It is a well in which dead dogs; menstrual clothes and excrement of people are thrown. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied: Verily water is pure and is not defiled by anything.Abu Dawud said I heard Qutaibah Bin Saeed say: I asked the person in charge of the well of Budah about the depth of the well. He replied: At most the water reaches pubes. Then I asked: Where does it reach when its level goes down ? He replied: Below the private part of the body.Abu Dawud said: I measured the breadth of the well of Budaah with my sheet which I stretched over it. I them measured it with the hand. It measured six cubits in breadth. I then asked the man who opened the door of garden for me and admitted me to it: Has the condition of this well changed from what it had originally been in the past ? He replied: No. I saw the color of water in this well had changed.

  Narrated Abu Saeed AlKhudri: I was sitting in the company of the poor members of the emigrants. Some of them were sitting together because of lack of clothing while a reader was reciting to us. All of a sudden the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came along and stood beside us. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood; the reader stopped and greeted him. He asked: What were you doing? We said: Messenger of Allah! We had a reader who was reciting to us and we were listening to the Book of Allah; the Exalted. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: Praise be to Allah Who has put among my people those with whom I have been ordered to stay. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then sat among us so as to be like one of us; and when he had made a sign with his hand they sat in a circle with their faces turned towards him. The narrator said: I think that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not recognize any of them except me. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: Rejoice; you group of poor emigrants; in the announcement that you will have perfect light on the Day of Resurrection. You will enter Paradise half a day before the rich; and that is five hundred years.

  Narrated Abu Saeed AlKhudri: On Eid AlFitr or Id ul Adha Allah Messenger ﷺ ﷺ went out to the Mousalla. After finishing the prayer; he delivered the sermon and ordered the people to give alms. He said; O people! Give alms. Then he went towards the women and said. O women! Give alms; for I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-Fire were you women. The women asked; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! What is the reason for it? He replied; O women! You curse frequently; and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. O women; some of you can lead a cautious wise man astray. Then he left. And when he reached his house; Zainab; the wife of Ibn Masud; came and asked permission to enter It was said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! It is Zainab. He asked; Which Zainab? The reply was that she was the wife of Ibn Masub. He said; Yes; allow her to enter. And she was admitted. Then she said; O Prophet of Allah! Today you ordered people to give alms and I had an ornament and intended to give it as alms; but Ibn Masud said that he and his children deserved it more than anybody else. The Prophet ﷺ replied; Ibn Masud had spoken the truth. Your husband and your children had more right to it than anybody else.

  Narrated Abu Saeed AlKhudri: Once the Prophet ﷺ sat on a pulpit and we sat around him. Then he said; The things I am afraid of most for your sake concerning what will befall you after me is the pleasures and splendors of the world and its beauties which will be disclosed to you. Somebody said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Can the good bring forth evil? The Prophet ﷺ remained silent for a while. It was said to that person; What is wrong with you? You are talking to the Prophet ﷺ while he is not talking to you. Then we noticed that he was being inspired divinely. Then the Prophet ﷺ wiped off his sweat and said; Where is the questioner? It seemed as if the Prophet ﷺ liked his question. Then he said; Good never brings forth evil. Indeed it is like what grows on the banks of a water-stream which either kill or make the animals sick; except if an animal eats its fill the Khadira a kind of vegetable and then faces the sun; and then defecates and urinates and grazes again. No doubt this wealth is sweet and green. Blessed is the wealth of a Muslim from which he gives to the poor; the orphans and to needy travelers. Or the Prophet said something similar to it No doubt; whoever takes it illegally will be like the one who eats but is never satisfied; and his wealth will be a witness against him on the Day of Resurrection.

He said: What is the matter that I am seeing you sitting in the Masjid when there is no time of prayer? He said: I am entangled in cares and debts; Messenger of Allah. He replied: Shall I not teach you words by which; when you say them; Allah will remove your care; and settle your debt? He said: Why not; Messenger of Allah? He said: Say in the morning and evening: O Allah; I seek refuge in Thee from care and grief; I seek refuge in Thee from incapacity and slackness; I seek refuge in Thee from cowardice and niggardliness; and I seek in Thee from being overcome by debt and being put in subjection by men. Remember Whoever abstains from asking others; Allah will make him contented; and whoever tries to make himself self-sufficient; Allah will make him self-sufficient.   Narrated Abu Saeed AlKhudri: Some of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ came across a tribe amongst the tribes of the Arabs; and that tribe did not entertain them. While they were in that state; the chief of that tribe was bitten by a snake or stung by a scorpion. They said; to the companions of the Prophet ﷺ ; Have you got any medicine with you or anybody who can treat with Ruqya? The Prophet companions said; You refuse to entertain us; so we will not treat your chief unless you pay us for it. So they agreed to pay them a flock of sheep. One of them the Prophet companions started reciting Surat AlFatiha and gathering his saliva and spitting it at the snake-bite. The patient got cured and his people presented the sheep to them; but they said; We will not take it unless we ask the Prophet whether it is lawful. When they asked him; he smiled and said; How do you know that Surat AlFatiha is a Ruqya? Take it flock of sheep and assign a share for me.

So he chose what is with Him. So Abu Bakr said: We will ransom our fathers and mothers for you O Messenger of Allah! He said: So we were amazed. Then the people said: Look at this old man. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ informs about a worshiper whom Allah gave the choice; between Him giving him from the bounty of this life as much as he wishes; and between that which is with Allah; and he says: We will ransom our fathers and mothers for you? But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the one given the choice; and Abu Bakr was the most knowledgeable of it among them. So the Prophet ﷺ said: From those who were most beneficial to me among the people in their companionship and their wealth was Abu Bakr. And if I were to take a Khalil; I would would have taken Abu Bakr as a Khalil. But rather; the brotherhood of Islam. Let there not remain a door in the Masjid except the door of Abu Bakr.

At that time children will become hoary headed; every pregnant female will have a miscarriage; and one will see mankind as drunken; yet they will not be drunken; but dreadful will be the Wrath of Allah. The companions of the Prophet ﷺ asked; O Allah Apostle! Who is that excepted one? He said; Rejoice with glad tidings; one person will be from you and one-thousand will be from Gog and Magog. The Prophet ﷺ further said; By Him in Whose Hands my life is; hope that you will be one-fourth of the people of Paradise. We shouted; Allahu Akbar!
