- Narrated Jubair Bin Mutim I heard the Prophet reciting Surat AlTur in the Maghrib prayer and when he reached the Verse Were they created by nothing Or were they themselves the creators Or did they create the Heavens and the Earth Nay but they have no firm belief Or do they own the treasures of Your Lord Or have they been given the authority to do as they like
- His telling a lie against Me is his saying that I will not recreate him as I created him for the first time and his abusing Me is his saying that Allah has begotten children while I am the self sufficient Master Whom all creatures need Who begets not nor was He begotten and there is none like unto Me
- Whoever speaks according to it then he has said the truth and whoever acts according to it he is rewarded and whoever judges by it he has judged justly and whoever invites to it then he guides to the straight path

- Ibn Abbas said One night when he exited his Salat I heard the Messenger of Allah saying O Allah I ask You of Your mercy that You guide by it my heart and gather by it my affair and bring together that which has been scattered of my affairs and correct with it that which is hidden from me and raise by it that which is apparent from me and purify by it my actions and inspire me by it with that which contains my guidance and protect me by it from that which I seek protection and protect me by it from every evil
- O Allah appoint a light in my heart for me and a light in my grave and light in front of me and light behind me and light on my right and light on my left and light above me and light below me and light in my hearing and light in my vision and light in my hair and light in my skin and light in my flesh and light in my blood and light in my bones

- Abu Salamah said I asked Aishah may Allah be pleased with her With what did the Prophet used to open his Salat when he stood up in the night She said When he stood up in the night he would open his Salat by saying O Allah Lord of Jibrail Mikail and Israfil Originator of the heavens and the earth and Knower of the hidden and the seen You judge between Your slaves concerning that which they used to differ guide me through that which there has been difference concerning the truth verily You are upon a straight path rabba Jibrila wa Mikaila wa Israfil fa U E D ira samawati Alar U E D i wa alima Alghaibi wash shahadati anta ta U E kumu baina ibadika fima kanu fihi yakhtalifun ihdini limakhtulifa fihi mina Al U E aqqi biidhnika innaka tahdi man tashau ila U E iratin mustaqim
- Then the last of what he would say between AlTashahud and AlTaslim was O Allah forgive me what I have done before and after and what I have hidden and what I have done openly and what I have transgressed the limit in and what You know about more than me You are the One Who sends forth and the One Who delays there is none worthy of worship except You ghfirli ma qaddamtu wa ma akhkhartu wa ma asrartu wa ma alantu wa ma asraftu wa ma anta alamu bihi minni anta AlMuqaddimu wa anta AlMuakhkhiru la ilaha illa ant
- Ali Bin Abi Talib narrated that when the Messenger of Allah would stand for the obligatory prayer he would raise his hands to the level of his shoulder and he would do this also when he finished his recitation and intended to bow and he would do it when he raised his head from Ruku and he would not raise his hands in any of his prayers while he was seated

- So Allahs Prophet said When you go to your bed say O Allah Lord of the Seven Heavens and what they have shaded Lord of the earths and what they carry Lord of the Smodesty selfrespect bashfulness scrupletin and those they have misguided be for me a Protector against the evil of Your creation all of them together so that none of them should transgress against me or oppress me mighty is the one who seeks protection in You and glorified is Your praise and there is none worthy of worship other than You and there is none worthy of worship except You

- He said O Abu Bakr say O Allah Creator of the heavens and the earth Knower of the unseen and the seen there is none worthy of worship except You Lord of everything and its Owner I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil of Shaitan and his Shirk or that I should do some evil to myself or bring it upon a Muslim fa U E D iras samawati Alar U E D i alima Alghaibi wash shahadati la ilaha illa anta rabba kulli shaiin wa malikahu audhu bika min sharri nafsi wa min sharrish shai U E D ani wa sharakihi wa an aqtarifa ala nafsi suan aw ajurrahu ila muslim
- Ibn Abbas said The Prophet used to supplicate saying My Lord aid me and do not aid against me and grant me victory and do not grant victory over me plot for me and do not plot against me guide me and facilitate guidance for me grant me victory over those who transgress against me
- My Lord make me ever grateful to You ever remembering of You ever fearful of You ever obedient to You ever humble to You oft turning and returning to You

- Glory to Allah accord to what pleases Him Glory to Allah accord to what pleases Him Glory to Allah accord to what pleases Him Sub U E an Allahi ri U E D a nafsihi Sub U E an Allahi ri U E D a nafsihi SSub U E an Allahi ri U E D a nafsihii

- So he said Should I not inform you of what is easier for you then this and better Glory to Allah according to the number of what He created in the sky and glory to Allah according to the number of what He created in the earth and glory to Allah according to the number of what is between that and glory to Allah according to the number of what He is going to create and Allah is great in similar amount to that and all praise is due to Allah in similar amount to that and there is no might or power except by Allah in similar amount to that Sub U E an Allahi adada ma khalaqa fis sama wa sub U E an Allahi adada ma khalaqa fi Alar U E D wa sub U E an Allahi adada ma baina dhalik wa sub U E an Allahi adada ma huwa khalaq wa Allahu akbaru mithla dhalik wal U E amdu lillahi mithla dhalik wa la U E awla wa la quwata illa billahi mithla dhalik
- Recite Fatihat AlKitab the Opening of the Book and Surat Ya Sin in the first Rakah and Fatihat AlKitab and Ha Mim AlDukhan in the second Rakah and Fatihat AlKitab and Alif Lam Mim Tanzil AlSajdah in the third Rakah and Fatihat AlKitab and Tabarak AlMufassal in the fourth Rakah
- badias samawati wal ar U E D i dha Aljalali Alikrami wal izzati llati la turamu asaluka ya Allahu ya Ra U E manu bi jalalika wa nuri wajhika an tunawira bi kitabika ba U E ari wa an tu U E D liqa bihi lisani wa an tufarrija bihi an qalbi wa an tashra U E a bihi U E adri wa an taghsila bihi badani fa innahu la yuinuni ala Al U E aqqi ghairuka wa la yutihi illa anta wa la U E awla wa la quwata illa billahi AlAliyi AlA U E im
- Abdullah Bin Abbas said So by Allah Ali did not wait but five or seven until Ali came to the Messenger of Allah in a gathering similar to that and said O Messenger of Allah indeed I was a man in the time that passed who used to not take except four Ayat or about that much so when I would recite them to myself they would suddenly depart from me and today I learn forty Ayat or about that much and when I recite them to myself then it is as if the Book of Allah is before my eyes
- And dreams are three types The good dreams wihich is glad tidings from Allah dreams about something that has happened to the man himself and dreams in which the Shaitan frightens someone
- So he said What shall you say O Ab AlQasim when Allah places the heavens upon this the earths upon this the water upon this the mountains upon this and the rest of creation upon this Muhammad Bin AlSalt Abu Jaffar one of the narrators indicated first with his little finger then followed one by one until he reached his index finger So Allah the Mighty and Sublime revealed They made not a just estimate of Allah such as is due to Him
- When you see what you dislike then say inna nas aluka min khairi hadhihir rih wa khairi ma fiha wa khairi ma umirat bihi wa naudhu bika min sharri hadhihir rih wa sharri ma fiha wa sharri ma umirat bihi O Allah Indeed we ask you of the good of this wind and the good of what is in it and the good of what it has been commanded
- He Nafl said One day Ibn Umar looked at the House or the Kabah and said What is it that is more honored than you and whose honor is more sacred than yours And the believers honor is more sacred to Allah than yours
- Indeed You decree and none can pass decree and none can pass decree upon You indeed he is not humiliated whom You have befriended blessed are You our Lord and Exalted
- in kunta talamu anna hadha Alamra khairun li fi dini wa maishati wa aqibati amri or said Fi ajili amri wa ajilihi fayassirhu li thumma barik li fihi wa in kunta talamu anna hadha Alamra sharrun li fi dini wa maishati wa aqibati amri or said Fi ajili amri wa ajilihi fasrifhu anni wasrifni anhu waqdur Li Alkhaira haithu kana thumma ardini bih
- O Allah I consult Your knowledge and seek ability from Your power and I ask You from Your magnificent bounty for indeed You have power and I do not have power and You know while I do not know and You know the unseen
- The worst of things are those that are newly invented every newly invented thing is an innovation and every innovation is going astray and every going astray is in the Fire
- Whenever he mentioned the Hour his cheeks would turn red and he would raise his voice and become angry as if he were warning of an approaching army and saying An army is coming to attack you in the morning or in the evening Then he said Whoever leaves behind wealth it is for his family and whoever leaves behind a debt or dependents then these are my responsibility and I am the most entitled to take care of the believers
- It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said When the Prophet got up at night to pray Tahajjud he said laka Alhamdu anta nurus samawati Alardi wa man fihinna wa laka Alhamdu anta qayamus samawati wal ardi wa man fihinna wa laka Alhamdu anta haqqun wa waduka haqqun wal jannatu haqqun wan nuru haqqun wan nabiyuna haqqun wa Muhammadan haqqun laka aslant wa alaika tawakkaltu wa bika amant
- Abu Salamah Bin Abdulrahman said I asked Aishah With what did the Prophet start his prayer She said When he got up to pray at night he would start his prayer with the words Rabba Jibril wa Maikail wa Israfil Fatirus samawati Alard alim Alghaybi wash shahadah anta tahkumu bayna ibadika fima kanu fihi yakhtalifun ihdini limakktulifa fihi min Alhaqq innaka tahdi man tashaila siratin mustaqim O Allah Lord of Jibril Mikail and Israfil Creator of the heavens and the earth Knower of the unseen and the seen You judge between Your slaves concerning wherein they differ
- It was narrated from Jabir Bin Abdullah that When the Prophet bowed he said laka rakatu wa bika amantu wa laka aslamtu wa alayka tawakaltu anta Rabbi khashaa sami wa basri wa dammi wa lahmi wa azmi wa asabi Lillahi Rabbi AlAlamin O Allah to You I have bowed in You I believe to You I have submitted and in You I put my trust

- asaluka khashyataka fi Alghaibi wash shahadati wa asaluka kalimat Alaqua fir ridai wal ghadab wa asaluka Alqasda fil faqr Alghina wa asaluka naiman la yanfadu wa asaluka qurrata ainan la tanqatiu wa asalukar ridai bada Alqadai wa asaluka bardal aishi bada Almawti wa asaluka ladhatan nazari ila wajhika wash shawqa ila liqaika fi fitnatin mudillatin zayina dizinati Alimani wajalna hudatan muhtadin O Alah by Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over creation keep me alive so long as You know that living is good for me and cause me to die when You know that death is better for me
- He said And I said a supplication that the Prophet used to say bi ilmika Alghaiba wa qudratika ala Alkhalqi ahini ma alimta Almodesty selfrespect bashfulness scrupleta khairan li wa tawaffani idha alimta Alwafata khairan li
- asaluka khashyataka fi Alghaibi wash shahadati wa asaluka kalimat Alaqua fir ridai wal ghadab wa asaluka Alqasda fil faqr Alghina wa asaluka naiman la yanfadu wa asaluka qurrata ainan la tanqatiu wa asalukar ridai bada Alqadai wa asaluka bardal aishi bada Almawti wa asaluka ladhatan nazari ila wajhika wash shawqa ila liqaika fi fitnatin mudillatin zayina dizinati Alimani wajalna hudatan muhtadin O Allah by Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over creation keep me alive so long as You know that living is good for me and cause me to die when You know that death is better for me
- He said Shall I not teach you some words which you can say Subhan Allah adada khalqihi subhan Allah adada khalqihi subhan Allah adada khalqihi subhan Allah rida nafsihi subhan Allah rida nafsihi subhan Allah rida nafsihi Subhan Allah zinata arshihi Subhan Allah zinata arshihi Subhan Allah zinata arshihi Subhan Allah midada Kalamatihi Subhan Allah midada Kalamatihi Subhan Allah midada Kalamatihi Glory be to Allah the number of His creation glory be to Allah the number of His creation glory be to Allah the number of His creation glory be to Allah as much as pleases Him glory be to Allah as much as pleases Him glory be to Allah as much as pleases Him glory be to Allah the weight of His throne glory be to Allah the weight of His throne glory be to Allah the weight of His throne glory be to Allah the number of His words glory be to Allah the number of His words glory be to Allah the number of His words
- Abu Huraira reported The Messenger of Allah said to me they the people till constantly ask you Abu Huraira about different things pertaining to religion the they would say Well there is Allah but after all who created Allah He Abu Huraira narrated Once we were in the mosque that some of the Bedouins came there and said Well there is Allah but who created Allah He the narrator said I took hold of the pebbles in my fist and flung at them and remarked Stand up stand up go away my friend the Holy Prophet told the truth
- Abu Huraira reported that Allah Messenger took hold of my hands and said Allah the Exalted and Glorious created the clay on Saturday and He created the mountains on Sunday and He created the trees on Monday and He created the things entailing labour on Tuesday and created light on Wednesday and He caused the animals to spread on Thursday and created Adam peace be upon him after Asr on Friday the last creation at the last hour of the hours of Friday i
- If one sees a dream which one does not like one should spit on one left side and seek the refuge of Allah from the satan it will not do one any harm and one should not disclose it to anyone and if one sees a good vision one should feel pleased but should not disclose it to anyone but whom one loves
- Now after this he Dimad said Repeat these words of yours before me and the messenger of Allah repeated these to him thrice and he said I have heard the words of soothsayers and the words of magicians and the words of poets but I have never heard such words as yours and they reach the depth of the ocean of eloquence bring forth your hand so that I should take oath of fealty to you on Islam
- He said it consisted of saying Glory be to Allah as many times as the number of that which He has created in Heaven Glory be to Allah as many times as the number of that which He has created on Earth Glory be to Allah as many times as the number of that which He has created between them Glory be to Allah as many times as the number of that which He is creating Allah is most great a similar number of times Praise be to Allah a similar number of times and There is no god but Allah a similar number of times There is no might and no power except in Allah a similar number of times
- If you wish I shall stay with you seven nights and if I stay with you seven nights I shall stay with my other wives seven nights
- He replied It may be otherwise Aishah for Allah created Paradise and created those who will go to it and He created it for them when they were still in their fathers loins and he created hell and created those who will go to it and created it for them when they were still in their fathers loins
- Ibn Abbas said When the Messenger of Allah stood up for praying at midnight he said o Allah be praise to Thee Thou art the light of the heavens and the earth and to Thee be praise Thou are the maintainer of the heavens and the earth and to Thee be praise Thou art the heavens and the earth and what is between them Thou art the truth and Thy statement is truth and Thy promise is the truth and the visitation with Thee is true and the Paradise is true and the Hel Alfire is true and the Hour is true O Allah to Thee I turned my attention and by Thee I disputed and to Thee I brought forth my case so forgive me my former and latter sins and my secret and open sins Thou art my deity there is no deity but Thou
- It was narrated that Abu Huraira said The Messenger of Allah said When one of you enters the Masjid he is in a state of prayer so long as the prayer keeps him there and the angels will send prayer upon anyone of you so long as he remains in the place where he prayed saying O Allah forgive him O Allah have mercy on him O Allah accept his repentance so long as he does not commit Hadath nor disturb anyone
- Aisha narrated that the Messenger of Allah said If a slave woman commits fornication then whip her and if she commits fornication then whip her and if she commits fornication then whip her then sell her even if that is for a rope
- Malik said As for a man who buys out the share of one of his partners and oneof the other partners says I will take a portion according to myshare and the first partner says If you wish to take all thepreemption I will give it up to you
- Inthe case of some one who bought along with a section of a shared houseor land an animal and goods that were not shared so that when anyone demanded his right of pre emption in the house or land he said Take what I have bought altogether for I bought it altogether Malik said The pre emptor need only take possession of the house orland
- Yahya said that he heard Maliksay What is done in our community about two men who have a disputeabout an amount of money loaned on the security of a pledge thepledger claiming that he pledged it for ten dinars and the brokerinsisting that he took the pledge as security for twenty dinars andthe pledge is clearly in the possession of the broker is that thebroker is made to take an oath when the value of the pledge is fullyknown
