SahihMuslim-017-001-18715 | It is narrated on the authority of Abdulldh Bin Umar that one day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned in the presence of people about AlMasih AlDajjal. He said: Verily Allah hallowed be He and High is not blind of one eye. Behold; but the Masih AlDajjal is blind of right eye as if his eye is like a swollen grape; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I was shown in a dream in the night that near the Kabah there was a man fair-complexioned; fine amongst the white-complexioned men that you ever saw; his locks of hair were falling on his shoulders. He was a man whose hair were neither too curly nor too straight; and water trickled down from his head. He was placing his bands on the shoulders of two persons and amidst them was making a circuit around the Kabah. I said: Who is he? They replied: AlMasih son of Mary. And I saw behind him a man with intensely curly hair; blind of right eye. Amongst the persons I have ever seen Ibn Qatan has the greatest resemblance with him. He was making a circuit around the Kabah by placing both his hands on the shoulders of two persons. I said: Who is he? They said; It is AlMasih AlDajjal. | The Chapter on Grooming The Man in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 75 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-21209 | Muhammad one of the narrators reported: I asked Anas Bin Malik Allah be pleased with him knowing that he had a knowledge of the case of lian. He said: Hilal Bin Umaya Allah be pleased with him accused his wife with the charge of fornication with Sharik Bin Sahma; the brother of AlBarab Malik from the side of his mother. And he was the first person who invoked curse lian in Islam. He in fact invoked curse upon her. Allah Messenger ﷺ said: See to her if she gives birth to a white-complexioned child having dark hair and bright eyes; he must be the son of Hilal Bin Umaya; and if she gives birth to a child with dark eyelids; curly hair and lean shanks; he must be the offspring of Sharik Bin Sahma. He said: I was informed that she gave birth to a child having dark eyelids; curly hair and lean shanks. | The Chapter on Grooming The Child in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 1 in Sahih Muslim |

SunanAlNasai-017-001-14968 | It was narrated that Muhammad said: I asked Anas Bin Malik about that; as I thought that he had knowledge of that. He said: Hilal Bin Umayah accused his wife of committing adultery with Sharik Bin AlSahma; who was the brother of AlBara Bin Malik through his mother. He was the first one who engaged in the procedure of Lian. The Messenger of Allah conducted the procedure of Lian between them; then he said: Look and see; if she produces a child who is white; with straight hair and Qadiya eyes; then he belongs to Hilal Bin Umayah; and if she produces a child who has dark lines around his eyes; curly hair and narrow calves; then he belongs to Sharik Bin AlSahma. I was told that she produced a child who has dark lines around his eyes; curly hair and narrow calves. | The Chapter on Grooming The Child in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Lian Because Of The Man Accusing His Wife Of Adultery With A Specific Person in Sunan AlNasai
SunanAlNasai-017-001-14969 | It was narrated that Anas Bin Malik said: The first Lian in Islam was when Hilal Bin Umayah accused Sharik Bin AlSahma of committing adultery with his wife. He came to the Prophet and told him about that. The Prophet said: Bring four witnesses; otherwise you will feel the Hadd punishment on your back. And he repeated that several times. Hilal said to him: By Allah; O Messenger of Allah! Allah; the Mighty and Sublime; knows that I am telling the truth; and Allah; the Mighty and Sublime; will certainly reveal to you that which will spare my back from the whip. While they were like that; the Verse of Lian was revealed to him: As to those who accuse their wives. He called Hilal and he bore witness four times by Allah that he was telling the truth; and the fifth time he invoked the curse of Allah upon him if he were lying. Then he called the woman and she bore witness four times by Allah that he was lying. When it came to the fourth or fifth time; the Messenger of Allah said: Stop her; for it will inevitably bring the punishment of Allah upon the liar. She hesitated until we thought that she was going to confess; then she said: I will not dishonor my people today. Then she went ahead with the oath. The Messenger of Allah said: Wait and see. If she produces a child who is white; with straight hair and Qadiya eyes; then he belongs to Hilal Bin Umayah; but if she produces a child who is dark with curly hair; of average size and with narrow calves; then he belongs to Sharik Bin AlSahma. She produced a child who was dark with curly hair; of average size and with narrow calves. The Messenger of Allah said: Had not the matter been settled by the Book of Allah; I would have punished her severely. | The Chapter on Grooming The Child in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on How Lian Is Carried Out in Sunan AlNasai |
