He reported to me that Umm Bakr told him that Aisha said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said about a woman who was doubtful of her menstruation after purification that it was a vein or veins.Abu Dawud said: The two commands of which the Prophet gave option were as follows in the version reported by Ibn Aqil: He said: If you are strong enough; then take a bath for every prayer; otherwise combine the two prayers ; as AlQasim reported in his version. This statement was also narrated by Saeed Bin Jubair from Ali and Ibn Abbas.

They complained about their houses that they had been narrowed down to them and they were evicted from them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that the houses of the Immigrants should be given to their wives. Thereafter Abdullah Ibn Masud died; and his wife inherited his house in Medina.

    Narrated Zirr Bin Hubaish: I said to Hudhaifah Bin AlYaman: Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform Prayer in Bait AlMaqdis? He said: No. I said: But he did. He said: You say that; O bald one! Based upon what do you say that? I said: Based upon the Quran; the Judge between you and I is the Quran. So Hudhaifah said: Whoever argues using the Quran; then he has indeed succeeded. One of the narrators Sufyan said: He means: He has indeed proven - and perhaps he Sufyan said: He triumphed. He Zirr said: Glorified is He Who took His slave for a journey by night from AlMasjid AlHaram to AlMasjid AlAqsa 17:1. He Hudhaifah said: Do you see this proves that he ﷺ performed Prayer in it? I said: No. He said: If he had performed Prayer in it; then it would have been required upon you that you perform Prayer in it; just as it is required that you perform Prayer in AlMasjid AlHaram. Hudhaifah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought a beast with a long back - stretching out like this - one stride of it; is as far as his vision. So; the two of them remained upon the back of AlBuraq until they saw Paradise and the Fire; and all of what has been prepared for the Hereafter; then they returned back to where they began. He said: They say that he was fettered; but for what? Because he might flee? The Knower of the unseen and the witness subdued him.

Ibn Umar said; Allah orders vows to be fulfilled and the Prophet ﷺ forbade the fasting on this day i.e. Id.

    Narrated Ziyad Ibn AlHarith AlSudai: When the adhan for the dawn prayer was initially introduced; the Prophet ﷺ commanded me to call the adhan and I did so. Then I began to ask: Should I utter iqamah; Messenger of Allah? But he began to look at the direction of the east; waiting for the break of dawn; and said: No. When the dawn broke; he came down and performed ablution and he then turned to me. In the meantime his Companions joined him. Then Bilal wanted to utter the iqamah; but the Prophet ﷺ said to him: The man of Suda has called the adhan; and he who calls the adhan utters the iqamah.

    Narrated Ziyad Ibn Saad Ibn Dumayrah AlSulami: On the authority of his father Sad and his grandfather Dumayrah according to Mousa version who were present in the battle of Hunayn with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : After the advent of Islam; Muhallam Ibn Jaththamah AlLaythi killed a man of Ashja. That was the first blood-money decided by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for payment. Uyaynah spoke about the killing of AlAshjai; for he belonged to Ghatafan; and AlAqra Ibn Habis spoke on behalf of Muhallam; for he belonged to Khunduf. The voices rose high; and the dispute and noise grew. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do you not accept blood-money; Uyaynah? Uyaynah then said: No; I swear by Allah; until I cause his women to suffer the same fighting and grief as he caused my women to suffer. Again the voices rose high; and the dispute and noise grew. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do you not accept the blood-money Uyaynah? Uyaynah gave the same reply as before; and a man of Banu Layth called Mukaytil stood up. He had a weapon and a skin shield in his hand. He said: I do not find in the beginning of Islam any illustration for what he has done except the one that some sheep came on; and those in the front were shot; hence those in the rear ran away. The other example is that make a law today and change it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Fifty camels here immediately and fifty when we return to Medina. This happened during some of his journeys. Muhallam was a tall man of dark complexion. He was with the people. They continued to make effort for him until he was released. He sat before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; with his eyes flowing. He said: Messenger of Allah! I have done the act of which you have been informed. I repent to Allah; the Exalted; so ask Allah forgiveness for me. Messenger of Allah! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: Did you kill him with your weapon at the beginning of Islam. O Allah! do not forgive Muhallam. He said these words loudly. Abu Salamah added: He Muhallam then got up while he was wiping his tears with the end of his garment. Ibn Ishaq said: His people alleged that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked forgiveness for him after that.Abu Dawud said: AlNadr Bin Shumail said: Alghiyar means blood-wit.

  • Narrated Ziyad binIlaqa: I heard Jarir Bin
    Narrated Ziyad binIlaqa: I heard Jarir Bin Abdullah Praising Allah. On the day when AlMughira Bin Shuba died; he Jarir got up on the pulpit and thanked and praised Allah and said; Be afraid of Allah alone Who has none along with Him to be worshipped. You should be calm and quiet till the new chief comes to you and he will come to you soon. Ask Allah forgiveness for your late chief because he himself loved to forgive others. Jarir added; Amma badu now then ; I went to the Prophet and said; I give my pledge of allegiance to you for Islam. The Prophet ﷺ conditioned my pledge for me to be sincere and true to every Muslim so I gave my pledge to him for this. By the Lord of this Masjid! I am sincere and true to you Muslims. Then Jarir asked for Allah forgiveness and came down from the pulpit.

  • Narrated Zubayb Ibn Thalabah AlAnbari: The
    Narrated Zubayb Ibn Thalabah AlAnbari: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent an army to Banu AlAnbar. They captured them at Rukbah in the suburbs of AlTaif and drove them to the Holy Prophet ﷺ. I rode hurriedly to the Holy Prophet ﷺ and said: Peace be on you; Messenger of Allah; and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Your contingent came to us and arrested us; but we had already embraced Islam and cut the sides of the ears of our cattle. When Banu AlAnbar arrived; the Holy Prophet ﷺ said to me: Have you any evidence that you had embraced Islam before you were captured today? I said: Yes. He said: Who is your witness? I said: Samurah; a man from Banu AlAnbar; and another man whom he named. The man testified but Samurah refused to testify. The Holy Prophet ﷺ said: He Samurah has refused to testify for you; so take an oath with your other witness. I said: Yes. He then dictated an oath to me and I swore to the effect that we had embraced Islam on a certain day; and that we had cut the sides of the ears of the cattle. The Holy Prophet ﷺ said: Go and divide half of their property; but do not touch their children. Had Allah not disliked the wastage of action; we should not have taxed you even a rope. Zubayb said: My mother called me and said: This man has taken my mattress. I then went to the Holy Prophet ﷺ and informed him. He said to me: Detain him. So I caught him with a garment around his neck; and stood there with him. Then the Holy Prophet ﷺ looked at us standing there. He asked: What do you intend doing with your captive? I said: I shall let him go free if he returns to this man the mattress of his mother which he has taken from her. He said: Prophet of Allah ﷺ ; I no longer have it. He said: The Holy Prophet ﷺ took the sword of the man and gave it to me; and said to him: Go and give him some sa of cereal. So he gave me some sa of barley.

    Narrated Zuhair: Qabus Bin Abi Zabyan narrated to us; that his father narrated to him; he said: We said to Ibn Abbas: What is the meaning of the saying of Allah the Mighty and Sublime: Allah has not made for any man two hears inside his body.? 33:4 He said: The Prophet of Allah ﷺ stood one day for Prayer; then he was unsure regarding how much he had prayed. The hypocrites who prayed with him said: Dont you see that he has two hearts; a heart with you and another with them? So Allah revealed: Allah has not made for any man two hearts inside his body.

He replied; Allah Messenger ﷺ prohibited taking money for blood; the price of a dog; and the earnings of a slave-girl by prostitution; he cursed her who tattoos and her who gets tattooed; the eater of Riba usury ; and the maker of pictures.

    Narrated aown Bin Abu Juhaifa: My father bought a slave who practiced the profession of cupping. My father broke the slave instruments of cupping. I asked my father why he had done so. He replied; The Prophet ﷺ forbade the acceptance of the price of a dog or blood; and also forbade the profession of tattooing; getting tattooed and receiving or giving Riba; usury ; and cursed the picture-makers.

I will not eat or drink anything until I die or you renounce Islam. He said: So when they wanted to make her eat; they would force her mouth open. So this Ayah was revealed: And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful to his parents; but if they strive to make you associate partners with Me; of which you have no knowledge; then obey them not 29:8.

He said; No; but regarding the Jews and the Christians; for the Jews disbelieved Muhammad and the Christians disbelieved in Paradise and say that there are neither meals nor drinks therein. AlHururiya are those people who break their pledge to Allah after they have confirmed that they will fulfill it; and Saad used to call them AlFasiqin evildoers who forsake Allah obedience.

    Narrated mousab Saad used to recommend five statements and mentioned that the Prophet ﷺ I used to recommend it. It was O Allah!     Narrated: Abu Abdulrahman and Hibban Bin Atiya had a dispute. Abu Abdulrahman said to Hibban; You know what made your companions i.e. Ali dare to shed blood. Hibban said; Come on! What is that? Abdulrahman said; Something I heard him saying. The other said; What was it? Abdulrahman said; Ali said; Allah Messenger ﷺ sent for me; AlZubair and Abu Marthad; and all of us were cavalry men; and said; Proceed to Raudat-Hajj Abu Salama said that Abu Awana called it like this; i.e.; Hajj where there is a woman carrying a letter from Hatib Bin Abi Baltaa to the pagans of Mecca. So bring that letter to me. So we proceeded riding on our horses till we overtook her at the same place of which Allah Messenger ﷺ had told us. She was traveling on her camel. In that letter Hatib had written to the Meccans about the proposed attached of Allah Messenger ﷺ against them. We asked her; Where is the letter which is with you? She replied; I havent got any letter. So we made her camel kneel down and searched her luggage; but we did not find anything. My two companions said; We do not think that she has got a letter. I said; We know that Allah Messenger ﷺ has not told a lie. Then Ali took an oath saying; By Him by Whom one should swear! You shall either bring out the letter or we shall strip off your clothes. She then stretched out her hand for her girdle round her waist and brought out the paper letter. They took the letter to Allah Messenger ﷺ. Umar said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Hatib has betrayed Allah; His Apostle and the believers; let me chop off his neck! Allah Messenger ﷺ said; O Hatib! What obliged you to do what you have done? Hatib replied; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Why for what reason should I not believe in Allah and His Apostle? But I intended to do the Mecca people a favor by virtue of which my family and property may be protected as there is none of your companions but has some of his people relatives whom Allah urges to protect his family and property. The Prophet ﷺ said; He has said the truth; therefore; do not say anything to him except good. Umar again said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He has betrayed Allah; His Apostle and the believers; let me chop his neck off! The Prophet ﷺ said; Isnt he from those who fought the battle of Badr? And what do you know; Allah might have looked at them Badr warriors and said to them ; Do what you like; for I have granted you Paradise? On that; Umar eyes became flooded with tears and he said; Allah and His Apostle know best.
