The Prophet ﷺ stopped to give the people verdicts. In the meantime; a beautiful woman From the tribe of Khatham came; asking the verdict of Allah Messenger ﷺ. AlFadl started looking at her as her beauty attracted him. The Prophet ﷺ looked behind while AlFadl was looking at her; so the Prophet ﷺ held out his hand backwards and caught the chin of AlFadl and turned his face to the owner sides in order that he should not gaze at her. She said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! The obligation of Performing Hajj enjoined by Allah on His worshipers; has become due compulsory on my father who is an old man and who cannot sit firmly on the riding animal. Will it be sufficient that I perform Hajj on his behalf? He said; Yes. SahihMuslim-017-001-23001		Usama Bin Zaid Allah be pleased with him reported: I was sitting behind Allah Messenger ﷺ on the riding animal from Arafat. As Allah Messenger ﷺ reached the left side of the mountain which was situated near Muzdalifa; he made the camel kneel down and made water and then came back. I poured water and he; performed light ablution. I then said: Messenger of Allah; it is time for prayer. Thereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said: The prayer awaits you at the next station; Muzdalifa. Allah Messenger may peaced be upon him rode on until he came to Muzdalifa and observed prayer. Then AlFadl Allah be pleased with him sat behind Allah Messenger ﷺ and reached Muzdalifa in the morning. Kuraib said: Abdullah Bin Abbas Allah be pleased with them narrated from AlFadl Allah be pleased with him that Allah Messenger ﷺ continued pronouncing Talbiya until he reached AlJamara AlAqaba. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-8407		Ali Bin Abi Talib; may Allah be pleased with him; narrated: The Messenger of Allah stopped at Arafat and said: This is Arafat and it is a place of standing. And all of Arafat is a place for standing. Then he departed when the sun had set and took Usamah Bin Zaid as a companion rider; and he was motioning with his hand as was his custom; and the people were striking their camels on the right and the left to try and catch them; so he said: O you people! Be calmm. Then he came to Jama and performed the two Prayer there combined. When the morning came; he went to Quzah and stood there and said: This is Quzah; and it is a place of standing; and all of Jama is a place for standing. Then he departed until he arrived at Wadi Muhassir. Then he stuck his camel and she trotted until he passed the valley. Then he stopped and took AlFadl as a companion rider and went to the Jamrah to stone it. Then he went to AlManhar and said: This is AlManhar; and all of Mina is a place for sacrifice. A young girl from Khatham came to ask him for a verdict; she said: Indeed my father is an elderly man who has lived until Allah has made Hajj obligatory; so would he be rewarded if I perform Hajj for him? He said: Perform Hajj for your father. He said: And he turned the neck of AlFadl. So AlAbbas said: O Messenger of Allah! Why did you turn the neck of your cousin? He said: I saw a young man and a young woman; and they were not safe from Shaitan. A man came to him and said; O Messenger of Allah! I performed Tawaf AlIfadah before shaving. He said: Shave; and there is no harm - or: Clip and there is no harm He said: Someone else came and said: O Messenger of Allah! I did the sacrifice before stoning. So he said: Stone; and there is no harm. He said: Then he went to the House Kabah to perform Tawaf around it; then he went to Zamzam and said: O tribe of Abd AlMuttalib! If it were not that the people would rush upon you then I would remove it. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-29256		Narrated AbdulMuttalib Ibn Rabiah Ibn AlHarith: AbdulMuttalib Ibn Rabiah Ibn AlHarith said that his father; Rabiah Ibn AlHarith; and Abbas Ibn AlMuttalib said to AbdulMuttalib Ibn Rabiah and AlFadl Ibn Abbas: Go to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and tell him: Messenger of Allah; we are now of age as you see; and we wish to marry. Messenger of Allah; you are the kindest of the people and the most skilled in matchmaking. Our fathers have nothing with which to pay our dower. So appoint us collector of sadaqah zakat ; Messenger of Allah; and we shall give you what the other collectors give you; and we shall have the benefit accruing from it. Ali came to us while we were in this condition. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: No; I swear by Allah; he will not appoint any of you collector of sadaqah zakat. Rabiah said to him: This is your condition; you have gained your relationship with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ by marriage; but we did not grudge you that. Ali then put his cloak on the earth and lay on it. He then said: I am the father ofHassan the chief. I swear by Allah; I shall not leave this place until your sons come with a reply to the question for which you have sent them to the Prophet ﷺ. AbdulMuttalib said: So I and AlFadl went towards the door of the apartment of the Prophet ﷺ. We found that the noon prayer in congregation had already started. So we prayed along with the people. I and AlFadl then hastened towards the door of the apartment of the Prophet ﷺ. He was staying with Zaynab; daughter of Jahsh; that day. We stood until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came. He caught my ear and the ear of AlFadl. He then said: Reveal what you conceal in your hearts. He then entered and permitted me and AlFadl to enter. So we entered and for a little while we asked each other to talk. I then talked to him; or AlFadl talked to him the narrator; Abdullah was not sure. He said: He spoke to him concerning the matter about which our fathers ordered us to ask him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained silent for a moment and raised his eyes towards the ceiling of the room. He took so long that we thought he would not give any reply to us. Meanwhile we saw that Zaynab was signalling to us with her hand from behind the veil; asking us not to be in a hurry; and that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was thinking about our matter. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then lowered his head and said to us: This sadaqah zakat is a dirt of the people. It is legal neither for Muhammad nor for the family of Muhammad. Call Nawfal Ibn AlHarith to me. So Nawfal Ibn AlHarith was called to him. He said: Nawfal; marry AbdulMuttalib to your daughter. So Nawfal married me to his daughter. The Prophet ﷺ then said: Call Mahmiyah Ibn Jazi to me. He was a man of Banu Zubayd; whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had appointed collector of the fifths. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Mahmiyah: Marry AlFadl to your daughter. So he married him to her. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Stand up and pay the dower from the fifth so-and-so on their behalf. Abdullah Ibn AlHarith did not name it i.e. the amount of the dower. AlFadl began to look at her; and she at him; and the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; turned Fadl face away to the other side. The woman said; Messenger of Allah; Allah making the hajj obligatory finds my father a very old man; unable to stay firm on his riding-beast. Can I do hajj for him?; and he said; Yes.
