SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1116Narrated Aisha: I never felt so jealous of any woman as I felt of Khadija; for Allah ordered him the Prophet ﷺ to give Khadija the glad tidings of a palace in Paradise for her.Chapter on Intercession with Him profits not except for him whom He permits in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-174Narrated Jabir Bin Abdullah: Allah Messenger ﷺ sent me for some job and when I had finished it I returned and came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him but he did not return my greeting. So I felt so sorry that only Allah knows it and I said to myself;; Perhaps Allah Messenger ﷺ is angry because I did not come quickly; then again I greeted him but he did not reply. I felt even more sorry than I did the first time. Again I greeted him and he returned the greeting and said; The thing which prevented me from returning the greeting was that I was praying. And at that time he was on his Rahila and his face was not towards the Qibla. The Chapter on Mercy Vs Evil in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on One should not return greetings during the Salat in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3611Narrated Asma bint Abu Bakr: When AlZubair married me; he had no real property or any slave or anything else except a camel which drew water from the well; and his horse. I used to feed his horse with fodder and drew water and sew the bucket for drawing it; and prepare the dough; but I did not know how to bake bread. So our Ansari neighbors used to bake bread for me; and they were honorable ladies. I used to carry the date stones on my head from AlZubair land given to him by Allah Messenger ﷺ and this land was two third Farsakh about two miles from my house. One day; while I was coming with the date stones on my head; I met Allah Messenger ﷺ along with some Ansari people. He called me and then; directing his camel to kneel down said; Ikh! Ikh! so as to make me ride behind him on his camel. I felt shy to travel with the men and remembered AlZubair and his sense of Ghira; as he was one of those people who had the greatest sense of Ghira. Allah Messenger ﷺ noticed that I felt shy; so he proceeded. I came to AlZubair and said; I met Allah Messenger ﷺ while I was carrying a load of date stones on my head; and he had some companions with him. He made his camel kneel down so that I might ride; but I felt shy in his presence and remembered your sense of Ghira See the glossary. On that AlZubair said; By Allah; your carrying the date stones and you being seen by the Prophet ﷺ in such a state is more shameful to me than your riding with him. I continued serving in this way till Abu Bakr sent me a servant to look after the horse; whereupon I felt as if he had set me free. The Chapter on Good Manners And Ghira in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on AlGhaira ie honour prestige or selfrespect in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4633Narrated Jabir Bin Abdullah: I participated in a Ghazwa along with Allah Messenger ﷺ The Prophet ﷺ met me on the way while I was riding a camel of ours used for irrigation and it had got so tired that it could hardly walk. The Prophet ﷺ asked me; What is wrong with the camel? I replied; It has got tired. So. Allah Messenger ﷺ came from behind it and rebuked it and prayed for it so it started surpassing the other camels and going ahead of them. Then he asked me; How do you find your camel now ? I replied; I find it quite well; now as it has received your blessings. He said; Will you sell it to me? I felt shy to refuse his offer though it was the only camel for irrigation we had. So; I said; Yes. He said; Sell it to me then. I sold it to him on the condition that I should keep on riding it till I reached Medina. Then I said; O Allah Apostle! I am a bridegroom; and requested him to allow me to go home. He allowed me; and I set out for Medina before the people till I reached Medina; where I met my uncle; who asked me about the camel and I informed him all about it and he blamed me for that. When I took the permission of Allah Messenger ﷺ he asked me whether I had married a virgin or a matron and I replied that I had married a matron. He said; Why hadnt you married a virgin who would have played with you; and you would have played with her? I replied; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! My father died or was martyred and I have some young sisters; so I felt it not proper that I should marry a young girl like them who would neither teach them manners nor serve them. So; I have married a matron so that she may serve them and teach them manners. When Allah Messenger ﷺ arrived in Medina; I took the camel to him the next morning and he gave me its price and gave me the camel itself as well. The Chapter on Camels And Herdsmen And Almedinah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Asking the permission of the Imam in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6691Narrated Jabir Bin Abdullah: Allah Messenger ﷺ sent us who were three-hundred riders under the command of Abu Ubaida Bin AlJarrah in order to watch the caravan of the Quraish pagans. We stayed at the seashore for half a month and were struck with such severe hunger that we ate even the Khabt i.e. the leaves of the Salam; a thorny desert tree ; and because of that; the army was known as Jaish AlKhabt. Then the sea threw out; an animal i.e. a fish called AlAnbar and we ate of that for half a month; and rubbed its fat on our bodies till our bodies returned to their original state i.e. became strong and healthy. Abu Ubaida took one of its ribs; fixed it on the ground; then he went to the tallest man of his companions to let him pass under the rib. Once Sufyan said; He took a rib from its parts and fixed it; and then took a man and camel and they passed from underneath it without touching it. Jabir added: There was a man amongst the people who slaughtered three camels and then slaughtered another three camels and then slaughtered other three camels; and then Abu Ubaida forbade him to do so. Narrated Abu Salih: Qais Bin Saad said to his father. I was present in the army and the people were struck with severe hunger. He said; You should have slaughtered camels for them. Qais said; I did slaughter camels but they were hungry again. He said; You should have slaughtered camels again. Qais said; I did slaughter camels again but the people felt hungry again. He said; You should have slaughtered camels again. Qais said; I did slaughter camels again; but the people again felt hungry. He said; You should have slaughtered camels again. SahihMuslim-017-001-17369Ubada Bin AlSamit reported that whenever Allah Apostle ﷺ received revelation; he felt its rigour and the complexion of his face changed. One day revelation descended upon him; he felt the same rigour. When it was over and he felt relief; he said: Take from me. Verily Allah has ordained a way for them the women who commit fornication ;: When a married man commits adultery with a married woman; and an unmarried male with an unmarried woman; then in case of married persons there is a punishment of one hundred lashes and then stoning to death. SahihMuslim-017-001-20220Asma daughter of Abu Bakr reported that the was married to Zubair. He had neither land nor wealth nor slave nor anything else like it except a bom. She further said: I grazed his horse. provided fodder to it and looked after it; and ground dates for his camel. Besides this; I grazed the camel; made arrangements for providing it with water and patched up the leather bucket and kneaded the flour. But I was not proficient in baking the bread; so my female neighbours used to bake bread for me and they were sincere women. She further said: I was carrying on my head the stones of the dates from the land of AlZubair which Allah Messenger ﷺ had endowed him and it was at a distance of two miles from Medina. She add: As I was one day carrying the atones of dates upon my head I happened to meet Allah Messenger ﷺ along with a group of his Companions. He called me and said to the camel to sit down so that he should make cite ride behind hirn. I told my husband: I felt shy and remembered your jealousy; whereupon he said: By Allah. the carrying of the stone dates upon your bead is more severe a burden than riding with him. She said: I led the life of hardship until Abu Bakr sent afterwards a female servant who took upon herself the responsibility of looking after the horse and I felt as it she had emancipated me.The Chapter on Food And Camels in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 14 in Sahih Muslim

SahihMuslim-017-001-24192Muawiya Bin AlHakam said: While I was praying with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; a man in the company sneezed. I said: Allah have mercy on you! The people stared at me with disapproving looks; so I said: Woe be upon me; why is it that you stare at me? They began to strike their hands on their thighs; and when I saw them urging me to observe silence I became angry but I said nothing. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said the prayer and I declare that neither before him nor after him have I seen a leader who gave better instruction than he for whom I would give my father and mother as ransom. I swear that he did not scold; beat or revile me but said: Talking to persons is not fitting during the prayer; for it consists of glorifying Allah; declaring his Greatness. and recitation of the Quran or words to that effect. I said: Messenger of Allah. I was till recently a pagan; but Allah has brought Islam to us; among us there are men who have recourse to Kahins. He said; Do not have recourse to them. I said. There are men who take omens. That is something which they find in their breasts; but let it not turn their way from freedom of action. I said: Among us there are men who draw lines. He said: There was a prophet who drew lines; so if they do it as they did; that is allowable. I had a maid-servant who tended goats by the side of Uhud and Jawaniya. One day I happened to pass that way and found that a wolf had carried a goat from her flock. I am after all a man from the posterity of Adam. I felt sorry as they human beings feel sorry. So I slapped her. I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and felt this act of mine as something grievous I said: Messenger of Allah; should I not grant her freedom? He the Holy Prophet said: Bring her to me. So I brought her to him. He said to her: Where is Allah? She said: He is in the heaven. He said: Who am I? She said: Thou art the Messenger of Allah. He said: Grant her freedom; she is a believing woman. The Chapter on Lost And Found And Holly Matters in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 7 in Sahih Muslim
