SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2863 | Narrated Aisha: Some Muslim men emigrated to Ethiopia whereupon Abu Bakr also prepared himself for the emigration; but the Prophet ﷺ said to him ; Wait; for I hope that Allah will allow me also to emigrate. Abu Bakr said; Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you. Do you hope that emigration ? The Prophet said; Yes. So Abu Bakr waited to accompany the Prophet ﷺ and fed two camels he had on the leaves of AlSamur tree regularly for four months One day while we were sitting in our house at midday; someone said to Abu Bakr; Here is Allah Messenger ﷺ ; coming with his head and a part of his face covered with a cloth-covering at an hour he never used to come to us. Abu Bakr said; Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you; O Prophet ! An urgent matter must have brought you here at this hour. The Prophet ﷺ came and asked the permission to enter; and he was allowed. The Prophet ﷺ entered and said to Abu Bakr; Let those who are with you; go out. Abu Bakr replied; There is no stranger ; they are your family. Let my father be sacrificed for you; O Allah Apostle! The Prophet ﷺ said; I have been allowed to leave Mecca. Abu Bakr said; I shall accompany you; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ; Let my father be sacrificed for you! The Prophet ﷺ said; Yes; Abu Bakr said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ s! Let my father be sacrificed for you. Take one of these two shecamels of mine The Prophet ﷺ said. I will take it only after paying its price. So we prepared their baggage and put their journey food In a leather bag. And Asma bint Abu Bakr cut a piece of her girdle and tied the mouth of the leather bag with it. That is why she was called Dhatan- Nitaqaln. Then the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr went to a cave in a mountain called Thour and remained there for three nights. Abdullah Bin Abu Bakr. who was a young intelligent man. used to stay with them at night and leave before dawn so that in the morning; he would he with the Quraish at Mecca as if he had spent the night among them. If he heard of any plot contrived by the Quraish against the Prophet and Abu Bakr; he would understand it and return to inform them of it when it became dark. Amir Bin Fuhaira; the freed slave of Abu Bakr used to graze a flock of milch sheep for them and he used to take those sheep to them when an hour had passed after the Isha prayer. And the day of AlHajj AlAkbar is the Day Of AlNahr; and it called AlAkbar because the people call the Umra AlHajj AlAsghar i.e. the minor Hajj. Sufyan in another narration said; I told Yahya a sub-narrator when I was a mere boy; Meccans say that the Prophet ﷺ allowed them the sale of the fruits on Araya by estimation. Yahya asked; How do the Meccans know about it? I replied; They narrated it from the Prophet ﷺ through Jabir. On that; Yahya kept quiet. Sufyan said; I meant that Jabir belonged to Medina. Sufyan was asked whether in Jabir narration there was any prohibition of selling fruits before their benefit is evident i.e. no dangers of being spoilt or blighted. He replied that there was none. | The Chapter on Agriculture Forbidden Sale Transactions in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The selling of dates still on trees in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5518 | Narrated Saeed Bin Abu Saeed AlMaqburi: Abu Shuraih; AlAdawi said that he had said to Amr Bin Saeed when he was sending the troops to Mecca to fight Abdullah Bin AlZubair ; O Chief! Allow me to tell you what Allah Messenger ﷺ said on the day following the Conquest of Mecca. My ears heard that and my heart understood it thoroughly and I saw with my own eyes the Prophet ﷺ when he; after Glorifying and Praising Allah; started saying; Allah; not the people; made Mecca a sanctuary; so anybody who has belief in Allah and the Last Day should neither shed blood in it; nor should he cut down its trees. If anybody tells argues that fighting in it is permissible on the basis that Allah Messenger ﷺ did fight in Mecca; say to him; Allah allowed His Apostle and did not allow you. Allah allowed me only for a few hours on that day of the conquest and today its sanctity is valid as it was before. So; those who are present should inform those who are absent concerning this fact. Abu Shuraih was asked; What did Amr reply? He said; Amr said O Abu Shuraih! I know better than you in this respect Mecca does not give protection to a sinner; a murderer or a thief. | The Chapter on Makkah And Praise Allah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on It is not permissible to cut the trees of the Haram in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5519 | Narrated Ibn Abbas: The Prophet ﷺ said; Allah has made Mecca; a sanctuary; so it was a sanctuary before me and will continue to be a sanctuary after me. It was made legal for me i.e. I was allowed to fight in it for a few hours of a day. It is not allowed to uproot its shrubs or to cut its trees; or to chase or disturb its game; or to pick up its luqata fallen things except by a person who would announce that what he has found publicly. AlAbbas said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Except AlIdhkhir a kind of grass for it is used by our goldsmiths and for our graves. The Prophet ﷺ then said; Except AlIdhkhir. Ikrima said; Do you know what chasing or disturbing the game means? It means driving it out of the shade to occupy its place. | The Chapter on Agriculture In The Sanctuary Of Makkah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The game in the Haram should not be chased in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5632 | Narrated Um-Atiya: We were forbidden to mourn for a dead person for more than three days except in the case of a husband for whom mourning was allowed for four months and ten days. During that time we were not allowed to put kohl Antimony eye power in our eyes or to use perfumes or to put on colored clothes except a dress made of Asr a kind of Yemen cloth; very coarse and rough. We were allowed very light perfumes at the time of taking a bath after menses and also we were forbidden to go with the funeral procession. | The Chapter on Special Days And Family in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Putting perfume by woman at the time of taking a bath after finishing from the menses in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5701 | Narrated Ibn Abbas: The people of the Pre-Islamic Period used to think that to perform Umra during the months of Hajj was one of the major sins on earth. And also used to consider the month of Safar as a forbidden i.e. sacred month and they used to say; When the wounds of the camel back heal up after they return from Hajj and the signs of those wounds vanish and the month of Safar passes away then at that time Umra is permissible for the one who wishes to perform it. In the morning of the 4th of Dhu AlHijja; the Prophet ﷺ and his companions reached Mecca; assuming Ihram for Hajj and he ordered his companions to make their intentions of the Ihram for Umra only instead of Hajj so they considered his order as something great and were puzzled; and said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! What kind of finishing of Ihram is allowed? The Prophet ﷺ replied; Finish the Ihram completely like a non-Muhrim you are allowed everything. | The Chapter on Hajj Altamattu in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on HajjatTamattu Hajj AlQiran and Hajj AlIfrad in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5758 | Narrated Abu Huraira: In the year prior to the last Hajj of the Prophet ﷺ when Allah Messenger ﷺ made Abu Bakr the leader of the pilgrims; the latter Abu Bakr sent me in the company of a group of people to make a public announcement: No pagan is allowed to perform Hajj after this year; and no naked person is allowed to perform Tawaf of the Kaba. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5888 | Narrated Ibn Abbas: A menstruating woman was allowed to leave Mecca if she had done Tawaf AlIfada. Tawus a subnarrator said from his father; I heard Ibn Umar saying that she would not depart. Then later I heard him saying that the Prophet ﷺ had allowed them menstruating women to depart. | The Chapter on Menstruation And Tawaf in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on If a woman gets her menses after Tawaf AlIfada in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6160 | Narrated Said: Abu Shuraih said; When Amr Bin Saeed was sending the troops to Mecca to fight Abdullah Bin AlZubair I said to him; O chief! Allow me to tell you what the Prophet ﷺ said on the day following the conquests of Mecca. My ears heard and my heart comprehended; and I saw him with my own eyes; when he said it. He glorified and praised Allah and then said; Allah and not the people has made Mecca a sanctuary. So anybody who has belief in Allah and the Last Day i.e. a Muslim should neither shed blood in it nor cut down its trees. If anybody argues that fighting is allowed in Mecca as Allah Messenger ﷺ did fight in Mecca ; tell him that Allah gave permission to His Apostle; but He did not give it to you. The Prophet ﷺ added: Allah allowed me only for a few hours on that day of the conquest and today now its sanctity is the same valid as it was before. So it is incumbent upon those who are present to convey it this information to those who are absent. Abu Shuraih was asked; What did Amr reply? He said Amr said; O Abu Shuraih! I know better than you in this respect. Mecca does not give protection to one who disobeys Allah or runs after committing murder; or theft and takes refuge in Mecca. | The Chapter on Makkah And Praise Allah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on It is incumbent on those who are present in a religious meeting or conference to convey the knowledge to those who are absent in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6168 | Narrated Abu Huraira: In the year of the Conquest of Mecca; the tribe of Khuzaa killed a man from the tribe of Bani Laith in revenge for a killed person; belonging to them. They informed the Prophet ﷺ about it. So he rode his Rahila camel for riding and addressed the people saying; Allah held back the killing from Mecca. The sub-narrator is in doubt whether the Prophet ﷺ said elephant or killing; as the Arabic words standing for these words have great similarity in shape ; but He Allah let His Apostle and the believers over power the infidels of Mecca. Beware! Mecca is a sanctuary Verily! Fighting in Mecca was not permitted for anyone before me nor will it be permitted for anyone after me. It war in it was made legal for me for few hours or so on that day. No doubt it is at this moment a sanctuary; it is not allowed to uproot its thorny shrubs or to uproot its trees or to pick up its Luqat fallen things except by a person who will look for its owner announce it publicly. And if somebody is killed; then his closest relative has the right to choose one of the two- the blood money Diya or retaliation having the killer killed. In the meantime a man from Yemen came and said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Get that written for me. The Prophet ﷺ ordered his companions to write that for him. Then a man from Quraish said; Except AlIdhkhir a type of grass that has good smell O Allah Messenger ﷺ ; as we use it in our houses and graves. The Prophet ﷺ said; Except AlIdhkhir i.e. AlIdhkhir is allowed to be plucked. | The Chapter on Agriculture In The Sanctuary Of Makkah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The writing of knowledge in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6441 | Narrated Aisha: Abu Bakr asked the Prophet ﷺ to allow him to go out of Mecca when he was greatly annoyed by the infidels. But the Prophet ﷺ said to him; Wait. Abu Bakr said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Do you hope that you will be allowed to migrate ? Allah Messenger ﷺ replied; I hope so. So Abu Bakr waited for him till one day Allah Messenger ﷺ came at noon time and addressed him saying Let whoever is present with you; now leave you. Abu Bakr said; None is present but my two daughters. The Prophet ﷺ said; Have you noticed that I have been allowed to go out to migrate ? Abu Bakr said; O Allah Apostle; I would like to accompany you. The Prophet ﷺ said; You will accompany me. Abu Bakr said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I have got two camels which I had prepared and kept ready for our going out. So he gave one of the two camels to the Prophet ﷺ and it was AlJada. They both rode and proceeded till they reached the Cave at the mountain of Thaur where they hid themselves. Amir Bin Fuhaira was the slave of Abdullah Bin AlTufail Bin Sakhbara Aisha brother from her mother side. Abu Bakr had a milch camel. Amir used to go with it i.e. the milch camel in the afternoon and come back to them before noon by setting out towards them in the early morning when it was still dark and then he would take it to the pasture so that none of the shepherds would be aware of his job. When the Prophet and Abu Bakr went away from the Cave ; he i.e. Amir too went along with them and they both used to make him ride at the back of their camels in turns till they reached Medina. Amir Bin Fuhaira was martyred on the day of Bir Mauna. Narrated Urwa: When those Muslims at Bir Mauna were martyred and Amr Bin Umaiya AlDamri was taken prisoner; Amir Bin AlTufail; pointing at a killed person; asked Amr; Who is this? Amr Bin Umaiya said to him; He is Amir Bin Fuhaira. Amir Bin AlTufail said; I saw him lifted to the sky after he was killed till I saw the sky between him and the earth; and then he was brought down upon the earth. Then the news of the killed Muslims reached the Prophet ﷺ and he announced the news of their death saying; Your companions of Bir Mauna have been killed; and they have asked their Lord saying; O our Lord! Inform our brothers about us as we are pleased with You and You are pleased with us. So Allah informed them i.e. the Prophet ﷺ and his companions about them i.e. martyrs of Bir Mauna. On that day; Urwa Bin Asma Bin AlSalt who was one of them; was killed; and Urwa bin AlZubair was named after Urwa Bin Asma and Mundhir bin AlZubair was named after Mundhir Bin Amr who had also been martyred on that day. | The Chapter on Live Stock And Wolves And Shephards in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The Ghazwa of AlRaji Ril Dhakwan and Bir Mauna and the narration about Khubaib and his companions in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6632 | Narrated Abu Shuraih: AlAdawi that he said to Amr Bin Saeed while the latter was sending troops in batches to Mecca; O chief! Allow me to tell you a statement which Allah Messenger ﷺ said on the second day of the Conquest of Mecca. My two ears heard it and my heart remembered it and my two eyes saw him when he said it. He i.e. the Prophet praised Allah and then said; Mecca has been made a sanctuary by Allah and not by the people; so it is not lawful for a person; who believes in Allah and the Last Day to shed blood in it; or to cut its trees and if someone asks the permission to fight in Mecca because Allah Apostle was allowed to fight in it; say to him; Allah permitted His Apostle and did not allow you; and even he i.e. the Apostle was allowed for a short period of the day; and today its Mecca sanctity has become the same as it was before of old so those who are present should inform those who are absent this Hadith. Then Abu Shuraih; was asked; What did Amr say to you? Abu Shuraih said; He said; I knew that better than you; O Abu Shuraih! The Haram i.e. Mecca does not give refuge to a sinner or a fleeing murderer or a person running away after causing destruction. | The Chapter on Makkah And Praise Allah in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Military Expeditions led by the Prophet AlMaghaazi in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6937 | Narrated Saeed Bin AlMusaiyab: Bahira is a camel whose milk is kept for the idols and nobody is allowed to milk it; Saiba was the camel which they used to set free for their gods and nothing was allowed to be carried on it. Abu Huraira said: Allah Messenger ﷺ said; I saw Amr Bin Amir AlKhuzai in a dream dragging his intestines in the Fire; and he was the first person to establish the tradition of setting free the animals for the sake of their deities ; Wasila is the camel which gives birth to a camel as its first delivery; and then gives birth to another camel as its second delivery. People in the Pre-lslamic periods of ignorance used to let that she camel loose for their idols if it gave birth to two camels successively without giving birth to a male camel in between. Ham was the male camel which was used for copulation. When it had finished the number of copulations assigned for it; they would let it loose for their idols and excuse it from burdens so that nothing would be carried on it; and they called it the Hami. Abu Huraira said; I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying so. | The Chapter on Live Stock And Charity in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran Tafseer of the Prophet in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-860 | Narrated Abu Huraira: On the Day Of AlNahr 10th of Dhu AlHijja; in the year prior to the last Hajj of the Prophet ﷺ when Abu Bakr was the leader of the pilgrims in that Hajj Abu Bakr sent me along with other announcers to Mina to make a public announcement: No pagan is allowed to perform Hajj after this year and no naked person is allowed to perform the Tawaf around the Kaba. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ sent Ali to read out the Surat Baraa AlTauba to the people; so he made the announcement along with us on the Day Of AlNahr in Mina: No pagan is allowed to perform Hajj after this year and no naked person is allowed to perform the Tawaf around the Kaba. | The Chapter on Mina In Alhajj in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on What may be used to cover the private parts of the body in Sahih AlBukhari |

Khalid Bin Walid along with a group of persons visited Allah Messenger ﷺ in the house of Maimuna and they said: Abu Hafs has divorced his wife with three pronouncements; is there any maintenance allowance due to her? Thereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said: No maintenance allowance is due to her; but she is required to spend the Idda; and he sent her the message that she should not be hasty in making a decision about herself and commanded her to move to the house of Umm Sharik; and then sent her the message that as the first immigrants frequently visit the house of Umm Sharik; she should better go to the house of Ibn Umm Maktum; the blind; and further said: In case you put off your head-dress; he Ibn Umm Makhtum will not see you. They said to her: By Allah; there is no maintenance allowance for you; except in case you are pregnant. She came to Allah Apostle may peace he upon him and mentioned their opinion to him; whereupon he said: There is no maintenance allowance for you. Then she sought permission to move to another place ; and he the Holy Prophet permitted her. She said: Allah Messenger; where should I go ? Marwan the governor of Medina sent Qabisa Bin Dhuwaib in order to ask her about this hadith; and she narrated it to him; whereupon Marwan said: We have not heard this hadith but from a woman. We would adopt a safe path where we found the people. Fatima said that when these words of; Marwan were conveyed to her. There is between me and you the word of Allah; the Exalted and Majestic: Do not turn them out of their houses. She asserted: This is in regard to the revocable divorce what new turn can the event take after three pronouncements separation between irrevocable. He said: How many pronouncements of divorce have been made for you? I said: Three. He said what he Ayish Bin Abu Rabia had stated was true. There is no maintenance allowance for you. Spend Idda period in the house of your cousin; Ibn Umm Maktum. He is blind and you can put off your garment in his presence. And when you have spent your Idda period; you inform me. She said: Muawiya and Ab AlJahm Allah be pleased with them were among those who had given me the proposal of marriage. It was reported to Allah Messenger ﷺ. He mounted his camel and delivered this address: Verily Allah; the Exalted and Majestic; held back the Ele- phants from Mecca; and gave its domination to His Messenger and believers. Behold; it was not violable for anyone before me and it will not be violable for anyone after me. Behold; it was made violable for me for an hour of a day; and at this very hour it has again been made inviolable for me as well as for others. And one whose fellow is killed is allowed to opt between two alternatives: either he should receive blood-money or get the life of the murderer in return. He the narrator said : A person from the Yemen; who was called Abu Shah; came to him and said: Messenger of Allah; write it down for me; whereupon he Allah Messenger said: Write it down for Abu Shah. One of the persons from among the Quraish also said: Except Idhkhir; for we use it in our houses ant our graves. Thereupon Allah Messenger ﷺ said: Except Idhkhir. | The Chapter on Murder In Crimes And Felonies in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 82 in Sahih Muslim |

SunanAlNasai-017-001-13103 | It was narrated from Ubdah Bin AlSamit-who had been present at Badar and had given his pledge to the Prophet swearing not to fear the blame of any blamer for the sake of Allah that Ubadah stood up to deliver a speech and said: O people; you have invented kinds of transactions; I do not know what they are; but make sure it is gold for gold; of the same weight; or silver for silver; of the same weight. There is nothing wrong with selling silver for gold; hand to hand; giving more silver than gold; but no credit is allowed. When you sell wheat for wheat and barley for barley; it should be measure for measure; but there is nothing wrong with selling barley for wheat; hand to hand; giving more barley than wheat; but no credit is allowed. And when you sell dates for dates; it should be measure for measure And he mentioned salt; measure for measure; and whoever gives more or asks for more has engaged in Riba. | The Chapter on Precious Metals And Exchange For Other Commodities in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Selling Barley For Barley in Sunan AlNasai

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25236 | Qabisah Bin Mukhiriq AlHilali said : I became a guarantor for a payment; and I came to Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: Wait till I receive the sadaqah and I shall order it to be given to you. He then said : Begging; Qabisah; is allowable only to one of three classes: a man who has become a guarantor for a payment to whom begging is allowed till he gets it; after which he must stop begging ; a man who has been stricken by a calamity and it destroys his property to whom begging is allowed till he gets what will support life or he said; what will provide a reasonable subsistence ; and a man who has been smitten by poverty; about whom three intelligent members of his people confirm by saying: So and so has been smitten by poverty; to such a person begging is allowed till be gets what will support life or he said; what will provide a reasonable subsistence ; after which he must stop begging. Any other reason for begging; Qabisah; is forbidden; and one who engages in such consumes it as a thing which is forbidden. | The Chapter on Wealth And Begging in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Situations Where Begging Is Allowed And Where It Is Not Allowed in Sunan Abu Dawoud

MuwataMalik-017-001-35046 | Yahya related to me from Malik from Daud Ibn AlHusayn from Abu Sufyan; the mawla of Ibn Abi Ahmad; from Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; allowed the produce of an ariya to be bartered for an estimation of what the produce would be when the crop was less than five awsuq or equal to five awsuq. Daud wasnt sure whether he said five awsuq or less than five. Malik said; Ariyas can be sold for an estimation of what amount of dried dates will be produced. The crop is examined and estimated while still on the palm. This is allowed because it comes into the category of delegation of responsibility; handing over rights; and involving a partner. Had it been like a form of sale; no one would have made someone else a partner in the produce until it was ready nor would he have renounced his right to any of it or put someone in charge of it until the buyer had taken possession. | The Chapter on Food And Zakat in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Madina in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35549 | Yahya related to me from Malik that Muhammad Ibn Uqba; the mawla of AlZubayr; asked AlQasim Ibn Muhammad whether he had to pay any zakat on a large sum given to him by his slave to buy his freedom. AlQasim said; Abu Bakr AlSiddiq did not take zakat from anyone property until it had been in his possession for a year. AlQasim Ibn Muhammad continued; When Abu Bakr gave men their allowances he would ask them; Do you have any property on which zakat is due? If they said; Yes; he would take the zakat on that property out of their allowances. If they said; No; he would hand over their allowances to them without deducting anything from them. | The Chapter on Contracts And Disputes And Zakat in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Faraid in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35550 | Yahya related to me from Malik from Urwa Ibn Husayn from Aisha bint Qudama that her father said; When I used to come to Uthman Ibn Affan to collect my allowance he would ask me; Do you have any property on which zakat is due? If I said; Yes; he would deduct the zakat on that property from my allowance; and if I said; No; he would pay me my allowance in full. | The Chapter on Contracts And Disputes And Zakat in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Faraid in Muwata Malik
MuwataMalik-017-001-35962 | Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya Ibn Said heard Ata Ibn Abi Rabah mentioning that the camel-herders were allowed to throw the stones at night; and saying that this was in the early period of Islam. Malik said; The explanation of the hadith where the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; allowed the camel-herders to delay the stoning of the jamras is; in our view; and Allah knows best; that they threw stones on the day of sacrifice; and then threw again two days later; which was the first possible day for leaving; and this throwing was for the day which had passed. They then threw again for the day itself; because it is only possible for someone to make up for something which is obligatory for him; and when something obligatory passes someone by without him doing it he must necessarily make it up afterwards and not beforehand. So in the case of the camel-herders ; if it seemed appropriate for them to leave that day; they would have done all that they were supposed to do; and if they were to stay until the following day; they would throw stones with everybody else on the second and last day for leaving; and then leave. | The Chapter on Special Days And Forbidden Deeds in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Fasting in Muwata Malik |
