Then he stayed standing; recited a long recitation again; but shorter than the former; bowed a long bowing; but shorter than the first; performed a long prostration and then performed the second raka in the same way as he had done the first. By the time he had finished his prayer with Taslim; the solar eclipse had been over. Then he addressed the people referring to the solar and lunar eclipses saying; These are two signs amongst the Signs of Allah; and they do not eclipse because of anyone death or life. So; if you see them; hasten for the Prayer.

On the fourth night the Masjid was overwhelmed by the people till it could not accommodate them. Allah Messenger ﷺ came out only for the Fajr prayer and when he finished the prayer; he faced the people and recited Tashah-hud I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is His Apostle ; and then said; Amma badu. I was Rifaa wife and he divorced me thrice; and then I was married to Abdulrahman Bin AlZubair; who; by Allah has nothing with him except something like this fringe; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ; showing a fringe she had taken from her covering sheet. Abu Bakr was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ while Khalid Ibn Saeed Bin AlAs was sitting at the gate of the room waiting for admission. Khalid started calling Abu Bakr; O Abu Bakr! No; it is not possible ; unless and until you enjoy the sexual relation with him Abdulrahman ; and he enjoys the sexual relation with you.

Abu Bin Zama said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! This is my brother and was born on my father bed from his slave-girl. Allah Apostle cast a look at the boy and found definite resemblance to Utba and then said; The boy is for you; O Abu Bin Zama. The child goes to the owner of the bed and the adulterer gets nothing but the stones despair; i.e. to be stoned to death. Then the Prophet ﷺ said; O Sauda bint Zama! Screen yourself from this boy. So; Sauda never saw him again.

Then the Prophet ﷺ looked at the boy and noticed evident resemblance between him and Utba; so he said; He the toy is for you; O Abu Bin Zama; for the boy is for the owner of the bed; and the stone is for the adulterer.   Narrated Aisha: Saad was wounded on the day of Khandaq i.e. Trench when a man from Quraish; called Hibban Bin AlAraqa hit him with an arrow. The man was Hibban Bin Qais from the tribe of Bani Mais Bin Amir Bin Louai who shot an arrow at Saad medial arm vein or main artery of the arm. The Prophet ﷺ pitched a tent for Sad in the Masjid so that he might be near to the Prophet ﷺ to visit. When the Prophet returned from the battle of AlKhandaq i.e. Trench and laid down his arms and took a bath Gabriel came to him while he i.e. Gabriel was shaking the dust off his head; and said; You have laid down the arms? By Allah; I have not laid them down. Go out to them to attack them. The Prophet ﷺ said; Where? Gabriel pointed towards Bani Quraidha. So Allah Messenger ﷺ went to them i.e. Banu Quraidha i.e. besieged them. They then surrendered to the Prophet judgment but he directed them to Saad to give his verdict concerning them. Saad said; I give my judgment that their warriors should be killed; their women and children should be taken as captives; and their properties distributed. Narrated Hisham: My father informed me that Aisha said; Saad said; O Allah! You know that there is nothing more beloved to me than to fight in Your Cause against those who disbelieved Your Apostle and turned him out of Mecca. O Allah! I think you have put to an end the fight between us and them i.e. Quraish infidels. And if there still remains any fight with the Quraish infidels ; then keep me alive till I fight against them for Your Sake. But if you have brought the war to an end; then let this wound burst and cause my death thereby. So blood gushed from the wound. There was a tent in the Masjid belonging to Banu Ghifar who were surprised by the blood flowing towards them. They said; O people of the tent! What is this thing which is coming to us from your side? Behold! Blood was flowing profusely out of Saad wound. Saad then died because of that.

By Allah; you cannot hide yourself from us; so think of a way by which you should not be recognized on going out. Sauda returned while Allah Messenger ﷺ was in my house taking his supper and a bone covered with meat was in his hand. She entered and said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I went out to answer the call of nature and Umar said to me so-and-so. Then Allah inspired him the Prophet and when the state of inspiration was over and the bone was still in his hand as he had not put in down; he said to Sauda ; You women have been allowed to go out for your needs.

The Prophet ﷺ came and asked the permission to enter; and he was allowed. The Prophet ﷺ entered and said to Abu Bakr; Let those who are with you; go out. Abu Bakr replied; There is no stranger ; they are your family. Let my father be sacrificed for you; O Allah Apostle! The Prophet ﷺ said; I have been allowed to leave Mecca. Abu Bakr said; I shall accompany you; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ; Let my father be sacrificed for you! The Prophet ﷺ said; Yes; Abu Bakr said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ s! Let my father be sacrificed for you. Take one of these two shecamels of mine The Prophet ﷺ said. I will take it only after paying its price. So we prepared their baggage and put their journey food In a leather bag. And Asma bint Abu Bakr cut a piece of her girdle and tied the mouth of the leather bag with it. That is why she was called Dhatan- Nitaqaln. Then the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr went to a cave in a mountain called Thour and remained there for three nights. Abdullah Bin Abu Bakr. who was a young intelligent man. used to stay with them at night and leave before dawn so that in the morning; he would he with the Quraish at Mecca as if he had spent the night among them. If he heard of any plot contrived by the Quraish against the Prophet and Abu Bakr; he would understand it and return to inform them of it when it became dark. Amir Bin Fuhaira; the freed slave of Abu Bakr used to graze a flock of milch sheep for them and he used to take those sheep to them when an hour had passed after the Isha prayer. They would sleep soundly till Amir Bin Fuhaira awakened them when it was still dark. He used to do that in each of those three nights.

  Narrated Aisha: Some of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ asked him; Who amongst us will be the first to follow you i.e. die after you ? He said; Whoever has the longest hand. So they started measuring their hands with a stick and Sauda hand turned out to be the longest. When Zainab bint Jahsh died first of all in the caliphate of Umar ; we came to know that the long hand was a symbol of practicing charity; so she was the first to follow the Prophet ﷺ and she used to love to practice charity. Sauda died later in the caliphate of Muawiya.

  Narrated Aisha: Some people asked Allah Messenger ﷺ about the fore-tellers He said. They are nothing They said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Sometimes they tell us of a thing which turns out to be true. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; A Jinn snatches that true word and pours it Into the ear of his friend the fore-teller as one puts something into a bottle The foreteller then mixes with that word one hundred lies.

  Narrated Aisha: Some people asked Allah Messenger ﷺ about the fore-tellers. Allah Messenger ﷺ said to them; They are nothing i.e.; liars. The people said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Sometimes they tell something which comes out to be true. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; That word which comes to be true is what a jinx snatches away by stealing and then pours it in the ear of his fore-teller with a sound similar to the cackle of a hen; and then they add to it one-hundred lies.

  Narrated Aisha: Some people asked the Prophet ﷺ regarding the soothsayers. He said; They are nothing. They said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Some of their talks come true. The Prophet ﷺ said; That word which happens to be true is what a Jinn snatches away by stealth from the Heaven and pours it in the ears of his friend the foreteller with a sound like the cackling of a hen. The soothsayers then mix with that word; one hundred lies.

  Narrated Aisha: Some people of desert came at the time of sacrifice in the time of Apostle of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Store up for three days and give the rest as sadaqah alms. After than the people said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : Messenger of Allah; the people used to benefit from their sacrifices; take and dissolve fat from them; and make water-bags from their skins. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: What is that ? or whatever he said: They said: Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; you have prohibited to preserve the meat of sacrifice after three days. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I prohibited you due to a body of people who came to you. Now eat; give it as sadaqah alms ; and store up.
