The Prophet ﷺ said to Abbas; O Abbas ! are you not astonished at the love of Mughith for Barira and the hatred of Barira for Mughith? The Prophet ﷺ then said to Barira; Why dont you return to him? She said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Do you order me to do so? He said; No; I only intercede for him. She said; I am not in need of him. The Prophet SAWSYMOBOL said to AlAbbas: O Abbas; are you not amazed by the love of Mughith for Barirah and the hatred of Barirah for Mughith? The Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL said to her: Why dont you take him back; for he is the father of your child? She said: O Messenger of Allah; are you commanding me to do so ? He said: I am just interceding. She said: I have no need of him.
