I asked: Who is he? The people frowned at me and said: Do you not recognize him? This is Hudhayfah Ibn AlYaman; the companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then Hudhayfah said: People used to ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about good; and I used to ask him about evil. Then the people stared hard at him. He said: I know the reason why you dislike it. I then asked: Messenger of Allah; will there be evil as there was before; after this good which Allah has bestowed on us? He replied: Yes. I asked: Wherein does the protection from it lie? He replied: In the sword. I asked: Messenger of Allah; what will then happen? He replied: If Allah has on Earth a caliph who flays your back and takes your property; obey him; otherwise die holding onto the stump of a tree. I asked: What will come next? He replied: Then the Antichrist Dajjal will come forth accompanied by a river and fire. He who falls into his fire will certainly receive his reward; and have his load taken off him; but he who falls into his river will have his load retained and his reward taken off him. - Narrated Hudhayfah: Thalabah Ibn Zahdam sa … Narrated Hudhayfah: Thalabah Ibn Zahdam said: We accompanied Saad Ibn AlAs at Tabaristan. He stood and said: Which of you prayed along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in time of danger? Hudhayfah said: I then he led one section in one rakah and the other section in one rakah. They did not pray the second rakah by themselves.Abu Dawud: This tradition has been transmitted by Ubaid Allah Bin Abdullah and Mujahid on the authority of Ibn Abbas from the Prophet ﷺ in like manner. This has also been narrated by Abdullah Bin Shaqiq from Abu Huraira from the Prophet ﷺ. Yazid AlFaqir and Abu Mousa also narrated this tradition from Jabir from the Prophet ﷺ. He replied: There will be wrong belief which will blind and deafen men to the truth in which there will be summoners at the gates of Hell. A goldsmith from Bani Qainqa was with me. Hamza Bin Abd AlMuttalib was in that house drinking wine and a lady singer was reciting: O Hamza! Kill the two fat old she camels and serve them to your guests. So Hamza took his sword and went towards the two camels and cut off their humps and opened their flanks and took a part of their livers. I said to Ibn Shihab; Did he take part of the humps? He replied; He cut off their humps and carried them away. Ali further said; When I saw that dreadful sight; I went to the Prophet ﷺ and told him the news. The Prophet ﷺ came out in the company of Zaid Bin Haritha who was with him then; and I too went with them. He went to Hamza and spoke harshly to him. Hamza looked up and said; Arent you only the slaves of my forefathers? The Prophet ﷺ retreated and went out. He said; The daughter will take one-half and the sister will take one-half. If you go to Ibn Masud; he will tell you the same. Ibn Masud was asked and was told of Abu Mousa verdict. Ibn Masud then said; If I give the same verdict; I would stray and would not be of the rightly-guided. The verdict I will give in this case; will be the same as the Prophet ﷺ did; i.e. one-half is for daughter; and one-sixth for the son daughter; i.e. both shares make two-thirds of the total property; and the rest is for the sister. Afterwards we cams to Abu Mousa and informed him of Ibn Masud verdict; whereupon he said; So; do not ask me for verdicts; as long as this learned man is among you.as long as this learned man is among you. +

So the man came to him and informed him about their opinion. He said: I would then be in error and not be one of those who are rightly guided. But I decide concerning the matter as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did: The daughter gets half; and the son daughter gets a share which complete thirds i.e. gets a sixth ; and what remain to the full sister.ixth ; and what remain to the full sister. +
