- On that Abu Barza came to us and said Since the time I left Allah Messenger nobody has admonished me My house is very far from this place and if I had carried on praying and left my horse I could not have reached my house till night
- The nephew of Suraqa Bin Jusham said that his father informed him that he heard Suraqa Bin Jusham saying The messengers of the heathens of Quraish came to us declaring that they had assigned for the persons why would kill or arrest Allah Messenger and Abu Bakr a reward equal to their bloodmoney
- But I said No it is not they but you have seen so and so and so and so whom we saw set out

- Among the injunctions he made binding upon us was Listening and obedience to the Amir in our pleasure and displeasure in our adversity and prosperity even when somebody is given preference over us and without disputing the delegation of powers to a man duly invested with them Obedience shall be accorded to him in all circumstances except when you have clear signs of his disbelief in or disobedience to God signs that could be used as a conscientious justification for non compliance with his orders
