SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1709		Narrated AlAswad: Aisha bought Barira in order to manumit her; but her masters stipulated that her Wala after her death would be for them. Aisha said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I have bought Barira in order to manumit her; but her masters stipulated that her Wala will be for them. The Prophet ﷺ said; Manumit her as the Wala is for the one who manumits the slave ; or said; The one who pays her price. Then Aisha bought and manumitted her. After that; Barira was given the choice by the Prophet to stay with her husband or leave him. She said; If he gave me so much and so much money I would not stay with him. AlAswad added: Her husband was a free man. The sub-narrator added: The series of the narrators of AlAswad statement is incomplete. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6916		Narrated AlAswad: While we were sitting in a circle in Abdullah gathering; Hudhaifa came and stopped before us; and greeted us and then said; People better than you became hypocrites. AlAswad said: I testify the uniqueness of Allah! Allah says: Verily! The hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire. 4.145 On that Abdullah smiled and Hudhaifa sat somewhere in the Masjid. Abdullah then got up and his companions sitting around him dispersed. Hudhaifa then threw a pebble at me to attract my attention. I went to him and he said; I was surprised at Abdullah smile though he understood what I said. Verily; people better than you became hypocrite and then repented and Allah forgave them. MuwataMalik-017-001-34597		Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya Ibn Said said that Muhammad Ibn Ibrahim AlTaymi had informed him that Abu Salama Ibn Abdulrahman said Abdulrahman Ibn AlAswad Ibn Abdal-Yaghuth used to sit with us and he had a white beard and hair. One day he came to us and he had dyed them red; and the people said to him; This is better. He said. Aisha the wife of the Prophet; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; sent her slave girl Nukhayla to me yesterday. She swore that my hair would be dyed and she informed me that Abu Bakr AlSiddiq used to dye his hair. Yahya said that he heard Malik say about dyeing the hair black; I have not heard anything certain on that; and other colours than that are preferable to me. Yahya said; Not to dye at all is permitted; Allah willing; and there is no constraint on people concerning it. Yahya said that he had heard Malik say; There is no clear indication in this hadith that the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; did not dye his hair. Had the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; dyed his hair; Aisha would have sent a message to that effect to Abdulrahman Ibn AlAswad.
