    Umm Salamah; wife of the Prophet ﷺ is reported to have said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: You will have commanders some of whom you will approve and some of whom you will disapprove. He who expresses disapproval with his tongue Abu Dawud said : This is Hishams version is guiltless; and he who feels disapproval in his heart; is safe; but he who is pleased and follows them. He was asked; shall we not kill them; Messenger of Allah? Abu Dawuds version has : Shall we not fight with them? He replied : No; so long as they pray.

    Umra reported: I heard Aisha Allah be pleased with her as saying: We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ five days before the end of Dhi Qadah; and we did see but that he intended to perform Hajj only ; but as we came near Mecca the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded that he who did not have the sacrificial animal with him should put off Ihram after circumambulating the House and running between AlSafa and AlMarwa and thus convert his Ihram from that of Hajj to Umra. Aisha Allah be pleased with her said: The flesh of cow was sent to us on the Day of Sacrifice 10th of DhuI-Hijja. I said. What is this? It was said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sacrificed the cow on behalf of his wives. Yahya said: I made a mention of this hadith what has been stated by Umra to Qasim Bin Muhammad; whereupon be said: By Allah; she has rightly narrated it to you.

I am not afraid that you would associate anything with Allah after me; but I am afraid that you may be allured by the world and vie with one another in possessing material wealth and begin killing one another; and you would be destroyed as were destroyed those who had gone before you. Uqba said that that was the last occasion that he saw Allah Massenger on the pulpit.

On my turn when I came back in the evening after grazing them in the pastures; I found Allah Messenger ﷺ stand and address the people. I heard these words of his: If any Muslim performs ablution well; then stands and prays two rakahs setting about them with his heart as well as his face; Paradise would be guaranteed to him. I said: What a fine thing is this! And a narrator who was before me said: The first was better than even this. When I cast a glance; I saw that it was Umar who said: I see that you have just come and observed: If anyone amongst you performs the ablution; and then completes the ablution well and then says: I testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the servant of Allah and His Messenger; the eight gates of Paradise would be opened for him and he may enter by whichever of them he wishes.

Upon this he said: Does not one of you go out in the morning to the Masjid and teach or recite two verses from the Book of Allah. the Majestic and Glorious? That is better for him than two camels; and three verses are better than three camels. and four verses are better for him than four camels ; and to on their number in camels.

I said: Ha-ha! How fine it is! A man in front of me said: The action mentioned by the Prophet earlier; O Uqbah; is finer that this one. I looked at him and found him to be Umar Bin AlKhattab. I asked him: What is that; O Abu Hafs? He replied: He the Prophet had said before you came: If any one of you performs ablution; and does it well; and when he finishes the ablution; he utters the words : I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah; He has no associate; and I bear witness that Muhammad is His Servant and His Messenger; all the eight doors of Paradise will be opened for him; he may enter through any of them. Muawiyah said: Rabiah Bin Yazid narrated this tradition to me from Abu Idris and the authority of Uqbah b.Amir.
