I said; Are you going to milk for me? He replied in the affirmative. I ordered him and he tied the legs of one of the sheep. Then I told him to clean the udder teats of dust and to remove dust off his hands. He removed the dust off his hands by clapping his hands. He then milked a little milk. I put the milk for Allah Messenger ﷺ in a pot and closed its mouth with a piece of cloth and poured water over it till it became cold. I took it to the Prophet ﷺ and said; Drink; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He drank it till I was pleased.

When the sun eclipse cleared; he said; The sun and the moon are two signs amongst the signs of Allah; they do not eclipse because of the death of someone; and so when an eclipse occurs; pray and invoke Allah till the eclipse is over. It happened that a son of the Prophet ﷺ called Ibrahim died on that day and the people were talking about that saying that the eclipse was caused by his death.

He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ using these words as a supplication and I like to follow his practice. The transmitter; Abbas; said in this version: And you say: O Allah! I seek refuge in Thee from infidelity and poverty. O Allah! I seek refuge in Thee from punishment in the grave. There is no god but Thee. Its people will be numerous and it will be one of the capital cities of immigrants or one of the capital cities of Muslims; according to the version of Ibn Yahya who reported from Abu Mamar. At the end of time the descendants of Qantura will come with broad faces and small eyes and alight on the bank of the river. The town inhabitants will then separate into three sections; one of which will follow cattle and live in the desert and perish; another of which will seek security for themselves and perish; but a third will put their children behind their backs and fight the invaders; and they will be the martyrs.

He led them in two rakahs and uttered the salutation. Thus the Messenger of Allah ﷺ offered four rakahs and his companions offered two rakahs. AlHasan used to give legal verdict on the authority of this tradition.Abu Dawud said: This will be so in the sunset prayer.
