Allah Messenger ﷺ recited Qunut after bowing for a period of one month. Anas added; The Prophet ﷺ sent about seventy men who knew the Quran by heart towards the pagans of Najd who were less than they in number and there was a peace treaty between them and Allah Messenger ﷺ but the Pagans broke the treaty and killed the seventy men. - Narrated Abaya Bin Rafaa Bin Raft Bin Khad … Narrated Abaya Bin Rafaa Bin Raft Bin Khadij: My grandfather said; We were in the company of the Prophet ﷺ at Dhu AlHulaifa. The people felt hungry and captured some camels and sheep as booty. The Prophet ﷺ was behind the people. They hurried and slaughtered the animals and put their meat in pots and started cooking it. When the Prophet came he ordered the pots to be upset and then he distributed the animals of the booty ; regarding ten sheep as equal to one camel. One of the camels fled and the people ran after it till they were exhausted. At that time there were few horses. A man threw an arrow at the camel; and Allah stopped the camel with it. The Prophet ﷺ said; Some of these animals are like wild animals; so if you lose control over one of these animals; treat it in this way i.e. shoot it with an arrow. Before distributing them among the soldiers my grandfather said; We may meet the enemies in the future and have no knives; can we slaughter the animals with reeds? The Prophet ﷺ said; Use whatever causes blood to flow; and eat the animals if the name of Allah has been mentioned on slaughtering them. Do not slaughter with teeth or fingernails and I will tell you why: It is because teeth are bones i.e. cannot cut properly and fingernails are the tools used by the Ethiopians whom we should not imitate for they are infidels.should not imitate for they are infidels. +

We got some camels and sheep as booty and the Prophet ﷺ was still behind the people. They hurried and put the cooking pots on the fire. When he came he ordered that the cooking pots should be upset and then he distributed the booty amongst the people regarding ten sheep as equal to one camel then a camel fled and the people chased it till they got tired; as they had a few horses for chasing it. So a man threw an arrow at it and caused it to stop with Allah Permission. On that the Prophet ﷺ said; Some of these animals behave like wild beasts; so; if any animal flee from you; deal with it in the same way. My grandfather asked the Prophet ﷺ ; We hope or are afraid that we may meet the enemy tomorrow and we have no knives. Can we slaughter our animals with canes? Allah Messenger ﷺ replied; If the instrument used for killing causes the animal to bleed profusely and if Allah Name is mentioned on killing it; then eat its meat i.e. it is lawful but wont use a tooth or a nail and I am telling you the reason: A tooth is a bone and slaughtering with a bone is forbidden ; and a nail is the slaughtering instrument of the Ethiopians.slaughtering instrument of the Ethiopians. +
- Narrated Abaya Bin Rifaa: My grandfather; … Narrated Abaya Bin Rifaa: My grandfather; Rafi Bin Khadeej said; We were in the valley of Dhu AlHulaifa of Tuhama in the company of the Prophet ﷺ and had some camels and sheep of the booty. The people hurried in slaughtering the animals and put their meat in the pots and started cooking. Allah Messenger ﷺ came and ordered them to upset the pots; and distributed the booty considering one camel as equal to ten sheep. One of the camels fled and the people had only a few horses; so they got worried. The camel was chased and a man slopped the camel by throwing an arrow at it. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Some of these animals are untamed like wild animals; so if anyone of them went out of your control; then you should treat it as you have done now. My grandfather said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! We fear that we may meet our enemy tomorrow and we have no knives; could we slaughter the animals with reeds? The Prophet ﷺ said; Yes; or you can use what would make blood flow slaughter and you can eat what is slaughtered and the Name of Allah is mentioned at the time of slaughtering. But dont use teeth or fingernails in slaughtering. I will tell you why; as for teeth; they are bones; and fingernails are used by Ethiopians for slaughtering. The Prophet ﷺ said; The animal step was so wide that it reached the farthest point within the reach of the animal sight. I was carried on it; and Gabriel set out with me till we reached the nearest heaven. When he asked for the gate to be opened; it was asked; Who is it? Gabriel answered; Gabriel. It was asked; Who is accompanying you? Gabriel replied; Muhammad. It was asked; Has Muhammad been called? Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said; He is welcomed. What an excellent visit his is! The gate was opened; and when I went over the first heaven; I saw Adam there. Gabriel said to me. This is your father; Adam; pay him your greetings. So I greeted him and he returned the greeting to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious son and pious Prophet. Then Gabriel ascended with me till we reached the second heaven. Gabriel asked for the gate to be opened. It was asked; Who is it? Gabriel answered; Gabriel. It was asked; Who is accompanying you? Gabriel replied; Muhammad. It was asked; Has he been called? Gabriel answered in the affirmative. Then it was said; He is welcomed. What an excellent visit his is! The gate was opened. When I went over the second heaven; there I saw Yahya i.e. John and Isa i.e. Jesus who were cousins of each other. Gabriel said to me ; These are John and Jesus; pay them your greetings. So I greeted them and both of them returned my greetings to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious brother and pious Prophet. Then Gabriel ascended with me to the third heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked; Who is it? Gabriel replied; Gabriel. It was asked; Who is accompanying you? Then Gabriel ascended with me to the fourth heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked; Who is it? Gabriel replied; Gabriel It was asked; Who is accompanying you? So when I went over the fifth heaven; there I saw Harun i.e. Aaron ; Gabriel said; to me. This is Aaron; pay him your greetings. I greeted him and he returned the greeting to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious brother and pious Prophet. Then Gabriel ascended with me to the sixth heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked. Who is it? Gabriel replied; Gabriel. It was asked; Who is accompanying you? Gabriel replied; Muhammad. It was asked; Has he been called? Gabriel replied in the affirmative. It was said; He is welcomed. What an excellent visit his is! When I went over the sixth heaven ; there I saw Moses. Gabriel said to me ; This is Moses; pay him your greeting. So I greeted him and he returned the greetings to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious brother and pious Prophet. When I left him i.e. Moses he wept. Someone asked him; What makes you weep? Moses said; I weep because after me there has been sent as Prophet a young man whose followers will enter Paradise in greater numbers than my followers. Then Gabriel ascended with me to the seventh heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked; Who is it? Gabriel replied; Gabriel. It was asked; Who is accompanying you? Gabriel replied; Muhammad. It was asked; Has he been called? Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said; He is welcomed. What an excellent visit his is! So when I went over the seventh heaven ; there I saw Abraham. Gabriel said to me ; This is your father; pay your greetings to him. So I greeted him and he returned the greetings to me and said; You are welcomed; O pious son and pious Prophet. Then I was made to ascend to Sidrat AlMuntaha i.e. the Lote Tree of the utmost boundary Behold! Its fruits were like the jars of Hajr i.e. a place near Medina and its leaves were as big as the ears of elephants. Gabriel said; This is the Lote Tree of the utmost boundary. Behold ! There ran four rivers; two were hidden and two were visible; I asked; What are these two kinds of rivers; O Gabriel? He replied; As for the hidden rivers; they are two rivers in Paradise and the visible rivers are the Nile and the Euphrates. Then AlBait AlMamur i.e. the Sacred House was shown to me and a container full of wine and another full of milk and a third full of honey were brought to me. I took the milk. Gabriel remarked; This is the Islamic religion which you and your followers are following. Then the prayers were enjoined on me: They were fifty prayers a day. When I returned; I passed by Moses who asked me ; What have you been ordered to do? I replied; I have been ordered to offer fifty prayers a day. Moses said; Your followers cannot bear fifty prayers a day; and by Allah; I have tested people before you; and I have tried my level best with Bani Israel in vain. Go back to your Lord and ask for reduction to lessen your followers burden. So I went back; and Allah reduced ten prayers for me. Then again I came to Moses; but he repeated the same as he had said before. Then again I went back to Allah and He reduced ten more prayers. When I came back to Moses he said the same; I went back to Allah and He ordered me to observe ten prayers a day. When I came back to Moses; he repeated the same advice; so I went back to Allah and was ordered to observe five prayers a day. When I came back to Moses; he said; What have you been ordered? I replied; I have been ordered to observe five prayers a day. He said; Your followers cannot bear five prayers a day; and no doubt; I have got an experience of the people before you; and I have tried my level best with Bani Israel; so go back to your Lord and ask for reduction to lessen your follower burden. I said; I have requested so much of my Lord that I feel ashamed; but I am satisfied now and surrender to Allah Order. When I left; I heard a voice saying; I have passed My Order and have lessened the burden of My Worshipers.have lessened the burden of My Worshipers. +

The two groups of Bani Sulaim called Ril and Dhakwan; appeared to them near a well called Bir Mauna. The people i.e. AlQurra said; By Allah; we have not come to harm you; but we are passing by you on our way to do something for the Prophet. But the infidels killed them. The Prophet ﷺ therefore invoked evil upon them for a month during the morning prayer. That was the beginning of AlQunut and we used not to say Qunut before that. A man asked Anas about AlQunut; Is it to be said after the Bowing in the prayer or after finishing the Recitation i.e. before Bowing ? - Narrated Abd AlAziz: Anas said; When Allah … Narrated Abd AlAziz: Anas said; When Allah Messenger ﷺ invaded Khaibar; we offered the Fajr prayer there early in the morning when it was still dark. The Prophet ﷺ rode and Abu Talha rode too and I was riding behind Abu Talha. The Prophet ﷺ passed through the lane of Khaibar quickly and my knee was touching the thigh of the Prophet ﷺ. He uncovered his thigh and I saw the whiteness of the thigh of the Prophet. When he entered the town; he said; Allahu Akbar! Khaibar is ruined. Whenever we approach near a hostile nation to fight then evil will be the morning of those who have been warned. He repeated this thrice. The people came out for their jobs and some of them said; Muhammad has come. Some of our companions added; With his army. We conquered Khaibar; took the captives; and the booty was collected. Dihya came and said; O Allah Prophet! Give me a slave girl from the captives. The Prophet said; Go and take any slave girl. He took Safiya bint Huyai. A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ s! You gave Safiya bint Huyai to Dihya and she is the chief mistress of the tribes of Quraidha and AlNadir and she befits none but you. So the Prophet ﷺ said; Bring him along with her. So Dihya came with her and when the Prophet ﷺ saw her; he said to Dihya; Take any slave girl other than her from the captives. Anas added: The Prophet ﷺ then manumitted her and married her. Thabit asked Anas; O Abu Hamza! What did the Prophet ﷺ pay her as Mahr ? He said; Her self was her Mahr for he manumitted her and then married her. Anas added; While on the way; Um Sulaim dressed her for marriage ceremony and at night she sent her as a bride to the Prophet ﷺ. So the Prophet was a bridegroom and he said; Whoever has anything food should bring it. He spread out a leather sheet for the food and some brought dates and others cooking butter. I think he Anas mentioned AlSawaq. So they prepared a dish of Hais a kind of meal. And that was Walima the marriage banquet of Allah Messenger ﷺ.the marriage banquet of Allah Messenger ﷺ. +

The following was revealed about me: A witness from among the Children of Israil has testified to something similar; and believed while you rejected. Verily; Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. 46:10 And the following was revealed about me: Sufficient as a witness between me and you is Allah; and those too who have knowledge of the Scripture. 13:43 Allah has sheathed the sword from you and the angels are your neighbors in this city of yours; the one in which the Revelation came to your Prophet. But by Allah! Fear Allah regarding this man; if you kill him; then by Allah! If you kill him; then you will cause the angels to remove your goodness from you; and to raise Allah sheathed sword against you; such that it will never be sheathed again until the Day of Resurrection.
