SahihAlBukhari-017-001-102 | Narrated Abdullah Bin Umar: I saw Allah Messenger ﷺ delaying the Maghrib prayer till he offered it along with the Isha prayer whenever he was in a hurry during the journey. Salim narrated; Ibn Umar used to do the same whenever he was in a hurry during the journey. And Salim added; Ibn Umar used to pray the Maghrib and Isha prayers together in AlMuzdalifa. Salim said; Ibn Umar delayed the Maghrib prayer because at that time he heard the news of the death of his wife Safiya bint Abi Ubaid. I said to him; The prayer is due. He said; Go on. Again I said; The prayer is due. He said; Go on; till we covered two or three miles. Then he got down; prayed and said; I saw the Prophet ﷺ praying in this way; whenever he was in a hurry during the journey. Abdullah bin Umar added; Whenever the Prophet was in a hurry; he used to delay the Maghrib prayer and then offer three rakat of the Maghrib and perform Taslim; and after waiting for a short while; Iqama used to be pronounced for the Isha prayer when he would offer two rakat and perform Taslim. He would never offer any optional prayer till the middle of the night when he used to pray the Tahajjud. | The Chapter on Maghrib Obligatory Prayers And Alquran in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Three Raka of Maghrib prayer during the journey in Sahih AlBukhari | |

Then when we approached Medina and were going to enter it ; the Prophet ﷺ said; Wait till you enter your homes at night in the first part of the night so that the ladies with unkempt hair may comb their hair; and those whose husbands have been absent for a long time may shave their pubic hair. SunanAlNasai-017-001-13907 | Aisha said: Shall I not tell you about the Prophet and I? We said: Yes. She said: When it was my night; he came in; placed his shoes by his feet; lay down his Rida upper garment ; and spread his Izar lower garment on his bed. As soon as he thought that I had gone to sleep; he put his shoes on slowly and picked up his Rida slowly. Then he opened the door slowly; went out and shut it slowly. I put my garment over my head; covered myself and put on my Izar lower garment ; and I set out after him until he came to AlBaqi; raised his hands three times and stood there for a long time. Then he left and I left; he hurried and I hurried; he ran and I ran; and I got there before him and entered the house. I had only just laid down when he came in and said: O Aisha; why are you out of breath? one of the reporters Sulaiman said: I thought he Ibn Wahb said: short of breath. He said: Either you tell me or the All-Aware; All-Knowing will tell me. I said: O Messenger of Allah; may my father and mother be sacrificed for you; and I told him the story. He said: You were the black shape I saw in front of me? I said: Yes. She said: He gave me a shove in the chest that hurt me and said: You thought that Allah and His Messenger would be unfair to you. She said: Whatever people conceal; Allah; the Mighty and Sublime; knows it. He said: Yes. He said: Jibril came to me when you saw me leave but he did not enter upon you because you have taken off your garments. So he called me but he concealed himself from you; and I answered him but I concealed it from you. I thought that you had gone to sleep and I did not want to wake you and I was afraid that you would feel lonely. He told me to go to AlBaqi and pray for forgiveness for them. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-27462 | Narrated Ubadah Ibn AlSamit: We came to Jabir Ibn Abdullah who was sitting in his Masjid. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us in this Masjid and he had a twig of date-palm of the kind of Ibn Tab. He looked and saw phlegm on the wall towards qiblah. He turned to it and scraped it with the twig. He then said: Who of you likes that Allah turns His face from him? He further said: When any of you stands for praying; Allah faces him. So he should not spit before him; nor on his right side. He should spit on his left side under his left foot. If he is in a hurry i.e. forced to spit immediately ; he should do with his cloth in this manner. He then placed the cloth on his mouth and rubbed it off. He then said: Bring perfume. A young man of the tribe stood and hurried to his house and returned with perfume in his palm. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took it and put it at the end of the twig. He then stained the mark of phlegm with it. Jabir said: This is the reason you use perfume in your Masjids. | The Chapter on Body Parts And Facing The Qiblah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Spitting In A Masjid Is Disliked in Sunan Abu Dawoud |
