Somebody said to him; Why do you so frequently seek refuge with Allah from being in debt? The Prophet ﷺ replied; A person in debt tells lies whenever he speaks; and breaks promises whenever he makes them. Aisha also narrated: I heard Allah Messenger ﷺ in his prayer seeking refuge with Allah from the afflictions of AlDajjal. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-9342		Aisha narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to supplicate with these words: O Allah; indeed; I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Fire; and the punishment of the Fire; and the punishment of the grave; and the trial of the grave; and from the evil of the trial of the grave; and from the evil of the trials of riches; and from the evils of the trials of poverty; and from the evil of the trial of the false Masih. O Allah; wash my sins with water of ice and hail; and cleanse my heart of sins; as You cleansed a white garment of filth; and distance me and my sins as You distanced between the east and the west. O Allah; indeed; I seek refuge in You from laziness; senility; sin and debt. Allahumma inni audhu bika min fitnatin-nar; wa adhabin-nar; wa adhabil-qabr; wa fitnatil-qabr; wa min sharri fitnatil-ghina; wa min sharri fitnatil-faqr; wa min sharri fitnatil- masi<U+1E25>id-dajjal. O Allah; for You is all my Prayer; my sacrifice; my living and my dying. And to You is my return; and to You; my Lord; belongs my inheritance. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-9374		Muadh Bin Jabal narrated that the Prophet ﷺ heard a man supplicating; saying: O Allah! Verily; I ask You for the bounty completion Allahumma; inni asaluka tamaman-nimah. So he ﷺ said: What thing is the bounty completion? He said: A supplication that I made; that I hope for good by it. He ﷺ said: Indeed; part of the bounty completion is the entrance into Paradise; and salvation from the Fire. And he ﷺ heard a man while he was saying: O Possessor of Majesty and Honor Ya Dhal-Jalali AlIkram So he ﷺ said: You have been responded to; so ask. And the Prophet ﷺ heard a man while he was saying: O Allah; indeed; I ask You for patience Allahumma; inni asaluka<U+1E63>-<U+1E63>abr He ﷺ said: You have asked Allah for trial; so ask him for AlAfiyah. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-9425		Uthman Bin Hunaif narrated that a blind man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: Supplicate to Allah to heal me. He ﷺ said: If you wish I will supplicate for you; and if you wish; you can be patient; for that is better for you. He said: Then supplicate to Him. He said: So he ordered him to perform Ablution and to make his Ablution complete; and to supplicate with this supplication: O Allah; I ask You and turn towards You by Your Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ; the Prophet of Mercy. SunanAlNasai-017-001-17026		It was narrated that Anas Bin Malik said: I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and a man was standing and praying. When he bowed; prostrated and recited the tashahhud; he supplicated; and in his supplication he said: Allahumma inni asaluka bi-anna lakal-hamd; lailaha illa ant; Almannanu badius-samawati Alard; ya dhal-jalali Alikram! Ya hayu ya qayum! Inni asaluka. O Allah; indeed I ask You since all praise is due to You; there is none worthy of worship but You; the Bestower; the Creator of the heavens and earth; O Possessor of majesty and honor; O Ever-living; O-Eternal; I ask of You. The Prophet ﷺ said: Do you know what he has supplicated with? They said: Allah SWT and His Messenger know best. He said: By the One in Whose Hand is my soul; he called upon Allah by His greatest Name; which; if He is called by it; He responds; and if He is asked by it; He gives.
