He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray afternoon prayer in the midday heat; the afternoon prayer when the sun was bright; the evening prayer when the sun had completely set; and as for the night prayer; he sometimes delayed and sometimes observed it at earlier hours.   Muhammad Bin Amr Bin Ata narrated from Abu Humaid AlSaidi; : he Muhammad said: I heard him saying - while he was among ten of the Companions of the Prophet; one of whom was Abu Qatadah Bin Ribi - I am the most knowledgeable among you of the Prayer of the Allah Messenger. They said: You did not precede us in his companionship; nor were you in his company more than us. He said: Even still. They said: Go ahead. So he said: When Allah Messenger stood for Prayer he would stand with his back straight and raise his hands until they were at the level of his shoulder. Then he would say: Allahu Akbar Allah is Most Great and bow. Then he would straighten his back so that he would not lower his head; nor raise it; and he placed his hands on his knees. Then he said: Sami Allahu liman hamidah Allah listens to those who praise Him. And he raised his hands and stood up straight until all of his bones completely returned to their places. Then he went down to the ground prostrating; then he said: Allahu Akbar Allah is Most Great. Then he held his upper arms away from his midsection; and opened his toes on his feet facing the Qiblah ; then he bend his left foot and sat on it then straightened up until all of his bones completely returned to their placed; then he went down to prostrate. Then he said: Allahu Akbar Allah is Most Great; then he bent his foot and sat and straightened up until all of his bones completely returned to their places. Then he got up. Then in the second Rakah he did the same as that; such that when he stood from the two prostrations; he sad the Takbir and raised his hands until they were at the level of his shoulders as he did when he opened the Prayer. They said: Why? By Allah; you did not follow him more than we did; and you did not accompany him for longer. He said: Yes I am. They said: Show us. He said: When the Messenger of Allah stood up for prayer; he would say the Takbir; then he would raise his hands parallel to his shoulders; and every part of his body would settle in place. Then he would recite; then he would raise his hands parallel to his shoulders and bow; placing his palms on his knees and supporting his weight on them. He neither lowered his head; nor raised it up; it was evenly balanced between either extreme. Then he would say: Sami Allahu liman hamidah Allah hears those who praise Him ; and he would raise his hands parallel with his shoulders; until every bone returned to its place. Then he would prostrate himself on the ground; keeping his arms away from his sides. Then he would raise his head and tuck his left foot under him and sit on it; and he would spread his toes when he prostrated.* Then he would prostrate; then say the Takbir and sit on his left foot; until every bone returned to its place. Then he would stand up and do the same in the next Rakah. Then when he stood up after two Rakah; he would raise his hands level with his shoulders as he did at the beginning of the prayer.   Muhammad Bin Jubair Bin Mutim said from his father on the authority of his grandfather: An Arab a nomadic Arab came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: People suffering distress; the children are hungry; the crops are withered; and the animals are perished; so ask Allah to grant us rain; for we seek you as our intercessor with Allah; and Allah as intercessor with you. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Woe to you: Do you know what you are saying? Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared Allahs glory and he continued declaring His glory till the effect of that was apparent in the faces of his Companions. He then said: Woe to you: Allah is not to be sought as intercessor with anyone. Allahs state is greater than that. Woe to you! Do you know how great Allah is? His throne is above the heavens thus indicating with his fingers like a dome over him ; and it groans on account of Him as a saddle does because of the rider Ibn Bashshar said in his version: Allah is above the throne; and the throne is above the heavens. He then mentioned the rest of the tradition. Abd AlAla; Ibn AlMuthana and Ibn Bashshar transmitted it from Yaqub Bin Utbah and Jubair Bin Muhammad Bin Jubair from his father on the authority of his grandfather.Abu Dawud said: This tradition with the chain of Ahmad Bin Saad is sound. It has been approved by the body of traditionists ; which includes Yahya Bin Main and Ali Bin AlMadani; and a group has transmitted it from Ibn Ishaq; as Ahmad also said. And so far as I have been informed Abd AlAla; Ibn AlMuthanna; and Ibn Bashshar had heard from the same copy of the collection of tradition.

I was severely hungry; and if there was food in the house of the Messenger of Allah s.a.w I would have eaten some of it. I went in search of something. I passed by a Jew on his property drawing water from a well with a pulley. I watched him from a gap in the fence. He said: what is wrong with you O Arab1 Would you like to get a date for every bucket? I said: Yes. Open the door so I can come in. He opened the door; I entered and he gave me his bucket. Then for every bucket I pulled out; he would give me a date; until when it was enough for me. I put his bucket down and said: I think I had enough to eat then I scooped some water to drink it. Then I came to the Masjid and found the Messenger of Allah s.a.w in it.

I covered my head; put on my veil and tightened my waist wrapper; and then went out following his steps till he reached Baqi. He stood there and he stood for a long time. He then lifted his hands three times; and then returned and I also returned. He hastened his steps and I also hastened my steps. He ran and I too ran. He came to the house and I also came to the house.   Muhammad Bin Sulaim narrated: Thabit AlBunani narrated to me; he said to me: O Muhammad; when you suffer from some ailment; then place your hand at the place of the ailment; then say: In the Name of Allah; I seek refuge in Allahs might and power from the evil of this pain I feel Bismillah; audhu bi-izzatillahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu min wajai hadha. Then lift your hand and repeat that an odd number of times. For indeed; Anas Bin Malik narrated to me; that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ narrated that to him.
