate that you should return to us whoever comes to you from us; even if he embraced your religion. The Muslims said; Glorified be Allah! How will such a person be returned to the pagans after he has become a Muslim? While they were in this state Abu Jandal Bin Suhail Bin Amr came from the valley of Mecca staggering with his fetters and fell down amongst the Muslims. Suhail said; O Muhammad! This is the very first term with which we make peace with you; i.e. you shall return Abu Jandal to me. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said; The peace treaty has not been written yet. Suhail said; I will never allow you to keep him. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said; Yes; do. He said; I wont do.: Mikraz said; We allow you to keep him. Abu Jandal said; O Muslims! Will I be returned to the pagans though I have come as a Muslim? Dont you see how much I have suffered? continued... continuing... 1 : -3.891:...... Abu Jandal had been tortured severely for the Cause of Allah. Umar Bin AlKhattab said; I went to the Prophet SAWSYMBOL and said; Arent you truly the Messenger of Allah? The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said; Yes; indeed. I said; Isnt our Cause just and the cause of the enemy unjust? He said; Yes. I said; Then why should we be humble in our religion? He said; I am Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL and I do not disobey Him; and He will make me victorious. I said; Didnt you tell us that we would go to the Kaba and perform Tawaf around it? He said; Yes; but did I tell you that we would visit the Kaba this year? I said; No. He said; So you will visit it and perform Tawaf around it? Umar further said; I went to Abu Bakr and said; O Abu Bakr! Isnt he truly Allah Prophet? He replied; Yes. I said; Then why should we be humble in our religion? He said; Indeed; he is Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL and he does not disobey his Lord; and He will make him victorious. Adhere to him as; by Allah; he is on the right. I said; Was he not telling us that we would go to the Kaba and perform Tawaf around it? He said; Yes; but did he tell you that you would go to the Kaba this year? I said; No. He said; You will go to Kaba and perform Tawaf around it. AlZuhri said; Umar said; I performed many good deeds as expiation for the improper questions I asked them. When the writing of the peace treaty was concluded; Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL said to his companions; Get up and slaughter your sacrifices and get your head shaved. By Allah none of them got up; and the Prophet repeated his order thrice. When none of them got up; he left them and went to Umm Salamah and told her of the people attitudes towards him. Umm Salamah said; O the Prophet SAWSYMBOL of Allah! Do you want your order to be carried out? Go out and dont say a word to anybody till you have slaughtered your sacrifice and call your barber to shave your head. So; the Prophet SAWSYMBOL went out and did not talk to anyone of them till he did that; i.e. slaughtered the sacrifice and called his barber who shaved his head. Seeing that; the companions of the Prophet SAWSYMBOL got up; slaughtered their sacrifices; and started shaving the heads of one another; and there was so much rush that there was a danger of killing each other. Then some believing women came to the Prophet SAWSYMBOL ; and Allah revealed the following Divine Verses:- O you who believe; when the believing women come to you as emigrants examine them... 60.10 Umar then divorced two wives of his who were infidels. Later on Muawiya Bin Abu Sufyan married one of them; and Safwan Bin Umaiya married the other. When the Prophet SAWSYMBOL returned to Medina; Abu Basir; a new Muslim convert from Quraish came to him. The Infidels sent in his pursuit two men who said to the Prophet SAWSYMBOL ; Abide by the promise you gave us. So; the Prophet SAWSYMBOL handed him over to them. They took him out of the City till they reached Dhu AlHulaifa where they dismounted to eat some dates they had with them. Abu Basir said to one of them; By Allah; O so-and-so; I see you have a fine sword. The other drew it out of the scabbard and said; By Allah; it is very fine and I have tried it many times. Abu Basir said; Let me have a look at it. When the other gave it to him; he hit him with it till he died; and his companion ran away till he came to Medina and entered the Masjid running. When Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL saw him he said; This man appears to have been frightened. When he reached the Prophet SAWSYMBOL he said; My companion has been murdered and I would have been murdered too. Abu Basir came and said; O Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL ; by Allah; Allah has made you fulfill your obligations by your returning me to them i.e. the Infidels ; but Allah has saved me from them. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said; Woe to his mother! what excellent war kindler he would be; should he only have supporters. When Abu Basir heard that he understood that the Prophet SAWSYMBOL would return him to them again; so he set off till he reached the seashore. Abu Jandal Bin Suhail got himself released from them i.e. infidels and joined Abu Basir. So; whenever a man from Quraish embraced Islam he would follow Abu Basir till they formed a strong group. By Allah; whenever they heard about a caravan of Quraish heading towards Sham; they stopped it and attacked and killed them i.e. infidels and took their properties. The people of Quraish sent a message to the Prophet SAWSYMBOL requesting him for the Sake of Allah and Kith and kin to send for i.e. Abu Basir and his companions promising that whoever amongst them came to the Prophet SAWSYMBOL would be secure. So the Prophet SAWSYMBOL sent for them i.e. Abu Basir companions and Allah I revealed the following Divine Verses: And it is He Who Has withheld their hands from you and your hands From them in the midst of Mecca; After He made you the victorious over them.... the unbelievers had pride and haughtiness; in their hearts... the pride and haughtiness of the time of ignorance. 48.24-26 And their pride and haughtiness was that they did not confess write in the treaty that he i.e. Muhammad was the Prophet of Allah and refused to write: In the Name of Allah; the most Beneficent; the Most Merciful; and they the mushriks prevented them the Muslims from visiting the House the Kabah. When Allah; the Exalted and Majestic; granted Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL victory over Mecca; he stood before people and praised and extolled Allah and then said: Verily Allah held back the elephants from Mecca and gave the domination of it to His Messenger and believers; and it this territory was not violable to anyone before me and it was made violable to me for an hour of a day; and it shall not be violable to anyone after me. Abbas Allah be pleased with him said: Allah Messenger; but Idhkhir a kind of herbage ; for we use it for our graves and for our houses; whereupon Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL said: With the exception of Idhkhir. I came to Yahya and Eisa; peace be upon them both; and greeted them; and they said: Welcome to you! What an excellent brother and Prophet. Then we came to the third heaven and it was said: Who is this? He said: Jibrail. It was said: Who is with you? He said: Muhammad. And the same exchange took place. He said: O Lord; this young man whom You have sent after me; more of his Ummah will enter Paradise than from my nation; and they will be more virtuous than them. Then we came to the seventh heaven and a similar exchange took place. I came to Ibrahim; SAWSYMBOL ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you! What an excellent son and Prophet. Then I was taken up to the Oft-Frequented House AlBait AlMamur and I asked Jibrail about it; and he said: This is AlBait AlMamur in which seventy thousand angels pray everyday; and when they leave it they never come back. Then I was taken up to Sidrah AlMuntaha the Lote-Tree of the Utmost Boundary. Its fruits were like Qilal [2] of Hajar and its leaves were like the ears of elephants. At its base were four rivers: Two hidden rivers and two manifest rivers. I asked Jibril About them and he said: The two hidden ones are in paradise; and the two manifest ones are the Euphrates and the Nile. Then fifty prayers were enjoined upon me. I came to Mousa and he said: What happened? I said: Fifty prayers have been enjoined upon me. He said: I know more about the people than you. I tried hard with the Children of Israel. Your Ummah will never be able to bear that. Go back to your Lord and ask Him to reduce it for you. So I went back to my Lord and asked Him to reduce it; and He made it forty. Then I went back to Mousa; SAWSYMBOL ; and he said: What happened? I said: He made it forty. He said to me something similar to what he said the first time; so I went back to my Lord and He made it thirty. I came to Mousa; SAWSYMBOL ; and told him; and he said to me something similar to what he said the first time; so I went back to my Lord and he made it twenty; then ten; then five. I came to Mousa; SAWSYMBOL ; and he said to me something like he had said the first time; but I said: I feel too shy before my Lord to go back to Him. #Narrated Abbas Bin Malik: Malik Bin Sasaa said that Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL described to them his Night Journey saying; While I was lying in AlHatim or AlHijr; suddenly someone came to me and cut my body open from here to here. I asked AlJarud who was by my side; What does he mean? He said; It means from his throat to his pubic area; or said; From the top of the chest. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL further said; He then took out my heart. Then a gold tray of Belief was brought to me and my heart was washed and was filled with Belief and then returned to its original place. Then a white animal which was smaller than a mule and bigger than a donkey was brought to me. On this AlJarud asked; Was it the Buraq; O Abu Hamza? I i.e. Anas replied in the affirmative. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said; The animal step was so wide that it reached the farthest point within the reach of the animal sight. I was carried on it; and Gabriel set out with me till we reached the nearest heaven. When he asked for the gate to be opened; it was asked; Who is it? Gabriel answered; Gabriel. It was asked; Who is accompanying you? Gabriel replied; Muhammad. It was asked; Has Muhammad been called? Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said; He is welcomed. What an excellent visit his is! The gate was opened; and when I went over the first heaven; I saw Adam there. Gabriel said to me. This is your father; Adam; pay him your greetings. So I greeted him and he returned the greeting to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious son and pious Prophet. Then Gabriel ascended with me till we reached the second heaven. Gabriel asked for the gate to be opened. It was asked; Who is it? Gabriel answered; Gabriel. It was asked; Who is accompanying you? Gabriel replied; Muhammad. It was asked; Has he been called? Gabriel answered in the affirmative. Then it was said; He is welcomed. What an excellent visit his is! The gate was opened. When I went over the second heaven; there I saw Yahya i.e. John and Isa i.e. Jesus who were cousins of each other. Gabriel said to me ; These are John and Jesus; pay them your greetings. So I greeted them and both of them returned my greetings to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious brother and pious Prophet. Then Gabriel ascended with me to the third heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked; Who is it? Gabriel replied; Gabriel. It was asked; Who is accompanying you? Gabriel replied; Muhammad. It was asked; Has he been called? Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said; He is welcomed; what an excellent visit his is! The gate was opened; and when I went over the third heaven there I saw Joseph. Gabriel said to me ; This is Joseph; pay him your greetings. So I greeted him and he returned the greeting to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious brother and pious Prophet. Then Gabriel ascended with me to the fourth heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked; Who is it? Gabriel replied; Gabriel It was asked; Who is accompanying you? Gabriel replied; Muhammad. It was asked; Has he been called? Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said; He is welcomed; what an excel lent visit his is! So I greeted him and he returned the greeting to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious brother and pious Prophet. Then Gabriel ascended with me to the fifth heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked; Who is it? Gabriel replied; Gabriel. It was asked. Who is accompanying you? Gabriel replied; Muhammad. It was asked; Has he been called? Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said He is welcomed; what an excellent visit his is! Then Gabriel ascended with me to the sixth heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked. Who is it? Gabriel replied; Gabriel. It was asked; Who is accompanying you? Gabriel replied; Muhammad. It was asked; Has he been called? Gabriel replied in the affirmative. It was said; He is welcomed. What an excellent visit his is! When I went over the sixth heaven ; there I saw Moses. Gabriel said to me ; This is Moses; pay him your greeting. So I greeted him and he returned the greetings to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious brother and pious Prophet. When I left him i.e. Moses he wept. Someone asked him; What makes you weep? Moses said; I weep because after me there has been sent as Prophet a young man whose followers will enter Paradise in greater numbers than my followers. Then Gabriel ascended with me to the seventh heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked; Who is it? Gabriel replied; Gabriel. It was asked; Who is accompanying you? Gabriel replied; Muhammad. It was asked; Has he been called? Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said; He is welcomed. What an excellent visit his is! So when I went over the seventh heaven ; there I saw Abraham. Gabriel said to me ; This is your father; pay your greetings to him. So I greeted him and he returned the greetings to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious son and pious Prophet. Then I was made to ascend to Sidrat AlMuntaha i.e. the Lote Tree of the utmost boundary Behold! Its fruits were like the jars of Hajr i.e. a place near Medina and its leaves were as big as the ears of elephants. Gabriel said; This is the Lote Tree of the utmost boundary. Behold ! There ran four rivers; two were hidden and two were visible; I asked; What are these two kinds of rivers; O Gabriel? He replied; As for the hidden rivers; they are two rivers in Paradise and the visible rivers are the Nile and the Euphrates. Then AlBait AlMamur i.e. the Sacred House was shown to me and a container full of wine and another full of milk and a third full of honey were brought to me. I took the milk. Gabriel remarked; This is the Islamic religion which you and your followers are following. Then the prayers were enjoined on me: They were fifty prayers a day. When I returned; I passed by Moses who asked me ; What have you been ordered to do? I replied; I have been ordered to offer fifty prayers a day. Moses said; Your followers cannot bear fifty prayers a day; and by Allah; I have tested people before you; and I have tried my level best with Bani Israel in vain. Go back to your Lord and ask for reduction to lessen your followers burden. So I went back; and Allah reduced ten prayers for me. Then again I came to Moses; but he repeated the same as he had said before. Then again I went back to Allah and He reduced ten more prayers. When I came back to Moses he said the same; I went back to Allah and He ordered me to observe ten prayers a day. When I came back to Moses; he repeated the same advice; so I went back to Allah and was ordered to observe five prayers a day. When I came back to Moses; he said; What have you been ordered? I replied; I have been ordered to observe five prayers a day. He said; Your followers cannot bear five prayers a day; and no doubt; I have got an experience of the people before you; and I have tried my level best with Bani Israel; so go back to your Lord and ask for reduction to lessen your follower burden. I said; I have requested so much of my Lord that I feel ashamed; but I am satisfied now and surrender to Allah Order. When I left; I heard a voice saying; I have passed My Order and have lessened the burden of My Worshipers. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3750

#Narrated Abu Huraira: In the year of the Conquest of Mecca; the tribe of Khuzaa killed a man from the tribe of Bani Laith in revenge for a killed person; belonging to them. They informed the Prophet SAWSYMBOL about it. So he rode his Rahila camel for riding and addressed the people saying; Allah held back the killing from Mecca. The sub-narrator is in doubt whether the Prophet SAWSYMBOL said elephant or killing; as the Arabic words standing for these words have great similarity in shape ; but He Allah let His Apostle and the believers over power the infidels of Mecca. Beware! Mecca is a sanctuary Verily! Fighting in Mecca was not permitted for anyone before me nor will it be permitted for anyone after me. It war in it was made legal for me for few hours or so on that day. No doubt it is at this moment a sanctuary; it is not allowed to uproot its thorny shrubs or to uproot its trees or to pick up its Luqat fallen things except by a person who will look for its owner announce it publicly. And if somebody is killed; then his closest relative has the right to choose one of the two- the blood money Diya or retaliation having the killer killed. In the meantime a man from Yemen came and said; O Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL ! Get that written for me. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL ordered his companions to write that for him. Then a man from Quraish said; Except AlIdhkhir a type of grass that has good smell O Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL ; as we use it in our houses and graves. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said; Except AlIdhkhir i.e. AlIdhkhir is allowed to be plucked. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6168

#Abu Huraira; Allah be pleased with him reported. So neither molest the game; nor weed out thorns from it. And it is not lawful for anyone to pick up a thing dropped but one who makes public announcement of it. And it a relative of anyone is killed he is entitled to opt for one of two things. Either he should be paid blood-money or he can take life as a just retribution. Abbas Allah be pleased with him said: Allah Messenger; but Idhkhir a kind of herbage ; for we use it for our graves and for our houses; whereupon Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL said: With the exception of Idhkhir. A person known as Abu Shah; one of the people of Yemen; stood up and said: Messenger of Allah; kindly write it for me. Thereupon Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL said I Write it for Abu Shah. Walid said: I asked AlAuzai: What did his saying mean: Write it for me; Messenger of Allah? He said: This very address that he had heard from Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL. The gate was opened; and when I went over the fourth heaven; there I saw Idris. Gabriel said to me ; This is Idris; pay him your greetings. So when I went over the fifth heaven; there I saw Harun i.e. Aaron ; Gabriel said; to me. This is Aaron; pay him your greetings. I greeted him and he returned the greeting to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious brother and pious Prophet.

#AlMiswar Bin Makhramah said : The Messenger of Allah SAWSYMBOL came out in the year of AlHudaibbiyah with over ten hundreds of Companions and when he came to Dhu AlHulaifa. He garlanded and marked the sacrificial animals; and entered the sacred state of Umrah. He then went on with the tradition. The Prophet moved on and when he came to the mountain; pass by which one descends to Mecca to them; his riding-beast knelt down; and the people said twice: Go on; go on; AlQaswa has become jaded. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said: She has not become jaded and that is not a characteristic of hers; but He Who restrained the elephant has restrained her. He then said: By Him in Whose hand my soul is; they will not ask any me good thing by which they honor which God has made sacred without my giving them it. He then urged her and she leaped up and he turned Aasi de from them; and stopped at the farthest side of AlHudaibiyah at a pool with little water. Meanwhile Budail Bin Warqa AlKhuzaI came; and Urwah Bin Masud joined him. He began to speak to the Prophet SAWSYMBOL. Whenever he spoke to the Prophet SAWSYMBOL ; he caught his beard. AlMughriah Bin Shubah was standing beside the Prophet SAWSYMBOL.He had a sword with him; wearing a helmet. He AlMughriah struck his Urwahs hand with the lower end of his sheath; and said: Keep away your hand from his beard. Urwah then raised his hand and asked: Who is this? They replied: AlMughirah Bin Shubah. He said: O treacherous one! Did I not use my offices in your treachery? In pre-Islamic days AlMughirah Bin Shubah accompanied some people and murdered them; and took their property. He then came to the Prophet and embraced Islam. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said: As for Islam we accepted it; but as to the property; as it has been taken by treachery; we have no need of it. He went on with the tradition the Prophet SAWSYMBOL said: Write down: This is what Muhammad; the Messenger of Allah; has decided. He then narrated the tradition. Suhail then said: And that a man will not come to you from us; even if he follows your religion; without you sending him back to us. When he finished drawing up the document; the Prophet SAWSYMBOL said to his Companions: Get up and sacrifice and then shave. Thereafter some believing women who were immigrants came. Allah sent down: O yea who believe; when believing women come to you as emigrants. Allah most high forbade them to send them back; but ordered them to restore the dower. He then returned to Medina. Abu Basir a man from the Quraish who was a Muslim ; came to him. And they sent two men to look for him; so he handed him over to the two men. They took him away; and when they reached Dhu AlHulaifa and alighted to eat some dates which they had; Abu Basir said to one of the men : I swear by Allah so-and-so; that I think this sword of yours is a fine one; the other drew the sword and said : Yes I have tried it. Abu Basir said: Let me look at it. He let him have it and he struck him till he died; whereupon the other fled and came to Medina; and running entered the Masjid. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said: This man has seen something frightful. He said: I swear by Allah that my Companion has been killed; and im as good as dead. Abu Basir then arrived and said: Allah has fulfilled your covenant. You returned me to them; but Allah saved me from them. The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said: Woe to his mother; stirrer up of war! Would that he had someone i.e. some kinsfolk. When he heard that he knew that he would send him back to them; so he went out and came to the seashore. Abu Jandal escaped and joined Abu Basir till a band of them collected. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-29812

#Narrated Malik Bin Sasaa: The Prophet SAWSYMBOL said; While I was at the House in a state midway between sleep and wakefulness; an angel recognized me as the man lying between two men. A golden tray full of wisdom and belief was brought to me and my body was cut open from the throat to the lower part of the Abdomen and then my Abdomen was washed with Zamzam water and my heart was filled with wisdom and belief. AlBuraq; a white animal; smaller than a mule and bigger than a donkey was brought to me and I set out with Gabriel. When I reached the nearest heaven. Gabriel said to the heaven gate-keeper; Open the gate. The gatekeeper asked; Who is it? He said; Gabriel. The gate-keeper; Who is accompanying you? Gabriel said; Muhammad. The gate-keeper said; Has he been called? Gabriel said; Yes. Then it was said; He is welcomed. What a wonderful visit his is! Then I met Adam and greeted him and he said; You are welcomed O son and a Prophet. Then we ascended to the second heaven. It was asked; Who is it? Gabriel said; Gabriel. It was said; Who is with you? He said; Muhammad It was asked; Has he been sent for? He said; Yes. It was said; He is welcomed. What a wonderful visit his is! Then I met Jesus and Yahya John who said; You are welcomed; O brother and a Prophet. Then we ascended to the third heaven. It was asked; Who is it? Gabriel said; Gabriel. It was asked; Who is with you? Gabriel said; Muhammad. It was asked; Has he been sent for? Yes; said Gabriel. He is welcomed. What a wonderful visit his is! The Prophet SAWSYMBOL added:. There I met Joseph and greeted him; and he replied; You are welcomed; O brother and a Prophet! Then we ascended to the 4th heaven and again the same questions and answers were exchanged as in the previous heavens. There I met Idris and greeted him. He said; You are welcomed O brother and Prophet. Then we ascended to the 5th heaven and again the same questions and answers were exchanged as in previous heavens. there I met and greeted Aaron who said; You are welcomed O brother and a Prophet. Then we ascended to the 6th heaven and again the same questions and answers were exchanged as in the previous heavens. There I met and greeted Moses who said; You are welcomed O brother and. a Prophet. When I proceeded on; he started weeping and on being asked why he was weeping; he said; O Lord! Followers of this youth who was sent after me will enter Paradise in greater number than my followers. Then we ascended to the seventh heaven and again the same questions and answers were exchanged as in the previous heavens. There I met and greeted Abraham who said; You are welcomed o son and a Prophet. Then I was shown AlBait AlMamur i.e. Allah House. I asked Gabriel about it and he said; This is AlBait AlMamur where 70;000 angels perform prayers daily and when they leave they never return to it but always a fresh batch comes into it daily. Then I was shown Sidrat AlMuntaha i.e. a tree in the seventh heaven and I saw its Nabk fruits which resembled the clay jugs of Hajr i.e. a town in Arabia ; and its leaves were like the ears of elephants; and four rivers originated at its root; two of them were apparent and two were hidden. I asked Gabriel about those rivers and he said; The two hidden rivers are in Paradise; and the apparent ones are the Nile and the Euphrates. Then fifty prayers were enjoined on me. I descended till I met Moses who asked me; What have you done? I said; Fifty prayers have been enjoined on me. He said; I know the people better than you; because I had the hardest experience to bring Bani Israel to obedience. Your followers cannot put up with such obligation. So; return to your Lord and request Him to reduce the number of prayers. I returned and requested Allah for reduction and He made it forty. I returned and met Moses and had a similar discussion; and then returned again to Allah for reduction and He made it thirty; then twenty; then ten; and then I came to Moses who repeated the same advice. Ultimately Allah reduced it to five. When I came to Moses again; he said; What have you done? I said; Allah has made it five only. He repeated the same advice but I said that I surrendered to Allah Final Order Allah Messenger SAWSYMBOL was addressed by Allah; I have decreed My Obligation and have reduced the burden on My slaves; and I shall reward a single good deed as if it were ten good deeds. #It was narrated from Anas Bin Malik; from Malik Bin Sasaah; that the Prophet SAWSYMBOL said: While I was at the Kabah; in a state between sleep and wakefulness; three men came; and one of them who was in the middle came toward me. I was brought a basin of gold; filled with wisdom and faith; and he slit open from the throat to the lower abdomen; and washed the heart with Zamzam water; then - it was filled with wisdom and faith. Then I was brought a riding-beast; smaller than a mule and bigger than a donkey. I set off with Jibril; SAWSYMBOL ; and we came to the lowest heaven. It was said: Who is with you? He said: Muhammad. It was said: Has revelation been sent to him? Welcome to him; what an excellent visit his is. I came to Adam; SAWSYMBOL ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you! What an excellent son and Prophet. Then we came to the second heaven and it was said: Who is this? He said: Jibrail. [1] It was said: Who is with you? he said: Muhammad. And the same exchange took place. I came to Yousif; SAWSYMBOL ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you! What an excellent brother and Prophet. Then we came to the fourth heaven and the same exchange took place. I came to Idris; SAWSYMBOL ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you! What an excellent brother and Prophet. Then we came to the fifth heaven and the same exchange took place. I came to Harun; SAWSYMBOL ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you! What an excellent brother and Prophet. Then we came to the sixth heaven and the same exchange took place. I came to Mousa; SAWSYMBOL ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you! What an excellent brother and Prophet. What I passed him; he wept; and it was said: Why are you weeping? Then it was called out: I have decreed the reward for My obligation; and I have reduced the burden for My slaves and I will give a ten-fold reward for each good deed.[1] It is like this here; while it is Jibrail the first time it appears in this narration; and Jibrail is often used in the Hadith literature.[2] Plural of Qullah SunanAlNasai-017-001-11603

 1. Narrated AlMiswar Bin Makhrama and Marwan: whose narrations attest each other Allah Messenger ﷺ set out at the time of AlHudaibiya treaty ; and when they proceeded for a distance; he said; Khalid Bin AlWalid leading the cavalry of Quraish constituting the front of the army; is at a place called AlGhamim; so take the way on the right. By Allah; Khalid did not perceive the arrival of the Muslims till the dust arising from the march of the Muslim army reached him; and then he turned back hurriedly to inform Quraish. The Prophet ﷺ went on advancing till he reached the Thaniya i.e. a mountainous way through which one would go to them i.e. people of Quraish. The camel of the Prophet ﷺ sat down. The people tried their best to cause the camel to get up but in vain; so they said; AlQaswa i.e. the camel name has become stubborn! AlQaswa has become stubborn! The Prophet ﷺ said; AlQaswa has not become stubborn; for stubbornness is not her habit; but she was stopped by Him Who stopped the elephant. Then he said; By the Name of Him in Whose Hands my soul is; if they i.e. the Quraish infidels ask me anything which will respect the ordinances of Allah; I will grant it to them. The Prophet ﷺ then rebuked the camel and she got up. The Prophet ﷺ changed his way till he dismounted at the farthest end of AlHudaibiya at a pit i.e. well containing a little water which the people used in small amounts; and in a short while the people used up all its water and complained to Allah Messenger ﷺ ; of thirst. The Prophet ﷺ took an arrow out of his arrow-case and ordered them to put the arrow in that pit. By Allah; the water started and continued sprouting out till all the people quenched their thirst and returned with satisfaction. While they were still in that state; Budail Bin Warqa AlKhuzai came with some persons from his tribe Khuzaa and they were the advisers of Allah Messenger ﷺ who would keep no secret from him and were from the people of Tihama. Budail said; I left Kaab Bin Louai and Amir Bin Louai residing at the profuse water of AlHudaibiya and they had milch camels or their women and children with them; and will wage war against you; and will prevent you from visiting the Kaba. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; We have not come to fight anyone; but to perform the Umra. Budail said; I heard him saying so-and-so; relating what the Prophet ﷺ had told him. So; he went to the Prophet ﷺ and started talking to him. The Prophet ﷺ told him almost the same as he had told Budail. Hearing that; Abu Bakr abused him and said; Do you say we would run and leave the Prophet ﷺ alone? Urwa said; Who is that man? They said; He is Abu Bakr. Urwa said to Abu Bakr; By Him in Whose Hands my life is; were it not for the favor which you did to me and which I did not compensate; I would retort on you. Urwa kept on talking to the Prophet ﷺ and seizing the Prophet beard as he was talking while AlMughira Bin Shuba was standing near the head of the Prophet; holding a sword and wearing a helmet. Whenever Urwa stretched his hand towards the beard of the Prophet; AlMughira would hit his hand with the handle of the sword and say to Urwa ; Remove your hand from the beard of Allah Messenger ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ said to him; As regards your Islam; I accept it; but as for the property I do not take anything of it. As it was taken through treason. Urwa then started looking at the Companions of the Prophet. By Allah; whenever Allah Messenger ﷺ spat; the spittle would fall in the hand of one of them i.e. the Prophet companions who would rub it on his face and skin; if he ordered them they would carry his orders immediately; if he performed ablution; they would struggle to take the remaining water; and when they spoke to him; they would lower their voices and would not look at his face constantly out of respect. A man from the tribe of Bani Kinana said; Allow me to go to him; and they allowed him; and when he approached the Prophet and his companions; Allah Messenger ﷺ said; He is so-and-so who belongs to the tribe that respects the Budn i.e. camels of the sacrifice. When he approached the Muslims; the Prophet ﷺ said; Here is Mikraz and he is a vicious man. Mikraz started talking to the Prophet and as he was talking; Suhail Bin Amr came. When Suhail Bin Amr came; the Prophet ﷺ said; Now the matter has become easy. Suhail said to the Prophet Please conclude a peace treaty with us. So; the Prophet ﷺ called the clerk and said to him; Write: By the Name of Allah; the most Beneficent; the most Merciful. Suhail said; As for Beneficent; by Allah; I do not know what it means. So write: By Your Name O Allah; as you used to write previously. The Muslims said; By Allah; we will not write except: By the Name of Allah; the most Beneficent; the most Merciful. The Prophet ﷺ said; Write: By Your Name O Allah. Then he dictated; This is the peace treaty which Muhammad; Allah Messenger ﷺ has concluded. Suhail said; By Allah; if we knew that you are Allah Messenger ﷺ we would not prevent you from visiting the Kaba; and would not fight with you. So; write: Muhammad Bin Abdullah. The Prophet ﷺ said; By Allah! I am Apostle of Allah even if you people do not believe me. Write: Muhammad Bin Abdullah. AlZuhri said; The Prophet ﷺ accepted all those things; as he had already said that he would accept everything they would demand if it respects the ordinance of Allah; i.e. by letting him and his companions perform Umra. The Prophet ﷺ said to Suhail; On the condition that you allow us to visit the House i.e. Kaba so that we may perform Tawaf around it. Suhail said; By Allah; we will not allow you this year so as not to give chance to the Arabs to say that we have yielded to you; but we will allow you next year. So; the Prophet ﷺ got that written. The Prophet ﷺ said; The peace treaty has not been written yet. Suhail said; I will never allow you to keep him. The Prophet ﷺ said; Yes; do. Umar Bin AlKhattab said; I went to the Prophet ﷺ and said; Arent you truly the Messenger of Allah? The Prophet ﷺ said; Yes; indeed. I said; Isnt our Cause just and the cause of the enemy unjust? He said; Yes. I said; Then why should we be humble in our religion? He said; I am Allah Messenger ﷺ and I do not disobey Him; and He will make me victorious. He said; Indeed; he is Allah Messenger ﷺ and he does not disobey his Lord; and He will make him victorious. When the writing of the peace treaty was concluded; Allah Messenger ﷺ said to his companions; Get up and slaughter your sacrifices and get your head shaved. By Allah none of them got up; and the Prophet repeated his order thrice. When none of them got up; he left them and went to Umm Salamah and told her of the people attitudes towards him. Umm Salamah said; O the Prophet ﷺ of Allah! Do you want your order to be carried out? Go out and dont say a word to anybody till you have slaughtered your sacrifice and call your barber to shave your head. So; the Prophet ﷺ went out and did not talk to anyone of them till he did that; i.e. slaughtered the sacrifice and called his barber who shaved his head. Seeing that; the companions of the Prophet ﷺ got up; slaughtered their sacrifices; and started shaving the heads of one another; and there was so much rush that there was a danger of killing each other. Then some believing women came to the Prophet ﷺ ; and Allah revealed the following Divine Verses:- O you who believe; when the believing women come to you as emigrants examine them... 60.10 Umar then divorced two wives of his who were infidels. Later on Muawiya Bin Abu Sufyan married one of them; and Safwan Bin Umaiya married the other. When the Prophet ﷺ returned to Medina; Abu Basir; a new Muslim convert from Quraish came to him. The Infidels sent in his pursuit two men who said to the Prophet ﷺ ; Abide by the promise you gave us. So; the Prophet ﷺ handed him over to them. When Allah Messenger ﷺ saw him he said; This man appears to have been frightened. When he reached the Prophet ﷺ he said; My companion has been murdered and I would have been murdered too. Abu Basir came and said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ; by Allah; Allah has made you fulfill your obligations by your returning me to them i.e. the Infidels ; but Allah has saved me from them. The Prophet ﷺ said; Woe to his mother! what excellent war kindler he would be; should he only have supporters. When Abu Basir heard that he understood that the Prophet ﷺ would return him to them again; so he set off till he reached the seashore. The people of Quraish sent a message to the Prophet ﷺ requesting him for the Sake of Allah and Kith and kin to send for i.e. Abu Basir and his companions promising that whoever amongst them came to the Prophet ﷺ would be secure. So the Prophet ﷺ sent for them i.e. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4117
 2. Abu Huraira; Allah be pleased with him reported. When Allah; the Exalted and Majestic; granted Allah Messenger ﷺ victory over Mecca; he stood before people and praised and extolled Allah and then said: Verily Allah held back the elephants from Mecca and gave the domination of it to His Messenger and believers; and it this territory was not violable to anyone before me and it was made violable to me for an hour of a day; and it shall not be violable to anyone after me. Abbas Allah be pleased with him said: Allah Messenger; but Idhkhir a kind of herbage ; for we use it for our graves and for our houses; whereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said: With the exception of Idhkhir. A person known as Abu Shah; one of the people of Yemen; stood up and said: Messenger of Allah; kindly write it for me. Thereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said I Write it for Abu Shah. Walid said: I asked AlAuzai: What did his saying mean: Write it for me; Messenger of Allah? He said: This very address that he had heard from Allah Messenger ﷺ. SahihMuslim-017-001-23217

I set off with Jibril; ﷺ ; and we came to the lowest heaven. It was said: Who is with you? He said: Muhammad. He said: O Lord; this young man whom You have sent after me; more of his Ummah will enter Paradise than from my nation; and they will be more virtuous than them. Then we came to the seventh heaven and a similar exchange took place. I came to Ibrahim; ﷺ ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you! Then I went back to Mousa; ﷺ ; and he said: What happened? I said: He made it forty. He said to me something similar to what he said the first time; so I went back to my Lord and He made it thirty. I came to Mousa; ﷺ ; and told him; and he said to me something similar to what he said the first time; so I went back to my Lord and he made it twenty; then ten; then five. I came to Mousa; ﷺ ; and he said to me something like he had said the first time; but I said: I feel too shy before my Lord to go back to Him.
 4. It is narrated on the authority of Anas Bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I was brought AlBuraq Who is an animal white and long; larger than a donkey but smaller than a mule; who would place his hoof a distance equal to the range of version. I mounted it and came to the Temple Bait Maqdis in Jerusalem ; then tethered it to the ring used by the prophets. I entered the Masjid and prayed two rakahs in it; and then came out and Gabriel brought me a vessel of wine and a vessel of milk. I chose the milk; and Gabriel said: You have chosen the natural thing. Then he took me to heaven. Gabriel then asked the gate of heaven to be opened and he was asked who he was. He replied: Gabriel. He was again asked: Who is with you? He Gabriel said: Muhammad. It was said: Has he been sent for? Gabriel replied: He has indeed been sent for. And the door of the heaven was opened for us and lo! we saw Adam. He welcomed me and prayed for my good. Then we ascended to the second heaven. Gabriel ﷺ asked the door of heaven to be opened ; and he was asked who he was. He answered: Gabriel; and was again asked: Who is with you? He replied: Muhammad. It was said: Has he been sent for? He replied: He has indeed been sent for. The gate was opened. When I entered Isa Bin Maryam and Yahya Bin Zakariya peace be upon both of them ; cousins from the maternal side. welcomed me and prayed for my good Then I was taken to the third heaven and Gabriel asked for the opening of the door. He was asked: Who are you? He replied: Gabriel. He was again asked: Who is with you? He replied Muhammad ﷺ. It was said: Has he been sent for? He replied He has indeed been sent for. The gate was opened for us and I saw Yousif peace of Allah be upon him who had been given half of world beauty. He welcomed me prayed for my well-being. Then he ascended with us to the fourth heaven. Gabriel ﷺ asked for the gate to be opened; and it was said: Who is he? He replied: Gabriel. It was again said: Who is with you? He said: Muhammad. It was said: Has he been sent for? He replied: He has indeed been sent for. The gate was opened for us; and lo! Idris was there. He welcomed me and prayed for my well-being About him Allah; the Exalted and the Glorious; has said: We elevated him Idris to the exalted position Quran xix. 57. Then he ascended with us to the fifth heaven and Gabriel asked for the gate to be opened. It was said: Who is he? He replied Gabriel. It was again said: Who is with thee? He replied: Muhammad. It was said Has he been sent for? He replied: He has indeed been sent for. The gate was opened for us and then I was with Harun Aaron-peace of Allah be upon him. He welcomed me prayed for my well-being. Then I was taken to the sixth heaven. Gabriel ﷺ asked for the door to be opened. It was said: Who is he? He replied: Gabriel. It was said: Who is with thee? He replied: Muhammad. It was said: Has he been sent for? He replied: He has indeed been sent for. The gate was opened for us and there I was with Mousa Moses ﷺ He welcomed me and prayed for my well-being. Then I was taken up to the seventh heaven. Gabriel asked the gate to be opened. It was said: Who is he? He said: Gabriel It was said. Who is with thee? He replied: Muhammad ﷺ. It was said: Has he been sent for? He replied: He has indeed been sent for. The gate was opened for us and there I found Ibrahim Abraham ﷺ reclining against the Bait AlMamur and there enter into it seventy thousand angels every day; never to visit this place again. Then I was taken to Sidrat AlMuntaha whose leaves were like elephant ears and its fruit like big earthenware vessels. And when it was covered by the Command of Allah; it underwent such a change that none amongst the creation has the power to praise its beauty. Then Allah revealed to me a revelation and He made obligatory for me fifty prayers every day and night. Then I went down to Moses ﷺ and he said: What has your Lord enjoined upon your Ummah? I said: Fifty prayers. He said: Return to thy Lord and beg for reduction in the number of prayers ; for your community shallnot be able to bear this burden. as I have put to test the children of Israil and tried them and found them too weak to bear such a heavy burden. He the Holy Prophet said: I went back to my Lord and said: My Lord; make things lighter for my Ummah. The Lord reduced five prayers for me. I went down to Moses and said. The Lord reduced five prayers for me; He said: Verily thy Ummah shall not be able to bear this burden; return to thy Lord and ask Him to make things lighter. I then kept going back and forth between my Lord Blessed and Exalted and Moses; till He said: There are five prayers every day and night. O Muhammad; each being credited as ten; so that makes fifty prayers. He who intends to do a good deed and does not do it will have a good deed recorded for him; and if he does it; it will be recorded for him as ten; whereas he who intends to do an evil deed and does not do; it will not be recorded for him; and if he does it; only one evil deed will be recorded. I then came down and when I came to Moses and informed him; he said: Go back to thy Lord and ask Him to make things lighter. Upon this the Messenger of Allah remarked: I returned to my Lord until I felt ashamed before Him. SahihMuslim-017-001-18700
 5. Narrated Abbas Bin Malik: Malik Bin Sasaa said that Allah Messenger ﷺ described to them his Night Journey saying; While I was lying in AlHatim or AlHijr; suddenly someone came to me and cut my body open from here to here. I asked AlJarud who was by my side; What does he mean? He said; It means from his throat to his pubic area; or said; From the top of the chest. The Prophet ﷺ further said; He then took out my heart. The Prophet ﷺ said; The animal step was so wide that it reached the farthest point within the reach of the animal sight. The gate was opened; and when I went over the fourth heaven; there I saw Idris. Gabriel said to me ; This is Idris; pay him your greetings. So when I went over the fifth heaven; there I saw Harun i.e. Aaron ; Gabriel said; to me. This is Aaron; pay him your greetings. I greeted him and he returned the greeting to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious brother and pious Prophet.

 2. Budail said; I heard him saying so-and-so; relating what the Prophet ﷺ had told him. So; he went to the Prophet ﷺ and started talking to him. The Prophet ﷺ told him almost the same as he had told Budail. The Prophet ﷺ said; The peace treaty has not been written yet. Suhail said; I will never allow you to keep him. The Prophet ﷺ said; Yes; do. He said; Indeed; he is Allah Messenger ﷺ and he does not disobey his Lord; and He will make him victorious. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4117
 3. Narrated Abu Huraira: In the year of the Conquest of Mecca; the tribe of Khuzaa killed a man from the tribe of Bani Laith in revenge for a killed person; belonging to them. They informed the Prophet ﷺ about it. So he rode his Rahila camel for riding and addressed the people saying; Allah held back the killing from Mecca. The sub-narrator is in doubt whether the Prophet ﷺ said elephant or killing; as the Arabic words standing for these words have great similarity in shape ; but He Allah let His Apostle and the believers over power the infidels of Mecca. In the meantime a man from Yemen came and said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Get that written for me. The Prophet ﷺ ordered his companions to write that for him. Then a man from Quraish said; Except AlIdhkhir a type of grass that has good smell O Allah Messenger ﷺ ; as we use it in our houses and graves. The Prophet ﷺ said; Except AlIdhkhir i.e. AlIdhkhir is allowed to be plucked. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6168
 5. Narrated Abu Huraira: In the year of the Conquest of Mecca; the tribe of Khuzaa killed a man from the tribe of Bam Laith in revenge for a killed person belonging to them in the Pre-lslamic Period of Ignorance. So Allah Apostle got up saying; Allah held back the army having elephants from Mecca; but He let His Apostle and the believers overpower the infidels of Mecca. Beware! Mecca is a sanctuary ! Verily! Fighting in Mecca was not permitted for anybody before me; nor will it be permitted for anybody after me; It was permitted for me only for a while an hour or so of that day. No doubt! It is at this moment a sanctuary; its thorny shrubs should not be uprooted; its trees should not be cut down; and its Luqata fallen things should not be picked up except by the one who would look for its owner. And if somebody is killed; his closest relative has the right to choose one of two things; i.e.; either the Blood money or retaliation by having the killer killed. Then a man from Yemen; called Abu Shah; stood up and said; Write that for me; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Allah Messenger ﷺ said to his companions ; Write that for Abu Shah. Then another man from Quraish got up; saying; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Except AlIdhkhir a special kind of grass as we use it in our houses and for graves. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Except Alidhkkir. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1744
 6. The Prophet ﷺ said; The animal step was so wide that it reached the farthest point within the reach of the animal sight. The gate was opened; and when I went over the fourth heaven; there I saw Idris. Gabriel said to me ; This is Idris; pay him your greetings. So when I went over the fifth heaven; there I saw Harun i.e. Aaron ; Gabriel said; to me. This is Aaron; pay him your greetings. I greeted him and he returned the greeting to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious brother and pious Prophet.
 7. AlMiswar Bin Makhramah said : The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out in the year of AlHudaibbiyah with over ten hundreds of Companions and when he came to Dhu AlHulaifa. The Prophet ﷺ said: She has not become jaded and that is not a characteristic of hers; but He Who restrained the elephant has restrained her. He began to speak to the Prophet ﷺ. Whenever he spoke to the Prophet ﷺ ; he caught his beard. AlMughriah Bin Shubah was standing beside the Prophet ﷺ.He had a sword with him; wearing a helmet. The Prophet ﷺ said: As for Islam we accepted it; but as to the property; as it has been taken by treachery; we have no need of it. He went on with the tradition the Prophet ﷺ said: Write down: This is what Muhammad; the Messenger of Allah; has decided. He then narrated the tradition. Suhail then said: And that a man will not come to you from us; even if he follows your religion; without you sending him back to us. When he finished drawing up the document; the Prophet ﷺ said to his Companions: Get up and sacrifice and then shave. The Prophet ﷺ said: This man has seen something frightful. He said: I swear by Allah that my Companion has been killed; and im as good as dead. Abu Basir then arrived and said: Allah has fulfilled your covenant. You returned me to them; but Allah saved me from them. The Prophet ﷺ said: Woe to his mother; stirrer up of war! Would that he had someone i.e. some kinsfolk. When he heard that he knew that he would send him back to them; so he went out and came to the seashore. Abu Jandal escaped and joined Abu Basir till a band of them collected. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-29812
 8. Narrated Malik Bin Sasaa: The Prophet ﷺ said; While I was at the House in a state midway between sleep and wakefulness; an angel recognized me as the man lying between two men. The Prophet ﷺ added:. He repeated the same advice but I said that I surrendered to Allah Final Order Allah Messenger ﷺ was addressed by Allah; I have decreed My Obligation and have reduced the burden on My slaves; and I shall reward a single good deed as if it were ten good deeds. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4294
 9. It was narrated from Anas Bin Malik; from Malik Bin Sasaah; that the Prophet ﷺ said: While I was at the Kabah; in a state between sleep and wakefulness; three men came; and one of them who was in the middle came toward me. I set off with Jibril; ﷺ ; and we came to the lowest heaven. It was said: Who is with you? He said: Muhammad. It was said: Has revelation been sent to him? Welcome to him; what an excellent visit his is. I came to Adam; ﷺ ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you! What an excellent son and Prophet. Then we came to the second heaven and it was said: Who is this? He said: Jibrail. [1] It was said: Who is with you? he said: Muhammad. And the same exchange took place. I came to Yousif; ﷺ ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you! What an excellent brother and Prophet. Then we came to the fourth heaven and the same exchange took place. I came to Idris; ﷺ ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you! What an excellent brother and Prophet. Then we came to the fifth heaven and the same exchange took place. I came to Harun; ﷺ ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you! What an excellent brother and Prophet. Then we came to the sixth heaven and the same exchange took place. I came to Mousa; ﷺ ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you! What an excellent brother and Prophet. What I passed him; he wept; and it was said: Why are you weeping? He said: O Lord; this young man whom You have sent after me; more of his Ummah will enter Paradise than from my nation; and they will be more virtuous than them. Then we came to the seventh heaven and a similar exchange took place. I came to Ibrahim; ﷺ ; and greeted him; and he said: Welcome to you!
