Here is a similitude: How rain and the growth which it brings forth, delight (the hearts of) the tillers; soon it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then it becomes dry and crumbles away. But in the Hereafter is a Penalty severe (for the devotees of wrong). And Forgiveness from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure (for the devotees of Allah). And what is the life of this world, but goods and chattels of deception?

Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward.

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6689		Narrated Jarir: While I was at Yemen; I met two men from Yemen called Dhu Kala and Dhu Amr; and I started telling them about Allah Messenger ﷺ. Dhu Amr said to me; If what you are saying about your friend i.e. the Prophet is true; then he has died three days ago. Then both of them accompanied me to Medina; and when we had covered some distance on the way to Medina; we saw some riders coming from Medina. We asked them and they said; Allah Messenger ﷺ has died and Abu Bakr has been appointed as the Caliph and the people are in a good state. Then they said; Tell your friend Abu Bakr that we have come to visit him ; and if Allah will; we will come again. So they both returned to Yemen. When I told Abu Bakr their statement; he said to me; I wish you had brought them to me. Afterwards I met Dhu Amr; and he said to me; O Jarir! You have done a favor to me and I am going to tell you something; i.e. you; the nation of Arabs; will remain prosperous as long as you choose and appoint another chief whenever a former one is dead. But if authority is obtained by the power of the sword; then the rulers will become kings who will get angry; as kings get angry; and will be delighted as kings get delighted. SahihMuslim-017-001-19327		AlBara Bin Azib reported Allah Messenger ﷺ as saying that Allah Messenger ﷺ said: What is your opinion about the delight of a person whose camel loaded with the provisions of food and drink is lost and that moves about with its nosestring trailing upon the waterless desert in which there is neither food nor drink; and lie wanders about in search of that until he is completely exhausted and then accidentally it happens to pass by the trunk of a tree and its nosestring gets entangled in that and he finds it entangled therein? He in response to the question of the Holy Prophet said: Allah Messenger; he would feel highly delighted. Thereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said. By Allah; Allah is more delighted at the repentance of His servant than that person as he finds his lost camel. SahihMuslim-017-001-24509		Jabir Bin Abdullah reported that Banu Salama decided to shift near the Masjid as there were some plots vacant. This news reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; whereupon he said: O people of the Salama tribe; you better stay in your houses where you are living ; for your footsteps are recorded They said. We could not be more delighted even by shifting near the Masjid as we were delighted on hearing these words from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
