SahihAlBukhari-017-001-626 +	Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; The angels keep on asking for Allah Blessing and Forgiveness for anyone of you as long as he is at his Mousalla praying place and does not do Hadath passes wind. The angels say; O Allah! Forgive him and be Merciful to him. Each one of you is in the prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer and nothing but the prayer detains him from going to his family.  +

Indeed; one of them never saved himself from being soiled with his urine while the other used to go about with calumnies to make enmity between friends. The Prophet ﷺ then asked for a green leaf of a date-palm tree; broke it into two pieces and put one on each grave. On being asked why he had done so; he replied; I hope that their torture might be lessened; till these get dried.  +

The Prophet ﷺ then took a green leaf of a date-palm tree; split it into pieces and fixed one on each grave. They said; O Allah Apostle! Why have you done so? The people caught him but the Prophet ﷺ ordered them to leave him and to pour a bucket or a tumbler of water over the place where he had passed the urine.
