SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5571		Narrated Mujahid: Urwa Bin AlZubair and I entered the Masjid of the Prophet and saw Abdullah Bin Umar sitting near the dwelling place of Aisha and some people were offering the Duha prayer. We asked him about their prayer and he replied that it was a heresy. He Urwa then asked him how many times the Prophet ﷺ had performed Umra. He replied; Four times; one of them was in the month of Rajab. We disliked to contradict him. Then we heard Aisha; the Mother of faithful believers cleaning her teeth with Siwak in the dwelling place. Urwa said; O Mother! O Mother of the believers! Dont you hear what Abu Abdulrahman is saying? She said; What does he say? Urwa said; He says that Allah Messenger ﷺ performed four Umra and one of them was in the month of Rajab. Aisha said; May Allah be merciful to Abu Abdulrahman The Prophet ﷺ did not perform any Umra except that he was with him; and he never performed any Umra in Rajab. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6705		Narrated Abu Raja AlUtaridi: We used to worship stones; and when we found a better stone than the first one; we would throw the first one and take the latter; but if we could not get a stone then we would collect some earth i.e. soil and then bring a sheep and milk that sheep over it; and perform the Tawaf around it. When the month of Rajab came; we used to stop the military actions ; calling this month the iron remover; for we used to remove and throw away the iron parts of every spear and arrow in the month of Rajab. Abu Raja added: When the Prophet ﷺ sent with Allahs Message; I was a boy working as a shepherd of my family camels. SahihMuslim-017-001-20410		Abdullah. the freed slave of Asma the daughter of Abu Bakr. the maternal uncle of the son of Ata; reported: Asma sent me to Abdullah Bin Umar saying: The news has reached me that you prohibit the use of three things: the striped robe. saddle cloth made of red silk. and the fasting in the holy month of Rajab. Abdullah said to me: So far as what you say about fasting in the month of Rajab; how about one who observes continuous fasting? -and so far as what you say about the striped garment; I heard Umar Bin Khatab say that he had heard from Allah Messenger ﷺ : He who wears silk garment has no share for him in the Hereafter ; and I am afraid it may not be that striped garment; and so far as the red saddle clotb is concerned that is the saddle cloth of Abdullah and it is red. I went back to Asma and informed her. whereupon she said: Here is the cloak of Allah Messenger ﷺ. and she brought out to me that cloak made of Persian cloth with a hem of brocade; and its sleeves bordered with brocade and said: This wall Allah Messenger cloak with Aisha until she died; and when she died. I got possession of it. The Apostle of Allah ﷺ used to wear that; and we waslied it for the sick and sought cure thereby. SahihMuslim-017-001-22950		Ataa reported that Urwa Bin AlZubair Allah be pleased with him had informed him this : I and Ibn Umar were reclining against the wall of the apartment of Aisha and we were listening to the sound produced by the brushing of her teeth. I said Abu Abdulrahman the kunya of Abdullah Bin Umar ; did Allah Apostle ﷺ perform Umra in the month of Rijab? He said: Yes. I said to Aisha: Mother; are you listening to what Abu Abd AlRabman is saying? She said: What is he Saying? I said: He is saying that Allah Apostle ﷺ performed Umra during the month of Rajab; whereupon she said: May Allah grant pardon to Abu Abdulrahman I By my life he the Holy Prophet did not perform Umra during the month of Rajab. And never was there an Umra performed by him the Holy Prophet in which he Abdullah Bin Umar did not join him. Ibn Umar heard this and said nothing to affirm It or to deny it; but kept quiet. SahihMuslim-017-001-22951		Mujahid reported: I and Urwah Bin AlZubair entered the Masjid and found Abdullah Bin Umar sitting near the apartment of Aisha and the people were observing the forenoon prayer when the sun had sufficiently risen. We asked him about their prayer; and he said: It is bida innovation ; Urwah said to him: O Abu Abdulrahman how many umrahs did Allah Messenger ﷺ perform? He said: Four umrahs; one he performed during the month of Rajab. We were reluctant either to believe him or reject him. We heard the noise of brushing of her teeth by Aisha in her apartment. Urwah said: Mother of the Faithful; are you not hearing what Abi Abdulrahman is saying? She said: What is he saying? Thereupon he Urwah said: He Ibn Umar states that Allah Apostle ﷺ performed four umrahs and one of them during the month of Rajab. Thereupon she remarked: May Allah have mercy upon Abu Abdulrahman Never did Allah Messenger ﷺ perform Umrah in which he did not accompany him; and he Allah Apostle never performed Umrah during the month of Rajab.
