If anyone comes over there before the dawn prayer on the night of AlMuzdalifah; his hajj will be complete. The period of halting at Mina is three days. Then whoever hastens his departure by two days; it is no sin for him; and whoever delays it there is no sin for him. The narrator said: He the Prophet then put a man behind him on the camel. He began to proclaim this loudly.Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been narrated by Mahran from Sufyan in a similar way. This version adds: The Hajj; the Hajj; twice. When the sun passed the meridian; I put on my coat of mail and rode on my horse. I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who was in a tent. I said: Peace; Allah mercy and His blessings be upon you! The time of departure has come. He said: Yes. He then said: Rise; Bilal. He jumped out from beneath a gum-acacia tree and its shade was like that of a bird. He said: I am at your service and at your pleasure; and I make myself a sacrifice for you. He said: Put the saddle on the horse for me. He then took out a saddle; both sides of which were stuffed with palm-leaves; it showed no arrogance and pride. So he rode and we also rode. He then mentioned the rest of the tradition.Abu Dawud said: Abu Abdulrahman AlFihri did not transmit any tradition except this one. This is a tradition of an expert transmitted by Hammad Bin Salamah.

He said to them in Persian: And you are other than praiseworthy and if you refuse then we will equally resist you. They said: We will not give you the Jizyah; we will fight you instead. Allah Messenger ﷺ became angry and Abu Bakr started saying; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! By Allah; I was more at fault than Umar. Allah Apostle said; Are you people leaving for me my companion? Abu Bakr ; Are you people leaving for me my companion? When I said; O people I am sent to you all as the Messenger of Allah; you said; You tell a lie. while Abu Bakr said; You have spoken the truth.

Abu Bakr greeted the Prophet ﷺ and said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! There was something i.e. quarrel between me and the Son of AlKhattab. I talked to him harshly and then regretted that; and requested him to forgive me; but he refused. This is why I have come to you. The Prophet ﷺ said thrice; O Abu Bakr! May Allah forgive you. In the meanwhile; Umar regretted his refusal of Abu Bakr excuse and went to Abu Bakr house and asked if Abu Bakr was there. They replied in the negative. So he came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him; but signs of displeasure appeared on the face of the Prophet ﷺ till Abu Bakr pitied Umar ; so he knelt and said twice; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! By Allah! I was more unjust to him than he to me. The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah sent me as a Prophet to you people but you said to me ; You are telling a lie; while Abu Bakr said; He has said the truth; and consoled me with himself and his money. He then said twice; Wont you then give up harming my companion? After that nobody harmed Abu Bakr.
