Narrated Abu Huraira Allah Messenger said There will be afflictions in the near future during which a sitting person will be better than a standing one and the standing one will be better than the walking one and the walking one will be better than the running one and whoever will expose himself to these afflictions they will destroy him

Salim Bin Abdullah Bin Umar narrated from his father that when the Messenger of Allah would hear the sound of thunder and lightning bolts he would say O Allah do not kill us with Your wrath and do not destroy us with Your punishment and pardon us before that la taqtulna bi gha U E D abika wa la tuhlikna bi adhabika wa afina qabla dhalik
17. Whoever says it one time it is written for him ten and whoever says it ten times it is written for him a hundred and whoever says it a hundred times it is written for him a thousand and whoever increases Allah will increase for him and whoever seeks Allahs forgiveness Allah will forgive him

28. If he says this in the morning believing in it firmly and dies on that day before evening comes he will enter Paradise and if he says it in the evening believing firmly in it and dies before morning comes he will enter Paradise

Then he regretted that and sent word to his people saying Ask the Messenger of Allah SAW is there any repentance for me His people came to the Messenger of Allah SAW and said So and so regrets what he did and he has told us to ask you if there is any repentance for him Then the Verses How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their Belief up to His saying Verily Allah is Oft Forgiving Most Merciful was revealed
30. He said What did you say He said What did you say He said I said I said If I fight in the cause of Allah with patience and seeking reward facing the enemy and not running away do you think that Allah will forgive my sins He said Yes except for debt

Mahmud Bin Ghaylan narrated to us he said I said to Abu Dawud AlTayalisi You transmit a great deal on authority of Abbad Bin Mansur so how is it that you did not hear the U E adith of the lady perfume seller from him which AlNa U E D r Bin Shumayl transmitted to us Abu Dawud said to me Be quiet for Abd ar Rahma Bin Mahdi and I met Ziyad Bin Maymun and asked him saying to him Are these U E adith you transmit on authority of Anas Ziyad said Have you seen a man sin and then repent does Allah not turn to him Abu Dawud said We said Yes

Ibn Fudail reported on the authority of his father that he heard Salim Bin Abdullah Bin Umar as saying O people of Iraq how strange it is that you ask about the minor sins but commit major sins I heard from my father Abdullah Bin Umar narrating that he heard Allah Messenger as saying while pointing his hand towards the east Verily the turmoil would come from this side from where appear the horns of Satan and you would strike the necks of one another and Moses killed a person from among the people of Pharaoh unintentionally and Allah the Exalted and Glorious said You killed a person but We relieved you from the grief and tried you with many a trial xx

Abu Musa reported Allah Messenger as saying that Allah the Exalted and Glorious Stretches out His Hand during the night so that the people may repent for the fault committed from dawn till dusk and He stretches out His Hand during the day so that the people may repent for the fault committed from dusk to dawn
47. I even forgive him as I like and he who draws close to Me by the span of a palm I draw close to him by the cubit and he who draws close to Me by the cubit I draw close to him by the space covered by two hands and he who walks towards Me I rush towards him and he who meets Me in the state that his sins fill the earth but not associating anything with Me I would meet Him with the same vastness of pardon on My behalf
48. And it would be said Look towards both of them until there is reconciliation look toward both of them until there is reconciliation look towards both of them until there is reconciliation
49. Thereupon Allah the Exalted and Glorious said Who is he who adjures about Me that I would not grant pardon to so and so I have granted pardon to so and so and blotted out his deeds who took an oath that I would not grant pardon to him
50. Aisha the wife of Allah Apostle said that whenever he had to choose between two things he adopted the easier one provided it was nor sin but if it was any sin he was the one wio was the farthest from it of the people and Allah Messenger never took revenge from anyone because of his personal grievance unless what Allah the Exalted and Glorious had made inviolable had been violated
51. I went to him and said Uncle who shot an arrow upon you Abu Amir pointed out to Abu Musa and said Verily that one who shot an arrow upon me in fact killed me
52. Allah the Blessed and the Exalted descends to the lowest heaven and says Is there any beggar so that he be given Is there any supplicator so that he be answered Is there any beggar of forgiveness so that he be forgiven And Allah continues it saying till it is daybreak

Amr b Saeed b AlAs reported I was with Uthman and he called for ablution water and said I heard Allah Messenger say When the time for a prescribed prayer comes if any Muslim performs ablution well and offers his prayer with humility and bowing it will be an expiation for his past sins so long as he has not committed a major sin and this applies for all times

Abu Huraira reported Allah Messenger as saying If anyone extols Allah after every prayer thirty three times and praises Allah thirty three times and declares His Greatness thirty three times ninety nine times in all and says to complete a hundred There is no god but Allah having no partner with Him to Him belongs sovereignty and to Him is praise due and He is Potent over everything his sins will be forgiven even If these are as abundant as the foam of the sea

Said Bin Jubair said I asked Ibn Abbas about the verse relating to intentional homicide in Surat AlNisa He said When the verse Those who invoke not with Allah any other god nor slay such life as Allah had made sacred except for just cause was revealed the polytheists of Mecca said We have killed the soul prohibited by Allah invoked another god along with Allah for worship and committed shameful deeds
59. Abu Saeed AlKhudri and Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah as saying If anyone takes a bath on Friday puts on his best clothes applies a touch of perfume if has any then goes to congregational prayer in the mosque and takes care not to step over people then prayer what Allah has prescribes for him then keeps silent from the time his Imam comes out until he finishes his prayer it will atone for his sins during the previous week
60. He Allah said to this man who had striven hard in worship Had you knowledge about Me or had you power over that which I had in My hand He said to the man who sinned Go and enter Paradise by My mercy

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Dinar fromAbu s Salih as Samman that Abu Hurayra used to say Anyone who haswealth on which he has not paid zakat will on the day of rising findhis wealth made to resemble a whiteheaded serpent with a sac of venomin each cheek which will seek him out until it has him in its power saying I am the wealth that you had hidden away
