SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4449 +Narrated Abdullah Bin Abbas: Abu Sufyan told me that Heraclius said to him; When I inquired you what he i.e. Muhammad ordered you; you replied that he ordered you to establish the prayer; to speak the truth; to be chaste; to keep promises and to pay back trusts. Then Heraclius added; These are really the qualities of a prophet.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-445 +Narrated Aisha: Abdulrahman Bin Abi Bakr came holding a Siwak with which he was cleaning his teeth. Allah Apostle looked at him. I requested Abdulrahman to give the Siwak to me and after he gave it to me I divided it; chewed it and gave it to Allah Messenger ﷺ. Then he cleaned his teeth with it and at that time he was resting against my chest.  +

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4451 +Narrated Muhammad Bin Ali: Jabir Bin Abdullah said; When the Prophet ﷺ died; Abu Bakr received some property from AlAla Bin AlHadrami. Abu Bakr said to the people; Whoever has a money claim on the Prophet; or was promised something by him; should come to us so that we may pay him his right. Jabir added; I said to Abu Bakr ; Allah Messenger ﷺ promised me that he would give me this much; and this much; and this much spreading his hands three times. Jabir added; Abu Bakr counted for me and handed me five-hundred gold pieces ; and then five-hundred; and then five-hundred.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4452 +Narrated Saeed Bin Jubair: A Jew from Hira asked me which one of the two periods Mousa i.e. Prophet Moses completed. I said; I dont know; but wait till I see the most learned Arab and inquire him about it. So; I went to Ibn Abbas and asked him. He replied; Moses completed the longer and better period. Ibn Abbas added; No doubt; an apostle of Allah always does what he says.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4453 +Narrated Ubaidullah Bin Abdullah Bin Utba: Ibn Abbas said; O Muslims? How do you ask the people of the Scriptures; though your Book i.e. the Quran which was revealed to His Prophet is the most recent information from Allah and you recite it; the Book that has not been distorted? Allah has revealed to you that the people of the scriptures have changed with their own hands what was revealed to them and they have said as regards their changed Scriptures : This is from Allah; in order to get some worldly benefit thereby. Ibn Abbas added: Isnt the knowledge revealed to you sufficient to prevent you from asking them? By Allah I have never seen any one of them asking Muslims about what has been revealed to you.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4454 +Narrated AlNuman Bin Bashir: The Prophet ﷺ said; The example of the person abiding by Allah orders and limits or the one who abides by the limits and regulations prescribed by Allah in comparison to the one who do wrong and violate Allah limits and orders is like the example of people drawing lots for seats in a boat. Some of them got seats in the upper part while the others in the lower part ; those in the; lower part have to pass by those in the upper one to get water; and that troubled the latter. One of them i.e. the people in the lower part took an ax and started making a hole in the bottom of the boat. The people of the upper part came and asked him; saying ; What is wrong with you? He replied; You have been troubled much by my coming up to you ; and I have to get water. Now if they prevent him from doing that they will save him and themselves; but if they leave him to do what he wants ; they will destroy him and themselves.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4455 +Narrated Um AlAla: That when the Ansar drew lots as to which of the emigrants should dwell with which of the Ansar; the name of Uthman Bin Madhoun came out to be in their lot. Um AlAla further said; Uthman stayed with us; and we nursed him when he got sick; but he died. We shrouded him in his clothes; and Allah Apostle came to our house and I said; addressing the dead Uthman ; O Abu AlSaib! May Allah be merciful to you. I testify that Allah has blessed you. The Prophet ﷺ said to me; How do you know that Allah has blessed him? I replied; I do not know O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! May my parents be sacrificed for you. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; As regards Uthman; by Allah he has died and I really wish him every good; yet; by Allah; although I am Allah Messenger ﷺ ; I do not know what will be done to him. Um AlAla added; By Allah I shall never attest the piety of anybody after him. And what Allah Messenger ﷺ s said made me sad. Um AlAla further said; Once I slept and saw in a dream; a flowing stream for Uthman. So I went to Allah Messenger ﷺ and told him about it; he said; That is the symbol of his deeds.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4456 +Narrated Aisha: Whenever Allah Messenger ﷺ intended to go on a journey; he used to draw lots among his wives and would take with him the one on whom the lot fell. He also used to fix for everyone of his wives a day and a night; but Sauda bint Zama gave her day and night to Aisha; the wife of the Prophet ﷺ intending thereby to please Allah Messenger ﷺ.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4457 +Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; If the people knew what is the reward of making the call for the prayer and of being in the first row in the prayer ; and if they found no other way to get this privilege except by casting lots; they would certainly cast lots for it. If they knew the reward of the noon prayer; they would race for it; and if they knew the reward of the morning i.e. Fajr and Isha prayers; they would present themselves for the prayer even if they had to crawl to reach there.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4458 +Narrated Abdullah Bin Masud: I asked Allah Messenger ﷺ ; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! What is the best deed? He replied; To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times. I asked; What is next in goodness? He replied; To be good and dutiful to your parents. I further asked; what is next in goodness? He replied; To participate in Jihad in Allah Cause. I did not ask Allah Messenger ﷺ anymore and if I had asked him more; he would have told me more.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4459 +Narrated Ibn Abbas: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; There is no Hijra i.e. migration from Mecca to Medina after the Conquest of Mecca ; but Jihad and good intention remain; and if you are called by the Muslim ruler for fighting; go forth immediately.  +

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4460 +Narrated Aisha: That she said ; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! We consider Jihad as the best deed. Should we not fight in Allah Cause? He said; The best Jihad for women is Hajj-Mabrur i.e. Hajj which is done according to the Prophet tradition and is accepted by Allah.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4461 +Narrated Abu Huraira: A man came to Allah Messenger ﷺ and said; Instruct me as to such a deed as equals Jihad in reward. He replied; I do not find such a deed. Then he added; Can you; while the Muslim fighter is in the battle-field; enter your Masjid to perform prayers without cease and fast and never break your fast? The man said; But who can do that? Abu Huraira added; The Mujahid i.e. Muslim fighter is rewarded even for the footsteps of his horse while it wanders bout for grazing tied in a long rope.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4462 +Narrated Abu Saeed AlKhudri: Somebody asked; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Who is the best among the people? Allah Messenger ﷺ replied A believer who strives his utmost in Allah Cause with his life and property. They asked; Who is next? He replied; A believer who stays in one of the mountain paths worshipping Allah and leaving the people secure from his mischief.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4463 +Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ saying; The example of a Mujahid in Allah Cause- and Allah knows better who really strives in His Cause--is like a person who fasts and prays continuously. Allah guarantees that He will admit the Mujahid in His Cause into Paradise if he is killed; otherwise He will return him to his home safely with rewards and war booty.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4464 +Narrated Anas Bin Malik: Allah Messenger ﷺ used to visit Umm Haram bint Milhan; who would offer him meals. Umm Haram was the wife of Ubada Bin AlSamit. Allah Messenger ﷺ ; once visited her and she provided him with food and started looking for lice in his head. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ slept; and afterwards woke up smiling. Umm Haram asked; What causes you to smile; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ? He said. Some of my followers who in a dream were presented before me as fighters in Allah cause on board a ship amidst this sea caused me to smile; they were as kings on the thrones or like kings on the thrones. Ishaq; a sub-narrator is not sure as to which expression the Prophet ﷺ used. Umm Haram said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Invoke Allah that he makes me one of them. Allah Messenger ﷺ invoked Allah for her and slept again and woke up smiling. Once again Umm Haram asked; What makes you smile; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ? He replied; Some of my followers were presented to me as fighters in Allah Cause; repeating the same dream. Umm Haram said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Invoke Allah that He makes me one of them. He said; You are amongst the first ones. It happened that she sailed on the sea during the Caliphate of Muawiya Bin Abi Sufyan; and after she disembarked; she fell down from her riding animal and died.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4465 +Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ﷺ said; Whoever believes in Allah and His Apostle; offer prayer perfectly and fasts the month of Ramadan; will rightfully be granted Paradise by Allah; no matter whether he fights in Allah Cause or remains in the land where he is born. The people said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Shall we acquaint the people with the is good news? He said; Paradise has one-hundred grades which Allah has reserved for the Mujahidin who fight in His Cause; and the distance between each of two grades is like the distance between the Heaven and the Earth. So; when you ask Allah for something ; ask for Alfirdaus which is the best and highest part of Paradise. i.e. The sub-narrator added; I think the Prophet also said; Above it i.e. AlFirdaus is the Throne of Beneficent i.e. Allah ; and from it originate the rivers of Paradise.  +
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4466 +Narrated Samura: The Prophet ﷺ said; Last night two men came to me in a dream and made me ascend a tree and then admitted me into a better and superior house; better of which I have never seen. One of them said; This house is the house of martyrs.  +
