SahihMuslim-017-001-19836Abu Huraira reported a hadith from Allah Messenger ﷺ ; one of them was this that Allah Messenger ﷺ said: None amongst you should point a weapon towards his brother; for he does not know that Satan might cause the weapon to slip from his hand and he may injure anyone and thus he may fall into Hell-Fire.The Chapter on Horses And Weapons in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 35 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-20364Abu AlSaib; the freed slaved of Hisham Bin Zuhra; said that he visited Abu Saeed Khudri in his house; and he further said: I found him saying his prayer; so I sat down waiting for him to finish his prayer when I heard a stir in the bundles of wood lying in a comer of the house. I looked towards it and found a snake. I jumped up in order to kill it; but he Abu Saeed Khudri made a gesture that I should sit down. So I sat down and as he finished the prayer he pointed to a room in the house and said: Do you see this room? I said: Yes. He said: There was a young man amongst us who had been newly wedded. We went with Allah Messenger ﷺ to participate in the Battle of Trench when a young man in the midday used to seek permission from Allah Messenger ﷺ to return to his family. One day he sought permission from him and Allah Messenger ﷺ after granting him the permission said to him: Carry your weapons with you for I fear the tribe of Quraidha may harm you. The man carried the weapons and then came back and found his wife standing between the two doors. He bent towards her smitten by jealousy and made a dash towards her with a spear in order to stab her. She said: Keep your spear away and enter the house until you see that which has made me come out. He entered and found a big snake coiled on the bedding. He darted with the spear and pierced it and then went out having fixed it in the house; but the snake quivered and attacked him and no one knew which of them died first; the snake or the young man. We came to Allah Apostle ﷺ and made a mention to him and said: Supplicate to Allah that that man may be brought back to life. Thereupon he said: Ask forgiveness for your companion and then said: There are in Medina jinns who have accepted Islam; so when you see any one of them; pronounce a warning to it for three days; and if they appear before you after that; then kill it for that is a devil. The Chapter on Premises in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 37 in Sahih Muslim

That is; Asr. They gathered their forces and advanced altogether. And Jibrail came to the Prophet ﷺ and told him to divide his Companions into two lines and lead them in prayer; and another group stood behind them on guard with their weapons. Then the other group came and prayed one Rakah with him. Then these people stood guard with their weapons; so each of them performed one Rakah while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed two Rakahs. The Chapter on Horses Islam And Alquran in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Chapters on Tafsir in Sunan AlTermithi

SunanAlNasai-017-001-14659Salamah Bin AlAkwa said: On the day of Khaibar; my brother fought fiercely alongside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; then his sword recoiled upon him and killed him. The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; complaining about that; said: A man has died by his own weapon. Salamah said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from Khaibar and I said: O Messenger of Allah; do you permit me to recite some lines of Rajaz verse to you? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave him permission but Umar Bin AlKhattab; may Allah be pleased with him; said: Think what you are saying. I said:By Allah; if Allah had not guided us we would not have been guided We would not have given in charity nor prayed The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: You have spoken the truth. I continued: Send down tranquility upon us; And make us steadfast when we meet the enemy. For the idolators have transgressed against us. When I completed my Rajaz verse; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who said that? I said: My brother. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: May Allah have mercy on him. I said: O Messenger of Allah; some people are afraid to offer the funeral prayer for him; and they are saying that he is a man who died by his own weapon. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He died striving as a Mujahid. Ibn Shihab said: Then I asked a son of Salamah Bin AlAkwa; and he narrated a similar report to me from his father; except that he said: When I said: Some people are afraid to offer the funeral prayer for him; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: They lied. He died striving as Mujahid; and he will have a twofold reward; and he gestured with two of his fingers. The Chapter on Horses And Khaiber in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The One Who Fights In The Cause Of Allah And His Sword Recoils Upon Him And Kills Him in Sunan AlNasai

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25720Narrated Ziyad Ibn Saad Ibn Dumayrah AlSulami: On the authority of his father Sad and his grandfather Dumayrah according to Mousa version who were present in the battle of Hunayn with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : After the advent of Islam; Muhallam Ibn Jaththamah AlLaythi killed a man of Ashja. That was the first blood-money decided by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for payment. Uyaynah spoke about the killing of AlAshjai; for he belonged to Ghatafan; and AlAqra Ibn Habis spoke on behalf of Muhallam; for he belonged to Khunduf. The voices rose high; and the dispute and noise grew. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do you not accept blood-money; Uyaynah? Uyaynah then said: No; I swear by Allah; until I cause his women to suffer the same fighting and grief as he caused my women to suffer. Again the voices rose high; and the dispute and noise grew. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do you not accept the blood-money Uyaynah? Uyaynah gave the same reply as before; and a man of Banu Layth called Mukaytil stood up. He had a weapon and a skin shield in his hand. He said: I do not find in the beginning of Islam any illustration for what he has done except the one that some sheep came on; and those in the front were shot; hence those in the rear ran away. The other example is that make a law today and change it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Fifty camels here immediately and fifty when we return to Medina. This happened during some of his journeys. Muhallam was a tall man of dark complexion. He was with the people. They continued to make effort for him until he was released. He sat before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; with his eyes flowing. He said: Messenger of Allah! I have done the act of which you have been informed. I repent to Allah; the Exalted; so ask Allah forgiveness for me. Messenger of Allah! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: Did you kill him with your weapon at the beginning of Islam. O Allah! do not forgive Muhallam. He said these words loudly. Abu Salamah added: He Muhallam then got up while he was wiping his tears with the end of his garment. Ibn Ishaq said: His people alleged that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked forgiveness for him after that.Abu Dawud said: AlNadr Bin Shumail said: Alghiyar means blood-wit.The Chapter on Whipping Punshiment In Crimes And Felonies in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The Imam Enjoining A Pardon In The Case Of Bloodshed in Sunan Abu Dawoud
SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-29766Awuf Bin malik AlAshjaI said I went out with Zaid Bin Harith in the battle of Mutah. For the reinforcement of the Muslim army a man from the people of Yemen accompanied me. He had only his sword with him. A man from the Muslims slaughtered a Camel. The man for the reinforcement asked him for a part of its skin which he gave him. He made it like the shape of a shield. We went on and met the Byzantine armies. There was a man among them on a reddish horse with a golden saddle and golden weapons. This Byzantinian soldiers began to attack the Muslims desperately. The man for reinforcement sat behind a rock for attacking him. He hamstrung his horse and overpowered him and then killed him. He took his horse and weapons. When Allah; Most High; bestowed victory on the Muslims. Khalid Bin AlWalid sent for him and took his spoils. Awuf said I came to him and said Khalid; do you know that the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ had decided to give spoils to the killer? He said Yes; I thought it abundant. I said You should return it to him; or I shall tell you about it before the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ. But he refused to return it. Awuf said We then assembled with the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ. I told him the story of the man of reinforcement and what Khalid had done. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ said Khalid; what made you do the work you have done? He said Apostle of Allaah ﷺ ; I considered it to be abundant. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ said Khalid; return it to him what you have taken from him. Awuf said I said to him here you are; Khalid. Did I not keep my word? The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ said What is that? I then informed him. He said The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ became angry and said Khalid; do not return it to him. Are you going to leave my commanders? You may take from them what is best for you and eave to them what is worst. The Chapter on Horses And Battels in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Regarding The Imam Denying The Spoils Salab To The Person Who Killed If He Sees Fit To And The Horse And Weapon Are Parts Of The Spoils Salab in Sunan Abu Dawoud
