Shaqiq added Abu Musa said Havent you heard the statement of Ammar to Umar He said I was sent out by Allah Messenger for some job and I became Junub and could not find water so I rolled myself over the dust clean earth like an animal does and when I told the Prophet of that he said Like this would have been sufficient
  12. The Prophet saying so lightly stroked the earth with his hand once and blew it off then passed his left hand over the back of his right hand or his right hand over the back of his left hand and then passed them over his face
  13. He performed ablution thus He washed his face thrice and his forearms to the elbows twice then passed his wet hands lightly over the head from front to rear and brought them to front again and washed his feet up to the ankles
  14. So due to excessive walking our feet became thin and my feet became thin and my nail dropped and we used to wrap our feet with the pieces of cloth and for this reason the Ghazwa was named Dhat Al AlRiqa as we wrapped our feet with rags
  15. So I said to him before Surah AlMaidah was revealed or after AlMaidah So he replied I did not acceot Islam until after AlMaidah

Narrated Muhammad Bin Jubair Bin Mutim from his father that the Messenger of Allah said I have some names I am Muhammad I am Ahmad I am AlMahi the one by whom Allah wipes out disbelief I am AlHasir the one whom the people are gathered at his feet and I am AlAqib the one after whom there is no Prophet
  17. And he placed his hand at the height of the nape of his neck then he extended it higher and said From there is what is hoped for from there is what is hoped for

Narrated Abu Hurairah that regarding the saying of Allah Most High The Day when We shall call together all human beings with their respective Imam the Prophet said One of you will be called out to be given his record in his right hand he will be grown in his body to sixty forearm lengths his face will be whitened and a crown of sparkling pearls will be placed upon his head
  19. He said You say this while Allah Prophet is among us So the Messenger of Allah said And the Trumpet will be blown and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away except him whom Allah wills

Ata spread his fingers a little then placed them with the tips of his fingers on his forehead then he drew his fingers together on his head until his thumb touched the edge of the ear that is next to the face then moved it to his temple and forehead then he said Were it not that I would impose too much difficulty for my Ummah I would have commanded them to offer this prayer only at this time
  21. They found her as she was breathing her last and they took her around among the people saying Was it this one Was it this one When she said yes the Messenger of Allah ordered that his head be crushed between two rocks

It was narrated from Abd Khair that Ali may Allah be pleased with him was brought a chair and he sat down on it then he called for a vessel of water which he tilted onto his hand three times then he rinsed his mouth and nose with one hand three times he washed his face three times washed each forearm three times and took some of the water and wiped his head
  26. And he washed each foot three times then he said Whoever would like to see how the Messenger of Allah purified himself this is how he purified himself
  27. It was narrated from Amr Bin Yahya AlMazini that his father said to Abdullah Bin Zaid Bin Asim who was one of the Companions of the Prophet and the grandfather of Amr Bin Yahya Can you show me how the Messenger of Allah used to perform Wudu Abdullah Bin Zaid said Yes
  28. When he washes his face his sins come out from his face even from beneath his eyelashes

When he had relieved himself he said Do you have any water with you I brought some water to him and he washed his hands and face then he started trying to uncover his arms but the sleeves of his Jubbah were too tight so he threw it over his shoulders and washed his arms and wiped over his forehead and Imamah and over his Khuff
  30. My hand touched his feet and they were held upright and he was prostrating and saying I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your anger in Your forgiveness from Your punishment and I seek refuge in You from You

The following day I asked him O Messenger of Allah what is this stern warning that has been revealed He said By the One in Whose hand is my soul if a man were to be killed in the cause of Allah then brought back to life then killed but he owed a debt he would not enter paradise until his debt was paid off Stern Warning Concering Debt Sahih Darussalam
  32. Suhaib narrated that he heard Abu Hurairah and Abu Saeed say The Messenger of Allah addressed us one day and said By the One in Whose hand is my sould three times then he lowered his head and each of us lowered his head weeping and we did not know what he had sworn that oath about
  33. It was narrated from Musa Bin Talhah that a man brought a rabbit to the Prophet and the prophet stretched out his hand toward it then the one who had brought it said I saw some blood on it So the Prophet drew his hand back but he told the people to eat
  34. Abdulrahman Bin Shibl said The Messenger of Allah forbade three things Pecking like a crow resting one forearms on the ground like a predator and allocating the same place for prayer like a camel gets used to a certain place
  35. It was narrated from Malik Bin AlHuwairith that When the Prophet of Allah started to pray he raised his hands and when he bowed he did likewise and when he raised his head from bowing he did likewise and when he raised his head from prostration he did likewise meaning he raised his hands

Shaqiq reported I was sitting in the company of Abdullah and Abu Musa when Abu Musa said Abdulrahman kunya of Abdullah Bin Massuod what would you like a man to do about the prayer if he experiences a seminal emission or has sexual intercourse but does not find water for a month Abdullah said He should not perform tayammum even if he does not find water for a month

Do you remember Commander of the Faithful when I and you were in a military detachment and we had had a seminal emission and did not find water for taking bath and you did not say prayer but as for myself I rolled in dust and said prayer and when it was mentioned before the Apostle said It was enough for you to strike the ground with your hands and then blow the dust and then wipe your face and palms
  38. He then tried to tuck up the sleeves of his cloak upon his forearms but since the sleeves were tight he inserted his hands in the cloak and then brought out his forearms up to the elbow below the cloak and then wiped over his shoes and then moved on

Aisha reported One night I missed Allah Messenger from the bed and when I sought him my hand touched the soles of his feet while he was in the state of prostration they feet were raised and he was saying O Allah I seek refuge in Thy pleasure from Thy anger and in Thy forgiveness from Thy punishment and I seek refuge in Thee from Thee Thy anger

Malik Bin Anas narrated it from Amr Bin Yahya with the same chain of transmitters transmitters and mentioned the rinsing of mouth and snuffing of water into the nostrils three times but he did not mention from one palm and made this addition He moved them his hands for wiping to the front of his head and then the nape of his neck then bringing them back till he reached the place from which he had begun after which he washed his feet
  41. Ibn Juraij reported I said to Ata Which time do you deem fit for me to say the Isya prayer as an Imam or alone that time which is called by people Atama He said I heard Ibn Abbas saying The Apostle of Allah one night delayed the Isya prayer till the people went to sleep

Ali said I love that I should say prayer whether as an Imam or alone at delayed hours as the Messenger of Allah said that night but if It is hard upon you in your individual capacity or upon people in the congregation and you are their Imam then say prayer Isha at the middle hours neither too early nor too late

Narrated AbuBakrah Saeed Ibn AbulHasan said When AbuBakrah came to us to give some evidence a man got up from his place but he refused to sit in it saying The Prophet forbade this and the Prophet forbade anyone to wipe his hand on the garment of anyone whose clothing he had not himself provided
  48. Then he sat down and spread out his left foot putting forward the front of his right foot towards the qiblah placing the palm of his right hand on his right knee and the palm of his left hand on his left knee and he pointed with his finger

When he saw the signs of distress on our faces he stood up on our faces and said O Allah do not put them under my care for I would be too weak to care for them do not put them in care of themselves for they would be incapable of that and do not put them in the care of men for they would choose the best things for themselves

In the morning the Muslims will not hear any sound fromthem and they will say Who will sell his soul for the sake ofAllah andsee what they are doing A man will go down havingprepared himselfto be killed by them and he will find them dead sohe will call outto them Be of good cheer for your enemy is dead Then the peoplewill come out and let their flocks loose but theywill not haveanything to graze on except their flesh and they willbecome very fatas if they were grazing on the best vegetation theyever found
  51. It was narrated that Thalabah Bin Abu Malik said The Messenger of Allah ruled concerning the stream of Mahzur that the higher ground took precedence over the lower so the higher ground should be irrigated until the water reached the ankles then it should be released to those who were lower
  52. She said Pray toAllah for us to grant us goodness for theProphet used to say The supplication of a man for hisbrother in his absence will beanswered
  53. It wasnarrated that Ibn Abbas said A man came to the Prophet and said Shall I perform Hajj on behalf of my father Hesaid Yes perform Hajj on behalf of your father for if you cannotaddany good to his record at least you will not add anything bad
  54. Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa that hisfather said There were two men in Madina one of whom dug graveswith a niche in the side wall for the body and the other who did not and they said Whichever one comes first can do the job and the onewho dug graves with a niche came first and dug the Messenger ofAllah s grave may Allah bless him and grant him peace
  55. Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Umm Salama the wife of the Prophet may Allah bless him and grant him peace usedto say I did not believe that the Messenger of Allah may Allahbless him and grant him peace had died until I heard the pickaxesfall
  56. I wanted to tell the man the good news but I wasafraid that I would miss the midday meal with the Messenger of Allah may Allah bless him and grant him peace and I preferred to eat withthe Messenger of Allah may Allah bless him and grant him peace
