Narrated Abu Huraira The Prophet said A strong demon from the Jinns came to me yesterday suddenly so as to spoil my prayer but Allah enabled me to overpower him and so I caught him and intended to tie him to one of the pillars of the Mosque so that all of you might see him but I remembered the invocation of my brother Solomon And grant me a kingdom such as shall not belong to any other after me
  7. I asked What are they He replied Whenever you go to bed recite Ayat AlKursi Allahu la ilaha illa huwa AlHaiy AlQaiyum till you finish the whole verse
  8. My father Yazid had taken some gold coins for charity and kept them with a man in the mosque to give them to the poor But I went and took them and brought them to him my father
  9. Abdullah Bin Umar said Allah Messenger appointed Zaid Bin Haritha as the commander of the army during the Ghazwa of Mutah and said If Zaid is martyred Jaffar should take over his position and if Jaffar is martyred Abdullah Bin Rawaha should take over his position
  10. Abdulla h Bin Umar further said I was present amongst them in that battle and we searched for Jaffar Bin Abi Talib and found his body amongst the bodies of the martyred ones and found over ninety wounds over his body caused by stabs or shots of arrows
  11. Narrated Abu Hurairah None has put on sandals nor worn them nor ridden a mount nor a Kur after the Messenger of Allah better than Jaffar bin Abi Talib

Narrated Abu Hurairah When the following was revealed And warn your tribe of near kindred the Messenger of Allah gathered the families of the Quraish calling them one and all he said O people of the Quraish Ransom yourselves from the Fire I have no power to prevent harm or bring benefit to you before Allah O people of Banu Abd Manaf Ransom yourselves from the Fire I have no power to prevent harm or bring benefit to you before Allah O people of Banu Qusay Ransom yourselves from the Fire I have no power to prevent harm or bring benefit to you O people of Banu Abd AlMuttalib Ransom yourselves from the Fire I have no power to prevent harm or bring benefit to you O Fatimah Bint Muhammad Ransom yourself from the Fire I have no power to prevent harm or bring benefit to you before Allah All you have is the womb and the kind relations that shall come of it
  14. He said Say afini min sharri sami wa basari wa lisani wa qalbi wa sharri mani O Allah protect me from the evil of my hearing my seeing my tongue and my heart and the evil of my sperm
  15. Thus he whose emigration was for the sake of Allah and His Messenger his emigration was for the sake of Allah and His Messenger and he whose emigration was to achieve some worldly gain or to take some woman in marriage his emigration was for that for which he emigrated
  16. Narrated Alqamah It was narrated that Alqamah said I was with Ibn Massuod while he was with Uthman may Allah be pleased with him and Uthman said The Messenger of Allah came out to some fityah young men Abu Abdulrahman said I did not understand the word fityah as I would want and said Whoever among you can afford it let him get married for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding chastity and whoever cannot then fasting will be a restraint wija for him
  17. It was narrated from Salman AlKhair that the Messenger of Allah said Whoever guards Ribat the frontier for one day and one night will be given a reward like that for fasting and praying Qiyam for a month and whoever dies at Ribat guarding the frontier will be rewarded and he will be given provision and he will be kept safe from AlFattan
  18. It was narrated that Salman said I heard the Messenger of Allah say Whoever guards Ribat the frontier in the cause of Allah for one day and one night he will have a reward like that of fasting and praying Qiyam for a month
  19. The Messenger of Allah did not pass away until most of his prayers were offered sitting down except for the obligatory prayers and the dearest of actions to him were those which were done persistently even if they were few

Zuhayr Bin Harb narrated to me Ismail rather Ibn Ulayah narrated to us on authority of Abd i AlAziz Ibn Suhayb on authority of Anas Bin Malik that he said Indeed what prevents me from relating to you a great number of U E adith is that the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings of Allah upon him said Whoever intends to lie upon me then let him take his seat in the Fire
  21. He said Should I carry the burden of conducting your affairs in my life as well as in my death So far as Caliphate is concerned I wish I could acquit myself before the Almighty in a way that there is neither anything to my credit nor anything to my discredit
  22. They said Do you intend to go to Muhammad We said We do not intend to go to him but we wish to go back to Medina
  23. It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah said Verily Allah would make a wind to blow from the side of the Yemen more delicate than silk and would spare none but cause him to die who in the words of Abu Alqama has faith equal to the weight of a grain while Abd AlAziz said having faith equal to the weight of a dust particle

It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah transmitted it from the Blessed and Great Lord Verily Allah recorded the good and the evil and then made it clear that he who intended good but did not do it Allah recorded one complete good in his favour but if he intended it and also did it the Glorious and Great Allah recorded ten to seven hundred virtues and even more to his credit

Qabisa Bin AlMukhariq and Zuhair Bin Amr reported When this verse was revealed And warn thy nearest kindred the Messenger of Allah set off towards a rock of the hill and ascended the highest of the rocks and then called sons of Abd Manaf I am a warner my similitude and your similitude is like a man who saw the enemy and went to guard his people but being afraid they might get there before him he shouted Be on your guard

Abu Musa reported Allah Messenger as saying When Allah the Exalted and Glorious intends to show mercy to an Umma from amongst His servants He calls back His Apostle to his eternal home and makes him a harbinger and recompense in the world to come and when He intends to cause destruction to an Umma He punishes it while its Apostle is alive and He destroys it as he the Apostle witnesses it and he cools his eyes by destruction as they had belied him and disobeyed his command
  27. Anas reported Allah Messenger as saying I happened to pass by Moses as he was busy in saying prayer in his grave and in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Isa there is an addition of these words I happened to pass on the occasion of the Night journey
  28. Allah Messenger came to him and found him lying in the mosque and saw that his mantle had slipped from his back and his back was covered with dust and Allah Messenger began to wipe it away from him from the body of Hadrat Ali saying Get up covered with dust Abu Turab get up covered with dust

Aisha Allah be pleased with her reported There came to me Aflah Bin Abu Qulais my uncle by reason of fosterage the rest of the hadith is the same but with this addition I Aisha said to the Holy Prophet It was the woman who suckled me and not the man whereupon he Allah Messenger said May your hands or your right hand be besmeared with dust you were mistaken
  30. Abu Saeed AlKhudri Allah be pleased with him reported that Allah Messenger was asked about azl whereupon he said The child does not come from all the liquid sermen and when Allah intends to create anything nothing can prevent it from coming into existence
  31. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ali Bin Abdulrahman with the same chain of transmitters and there is no mention of the word of AlRibat in the hadith transmitted by Shuba and in the hadith narrated by Malik Ribat has been mentioned twice
  32. Were you to spend in support of Allahs cause an amount of gold equivalent to Uhud Allah would not accept it from you till you believed in divine decree and knew that what has come to you could not miss you and that what has missed you could not come to you
  33. Narrated Ali Ibn AbuTalib The Prophet said There are three persons whose actions are not recorded a sleeper till he awakes a boy till he reaches puberty and a lunatic till he comes to reason
  34. Narrated Daughter of the Prophet AbdulHamid a client of Banu Hashim said that his mother who served some of the daughters of the Prophet told him that one of the daughters of the Prophet said that the Prophet used to teach her saying Say in the morning Glory be to Allah and I begin with praise of Him there is no power but in Allah what Allah wills comes to pass and what He does not will does not come to pass I know that Allah is Omnipotent and that Allah has comprehended everything in knowledge for whoever says it in the morning will be guarded till the evening and whoever says it in the evening will be guarded till the morning
  35. Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah May peace be upon him as saying one is considered to be at prayer so long as one is detained by prayer Nothing prevents one from going home to ones family except prayer
  36. It wasnarrated from Aisha that when the Prophet startedSalat hewould say Subhanak Allahumma wa bi hamdika wa tabarakas muka wataala jadduka wa la ilaha ghayruk Glory and praise is toYou OAllah blessed is Your Name and exalted is Your majesty nonehas theright to be worshipped but You

If you lay siege to themand they want you to givethem the protection of Allah and yourProphet do not give them theprotection of Allah and your Prophet rather give them yourprotection and the protection of your father andyour Companions forif you violate your protection and the protectionof your fathers that is easier than violating the protection of Allahand theprotection of His Messenger
  38. He said Will you swear an oath and establish your right to blood money They said O Messenger of Allah how can we swear an oath when we did not witness anything He said Do you want the Jews to swear that they are innocent They said O Messenger of Allah then they will kill us too
  39. Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibnYasar and from Busr ibn Said and from al Araj all of whom related itfrom Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah may Allah bless himand grant him peace said Whoever manages to do a raka of subhbefore the sun has risen has done subh in time and whoever manages todo a raka of asr before the sun has set has done asr in time
  40. When she comes in to him in hisroom and he says I have not had intercourse with her and she says He had intercourse with me she is believed
  41. Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Umar ibnal Khattab said There is no hoarding in our market and men who haveexcess gold in their hands should not buy up one of Allah s provisionswhich he has sent to our courtyard and then hoard it up against us
  42. I do notthink that a man who is cupped in Ramadan and does not break his fast owes anything and I do not say that he has to make up for the day onwhich he was cupped because cupping is only disapproved of forsomeone fasting if his fast is endangered
