SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2126		Narrated Amr Bin Auf: An ally of the tribe of Bani Amir Bin Louai and one of those who had witnessed the battle of Badr with Allah Messenger ﷺ Allah Messenger ﷺ sent Abu Ubaida Bin AlJarrah to Bahrain to collect the Jizya tax. Allah Messenger ﷺ had concluded a peace treaty with the people of Bahrain and appointed AlAla Bin AlHadrami as their chief; Abu Ubaida arrived from Bahrain with the money. The Ansar heard of Abu Ubaida arrival which coincided with the Fajr morning prayer led by Allah Messenger ﷺ. When the Prophet ﷺ finished the prayer; they came to him. Allah Messenger ﷺ smiled when he saw them and said; I think you have heard of the arrival of Abu Ubaida and that he has brought something. They replied; Yes; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said; Have the good news; and hope for what will please you. By Allah; I am not afraid that you will become poor; but I am afraid that worldly wealth will be given to you in abundance as it was given to those nations before you; and you will start competing each other for it as the previous nations competed for it; and then it will divert you from good as it diverted them. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-3812		Narrated Amr Bin Auf AlAnsari: who was an ally of Bam Amr Bin Louai and one of those who had taken part in the Ghazwa of Badr : Allah Messenger ﷺ sent Abu Ubaida Bin AlJarreh to Bahrain to collect the Jizya. Allah Messenger ﷺ had established peace with the people of Bahrain and appointed AlAla Bin AlHadrami as their governor. When Abu Ubaida came from Bahrain with the money; the Ansar heard of Abu Ubaida arrival which coincided with the time of the morning prayer with the Prophet. When Allah Messenger ﷺ led them in the morning prayer and finished; the Ansar approached him; and he looked at them and smiled on seeing them and said; I feel that you have heard that Abu. Ubaida has brought something? They said; Yes; O Allah Messenger ﷺ He said; Rejoice and hope for what will please you! By Allah; I am not afraid of your poverty but I am afraid that you will lead a life of luxury as past nations did; whereupon you will compete with each other for it; as they competed for it; and it will destroy you as it destroyed them. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6369		Narrated AlMiswar Bin Makhrama: That Amr Bin Auf; who was an ally of Bani Amir Bin Louai and one of those who fought at Badr in the company of the Prophet ﷺ ; said; Allah Messenger ﷺ sent Abu Ubaida Bin AlJarrah to Bahrain to bring the Jizya taxation from its people; for Allah Messenger ﷺ had made a peace treaty with the people of Bahrain and appointed AlAla Bin AlHadrami as their ruler. So; Abu Ubaida arrived with the money from Bahrain. When the Ansar heard of the arrival of Abu Ubaida on the next day they offered the morning prayer with the Prophet ﷺ and when the morning prayer had finished; they presented themselves before him. On seeing the Ansar; Allah Messenger ﷺ smiled and said; I think you have heard that Abu Ubaida has brought something? They replied; Indeed; it is so; O Allah Apostle! He said; Be happy; and hope for what will please you. By Allah; I am not afraid that you will be poor; but I fear that worldly wealth will be bestowed upon you as it was bestowed upon those who lived before you. So you will compete amongst yourselves for it; as they competed for it and it will destroy you as it did them. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-9704		AlMustawrad Bin Makhramah narrated that Amir Bin Awuf informed him- and he was an ally of Banu Amr Bin Luay who had participated with The Messenger of Allah s.a.w at the battle of Badr; he said: The Messenger of Allah s.a.w had dispatched Abu Ubaidah Bin AlJarrah; so he arrived with the wealth from AlBahrain. When the Ansar had heard of the arrival of Abu Ubaidah they were attending Prayer AlFajr. So the the Messenger of Allah s.a.w performed the Prayer and when he finished; they assembled before him. The Messenger of Allah s.a.w smiled when he saw them; then he said: I think that you heard that Abu Ubaidah has arrived with something? They said: Yes O Messenger of Allah! He said: Then receive good news; and hope for what will please you. By Allah! It is not poverty that I fear for you; but what I fear for you is that the world will be presented for you just as it was presented for those before you;then you will compete for it; just as they competed for it; and it will destroy you; just as it destroyed them.
