  3. It rained that day the next day the third day the fourth day and till the next Friday when the same Bedouin or some other person stood up during the Friday Khutba and said O Allah Messenger The houses have collapsed and the livestock are drowned

The Prophet said Allah says In this morning some of My worshipers remained as true believers and some became non believers he who said that it had rained with the blessing and mercy of Allah is the one who believes in Me and does not believe in star but he who said it had rained because of such and such star is a disbeliever in Me and is a believer in star

Narrated Salman A AlFarsi The Prophet said Whoever takes a bath on Friday purifies himself as much as he can then uses his hair oil or perfumes himself with the scent of his house then proceeds for the Jumua prayer and does not separate two persons sitting together in the mosque then prays as much as Allah has written for him and then remains silent while the Imam is delivering the Khutba his sins in between the present and the last Friday would be forgiven
  6. By Him in Whose Hands my soul is as soon as he lowered his hands clouds gathered like mountains and before he got down from the pulpit I saw the rain falling on the beard of the Prophet

  19. Narrated Haritha Bin Wahb I heard the Prophet mentioning the Lake Fount A AlKauthar saying The width of the Lake Fount is equal to the distance between Medina and Sana capital of Yemen

  22. The clouds started dispersing over Medina to the right and to the left and it rained round about Medina and not upon Medina
  23. Zainab said The Prophet said An opening has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this and this forming the number with his thumb and index finger
  24. They said to each other Think of good deeds which you did for Allah sake only and invoke Allah by giving reference to those deeds so that He may remove this rock from you
  25. Musa said Salim let our camels kneel at the place where Abdullah used to make his camel kneel seeking the place where Allah Messenger used to take a rest which is situated below the mosque which is in the bottom of the valley it is midway between the mosque and the road
  26. Narrated Anas Bin Malik Abu Jahl said O Allah If this is indeed the Truth from You then rain down on us a shower of stones from the sky or bring on us a painful punishment
  27. That news scared us so I went to Abdullah Ibn Massuod while he was reclining and told him the story whereupon he became angry sat up and said He who knows a thing can say it but if he does not know he should say Allah knows best for it is an aspect of knowledge to say I do not know if you do not know a certain thing
  28. Narrated Masruq We came upon Abdullah Bin Massuod and he said O people If somebody knows something he can say it but if he does not know it he should say Allah knows better for it is a sign of having knowledge to say about something which one does not know Allah knows better
  29. How can there be an effectual reminder for them when an Apostle explaining things clearly has already come to them Then they had turned away from him and said One taught by a human being a madman We shall indeed remove punishment for a while but truly you will revert to disbelief
  30. Narrated Abdullah Five things have passed the smoke the defeat of the Romans the splitting of the moon AlBatsha the defeat of the infidels in the battle of Badr and AlLizam the punishment
  31. Then after this period Allah will send water from the sky and then the dead bodies will grow like vegetation grows There is nothing of the human body that does not decay except one bone that is the little bone at the end of the coccyx of which the human body will be recreated on the Day of Resurrection
  32. w said Indeed the people of Paradise shall see the upper chamber like they see the eastern star or the western star disappearing in the far edge of the sky or ascending due to the differences in levels
  33. w would receive a man to shake hands with him he would not remove his hand until he the manremoved his and he would not turn his face away from his face until the man turned and he would not be seen advancing his knees before one sitting with him
  34. She said No one has asked me about it since I asked the Messenger of Allah he said This is Allah admonition for His slave regarding whatever he is stricken with of fever and problems even the that he has in the pocket of his shirt which he loses and worries about until the slave sins are removed just as the red ore is removed from the bellows
  35. He became angry and since he was reclining he sat up then said When one of you is asked about something he knows then let him speak accordingly Mansur one of the narrators narrated it as Then let him inform of it And when asked about what he does not know then let him say Allah knows best

It was narrated that Zaid Bin Khalid AlJuhani said It rained during the time of the Prophet and he said Have you nt heard what your Lord said this night He said I have never sent down any blessing upon My slaves but some of them become disbelievers thereby saying We have been given rain by such and such a star
  37. It was narrated that Anas said There was no rain for a year so some of the Muslims went to the Prophet one Friday and said O Messenger of Allah there has been no rain the land has become bare and our wealth has been destroyed
  38. The Messenger of Allah raised his hands and we could not see even a wisp of a cloud in the sky but by the One in Whose hand is my soul he did not lower his hands before clouds like mountains appeared and he did not come down from his minbar before we saw the rain dripping from his beard
  39. He who said We have had a rainfall due to the Blessing and Mercy of Allah he is My believer and a disbeliever of stars and who said We have had a rainfall due to the rising of such and such star disbelieved Me and affirmed his faith in the stars
  40. Masruq reported We were sitting in the company of Abdullah and he was lying on the bed that a person came and said Abd Abd AlRabmin a story teller at the gates of Kinda says that the verse of the which deals with the smoke implies that which is about to come and it would hold the breath of the infidels and would inflict the believers with cold
  41. Verily Allah the Exalted and Glorious said to His Prophet to state I do not ask from you any remuneration and I am not the one to put you in trouble and when Allah Mesqenger saw people turning back from religion he said O Allah afflict thern with seven famines as was done in the case of Yusuf so they were afflicted with famine by which they were forced to eat everything until they were obliged to eat the hides and the dead bodies because of hunger and every one of them looked towards the sky and he found a smoke
  42. Abdullah said He who has knowledge should say something and he who has no knowledge should simply say Allah is best aware
  43. When we went to him to the Holy Prophet in the evening and he read the signs of fear in our faces he said What is the matter with you We said Allah Messenger you made a mention of the Dajjal in the morning sometimes describing him to be insignificant and sometimes very important until we began to think as if he were present in some near part of the cluster of the date palm trees
  44. If he comes forth while I am among you I shall contend with him on your behalf but if he comes forth while I am not amongst you a man must contend on his own behalf and Allah would take care of every Muslim on my behalf and safeguard him against his evil
  45. We said Allah Messenger how long would he stay on the earth He said For forty days one day like a year and one day like a month and one day like a week and the rest of the days would be like your days
  46. Then in the evening their pasturing animals would come to them with their humps very high and their udders full of milk and their flanks stretched
  47. He would then call that young man and he will come forward laughing with his face gleaming with happiness and it would be at this very time that Allah would send Christ son of Mary and he will descend at the white minaret in the eastern side of Damascus wearing two garments lightly dyed with saffron and placing his hands on the wings of two Angels
  48. Then a people whom Allah had protected would come to Jesus son of Mary and he would wipe their faces and would inform them of their ranks in Paradise and it would be under such conditions that Allah would reveal to Jesus these words I have brought forth from amongst My servants such people against whom none would be able to fight you take these people safely to Tur
  49. Jesus and his companions would then be besieged here at Tur and they would be so much hard pressed that the head of the ox would be dearer to them than one hundred dinars and Allah Apostle Jesus and his companions would supplicate Allah Who would send to them insects which would attack their necks and in the morning they would perish like one single person
  50. Then the earth would be told to bring forth its fruit and restore its blessing and as a result thereof there would grow such a big pomegranate that a group of persons would be able to eat that and seek shelter under its skin and milch cow would give so much milk that a whole party would be able to drink it
  51. And the milch camel would give such a large quantity of milk that the whole tribe would be able to drink out of that and the milch sheep would give so much milk that the whole family would be able to drink out of that and at that time Allah would send a pleasant wind which would soothe people even under their armpits and would take the life of every Muslim and only the wicked would survive who would commit adultery like asses and the Last Hour would come to them
  52. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Jabir with the same chain of transmitters but with this addition that Gog and Magog would walk until they would reach the mountain of AlKhamar and it is a mountain of Bait AlMaqdis and they would say We have killed those who are upon the earth
  53. He then climbed the pulpit as if someone is saying good bye to the living and the dead and then said I shall be there as your predecesor on the Cistern before you and it is as wide as the distance between Aila and Juhfa Aila is at the top of the gulf of Aqaba
  54. I am not afraid that you would associate anything with Allah after me but I am afraid that you may be allured by the world and vie with one another in possessing material wealth and begin killing one another and you would be destroyed as were destroyed those who had gone before you
  55. This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Ibn Umar and the words are That he said there would be before you a Cistern extending from jarba and Adhruh and the same has been transmitted on the authority of Ibn Muthanna and the wording is My Cistern
  56. Abu Huraira reported Allah Messenger as saying There is no transitive disease no huma no star promising rain no safar
  57. I said Allah Messenger we observed evening prayer with you then we said Let us sit down and observe night prayer along with you whereupon he said You have done well or you have done right
  58. He then lifted his head towards the sky and it often happened that as he lifted his head towards the sky he said The stars are a source of security for the sky and when the stars disappear there comes to the sky i
  59. And I am a source of safety and security to my Companions and when I would go away there would fall to the lot of my Companions as they have been promised with and my Companions are a source of security for the Umma and as they would go there would fall to the lot of my Umma as its people have been promised
  60. Abdullah Bin Umar Allah be pleased with both of them reported Allah Measenger as saying When you see the new moon observe fast and when you see it again then break it and if the sky is cloudy for you then calculate it
  61. So do not fast till you have sighted it the new moon and do not break it till you have sighted it except when the sky is cloudy for you and if it is so then calculate it
  62. The Messenger of Allah raised his hands and then said O Allah send down rain upon us O Allah send dowp rain upon us O Allah send down rain upon us
  63. Anas Bin Malik reported that while the Messenger of Allah was delivering the sermon on Friday people stood up before him and said in a loud voice Apostle of Allah there is a drought and the trees have become yellow the animals have died and the rest of the hadith is the same and in the narration transmitted by Abd AlAla the words are The clouds cleard from Medina and it began to rain around it and not a single drop of rain fell in Medina
  64. Ata Bin Rabah reported on the authority of Aisha the wife of the Messenger of Allah way peace be upon him who said Whenever the wind was stormy the Messenger of Allah used to say O Allah I ask Thee for what is good in it and the good which it contains and the good of that which it was sent for
  65. Aisha asked him about it and he said It may be as the people of Ad said When they saw a cloud formation coming to their valley they said It is a cloud which would give us rain xlvi
  66. I said Messenger of Allah I find people being happy when they ace the dark cloud in the hope that it would bring rain but I find that when you see that the cloud there is an anxiety on your face
  67. Mukhtar Bin Fulful reported that he had heard Anas Bin Malik say that the Messenger of Allah dozed off and the rest of the hadith is the same as transmitted by Mus hir except for the words that he the Holy Prophet said It Kauthar is a canal which my Lord the Exalted and the Glorious has promised me in Paradise
  68. Abu Huraira reported Verily Allah Messenger said My Cistern has its dimensions wider than the distance between Aila and Aden and its water is whiter than ice and sweeter than the honey diluted with milk and its cups are more numerous than the numbers of the stars
  69. The Messenger of Allah may peace upon him said to him I have concealed something in my hand and he concealed the verse the day when the sky will bring forth smoke dukhan clearly visible Ibn Sayad said It is smoke dukhan
  70. Narrated A woman of the Banu AbdulAshhal She reported I said Messenger of Allah our road to the mosque has an unpleasant stench what should we do when it is raining He asked Is there not a cleaner part after the filthy part of the road She replied Why not there is one He said It makes up for the other
  71. The people asked him Who is capable of doing this He replied It may be mucus in the mosque which you bury and something which you remove from the road but if you do not find such two rakahs in the forenoon will be sufficient for you
  72. The one who said We have been given rain by Allah grace and mercy is the one who believes in me and disbelieves in the star but the one who said We have been given rain by such and such a rain star is the one who disbelieves in me and believes in the star
  73. It wasnarrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah said Oneprayer in my Masjid is better than one thousand prayerselsewhere except the Sacred Masjid and one prayer in the Sacred Masjid isbetter than one hundred thousand prayers elsewhere
  74. It was narrated from Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah said Whoever has land let him cultivate it himself or let him give it to his brother for free to cultivate it and if he does not want to do that let him keep his land
  75. It was narrated from Usaid Bin Zuhair the paternal nephew of Rafi Bin Khdij that Rafi Bin Khadeej said If one of us did not need his land he would give it to someone else to cultivate in return for one third or one half of the yield and he would stipulate that the should receive the produce grows on the banks of three streams and the grains that remain in the ear after threshing and the produce irrigated by a stream
  76. It was related to me from Malik from Musa ibn Uqba from Abd ar Rahman ibn Yazid al Ansari that when Anas ibn Malik came back fromIraq Abu Talha and Ubayy ibn Kab visited him
