They will declare (their) repentance when they see the Penalty: We shall put yokes on the necks of the Unbelievers: It would only be a requital for their (ill) Deeds.

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1678Narrated Samura Bin Jundub: Allah Messenger ﷺ very often used to ask his companions; Did anyone of you see a dream? So dreams would be narrated to him by those whom Allah wished to tell. One morning the Prophet ﷺ said; Last night two persons came to me in a dream and woke me up and said to me; Proceed! I set out with them and we came across a man lying down; and behold; another man was standing over his head; holding a big rock. Behold; he was throwing the rock at the man head; injuring it. The rock rolled away and the thrower followed it and took it back. By the time he reached the man; his head returned to the normal state. The thrower then did the same as he had done before. I said to my two companions; Subhan Allah! Who are these two persons? They said; Proceed! So we proceeded and came to a man lying flat on his back and another man standing over his head with an iron hook; and behold; he would put the hook in one side of the man mouth and tear off that side of his face to the back of the neck and similarly tear his nose from front to back and his eye from front to back. Then he turned to the other side of the man face and did just as he had done with the other side. He hardly completed this side when the other side returned to its normal state. Then he returned to it to repeat what he had done before. I said to my two companions; Subhan Allah! Who are these two persons? They said to me; Proceed! So we proceeded and came across something like a Tannur a kind of baking oven; a pit usually clay-lined for baking bread. I think the Prophet ﷺ said; In that oven there was much noise and voices. The Prophet ﷺ added; We looked into it and found naked men and women; and behold; a flame of fire was reaching to them from underneath; and when it reached them; they cried loudly. I asked them; Who are these? They said to me; Proceed! And so we proceeded and came across a river. I think he said;.... red like blood. The Prophet ﷺ added; And behold; in the river there was a man swimming; and on the bank there was a man who had collected many stones. Behold; while the other man was swimming; he went near him. The former opened his mouth and the latter on the bank threw a stone into his mouth whereupon he went swimming again. He returned and every time the performance was repeated. I asked my two companions; Who are these two persons? They replied; Proceed! Proceed! And we proceeded till we came to a man with a repulsive appearance; the most repulsive appearance; you ever saw a man having! Beside him there was a fire and he was kindling it and running around it. I asked my companions; Who is this man ? They said to me; Proceed! Proceed! So we proceeded till we reached a garden of deep green dense vegetation; having all sorts of spring colors. In the midst of the garden there was a very tall man and I could hardly see his head because of his great height; and around him there were children in such a large number as I have never seen. I said to my companions; Who is this? They replied; Proceed! Proceed! So we proceeded till we came to a majestic huge garden; greater and better than I have ever seen! My two companions said to me; Go up and I went up. The Prophet ﷺ added; So we ascended till we reached a city built of gold and silver bricks and we went to its gate and asked the gatekeeper to open the gate; and it was opened and we entered the city and found in it; men with one side of their bodies as handsome as the handsomest person you have ever seen; and the other side as ugly as the ugliest person you have ever seen. My two companions ordered those men to throw themselves into the river. Behold; there was a river flowing across the city ; and its water was like milk in whiteness. Those men went and threw themselves in it and then returned to us after the ugliness of their bodies had disappeared and they became in the best shape. The Prophet ﷺ further added; My two companions angels said to me; This place is the Eden Paradise; and that is your place. I raised up my sight; and behold; there I saw a palace like a white cloud! My two companions said to me; That palace is your place. I said to them; May Allah bless you both! Let me enter it. They replied; As for now; you will not enter it; but you shall enter it one day. I said to them; I have seen many wonders tonight. What does all that mean which I have seen? They replied; We will inform you: As for the first man you came upon whose head was being injured with the rock; he is the symbol of the one who studies the Quran and then neither recites it nor acts on its orders; and sleeps; neglecting the enjoined prayers. As for the man you came upon whose sides of mouth; nostrils and eyes were torn off from front to back; he is the symbol of the man who goes out of his house in the morning and tells so many lies that it spreads all over the world. And those naked men and women whom you saw in a construction resembling an oven; they are the adulterers and the adulteresses. And the man whom you saw swimming in the river and given a stone to swallow; is the eater of usury Riba. And the bad looking man whom you saw near the fire kindling it and going round it; is Malik; the gatekeeper of Hell. And the tall man whom you saw in the garden; is Abraham and the children around him are those children who die with AlFitra the Islamic Faith. The narrator added: Some Muslims asked the Prophet; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! What about the children of pagans? The Prophet ﷺ replied; And also the children of pagans. Those people are those who do not treat themselves with Ruqya; nor do they believe in bad or good omen from birds etc. nor do they get themselves branded Cauterized. but they put their trust only in their Lord On that Ukasha Bin Muhsin said. Am I one of them; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ? The Prophet ﷺ said; Yes. Then another person got up and said; Am I one of them? The Prophet ﷺ was sitting in a leaning posture; so he sat up and said; Open the gate for him and give him the glad tidings of entering Paradise with a calamity which will befall him or which will take place. I went; and behold ! It was Uthman. So I opened the gate for him and gave him the glad tidings of entering Paradise and also informed him of what the Prophet ﷺ had said about a calamity. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-7202Narrated Ali: Allah Messenger ﷺ sent me along with AlZubair and AlMiqdad and said; Proceed till you reach a place called Raudat-Khakh where there is a lady travelling in a howda on a camel. She has a letter. Take the letter from her. So we set out; and our horses ran at full pace till we reached Raudat Khakh; and behold; we saw the lady and said to her ; Take out the letter! She said; I have no letter with me. We said; Either you take out the letter or we will strip you of your clothes. So she took the letter out of her hair braid. We brought the letter to the Prophet ﷺ and behold; it was addressed by Hatib Bin Abi Baltaa to some pagans at Mecca; informing them of some of the affairs of the Prophet. The Prophet ﷺ said; What is this; O Hatib? Hatib replied; Do not be hasty with me; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I am an Ansari man and do not belong to them Quraish infidels while the emigrants who were with you had their relatives who used to protect their families and properties at Mecca. So; to compensate for not having blood relation with them. I intended to do them some favor so that they might protect my relatives at Mecca ; and I did not do this out of disbelief or an inclination to desert my religion. The Prophet then said to his companions ; He Hatib has told you the truth. Umar said; O Allah Apostle! Allow me to chop his head off? The Apostle said; He is one of those who witnessed fought in the Battle of Badr; and what do you know; perhaps Allah looked upon the people of Badr Badr warriors and said; Do what you want as I have forgiven you. Amr; a sub-narrator; said;: This Verse was revealed about him Hatib : O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies as friends or protectors. 60.1 Narrated Ali: Sufyan was asked whether the Verse : Take not My enemies and your enemies... was revealed in connection with Hatib. Sufyan replied; This occurs only in the narration of the people. SahihMuslim-017-001-17336Abu Bakra reported that in the Farewell Address Allah Apostle ﷺ said: Time has completed a cycle and come to the state of the day when Allah created the heavens and the earth. The year is constituted of twelve months; of which four are sacred; three of them consecutive; viz. Dh AlQada; Dhu AlHijja and Muharram; and also Rajab the month of Mudar which comes between Jumada and Shaban. He the Holy Prophet then said: which month is this? He said: Is it not Dhal-Hijja? We said: Yes. He the Holy Prophet said: Which city is this? We said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He the Holy Prophety remained silent until we thought that he would give it another name. He the Holy Prophet said: Is it not the Balda the city of Mecca ? We said: Yes. He said: What day is this? We said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He the Holy Prophet remained silent until we thought that he would give it another name. He said: Is it not the Day of Sacrifice? We said: Allah Messenger. yes. Thereupon he said: Your blood; your property Muhammad; one of the narrators; said: I think; he also said this and your honour are sacred to you like the sacredness of this day of yours; in this city of yours; and in this month of yours. You will soon meet your Lord and He will ask you about your deeds. So do not turn after me unbelievers or misguided ; some of you striking the necks of the others. Behold I let him who is present convey to him who is absent; for many a one whom a message is conveyed has a more retentive memory than one who hears. He again said: Behold! have I not delivered the message to you? SahihMuslim-017-001-18132It has been narrated on the authority of Salama Bin AlAkwa who said: We marched upon Khaibar with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. We journeyed during the night. One of the people said to my brother Amir Bin AlAkwa: Wont you recite to us some of your verses? Amir was a poet. So he began to chant his verses to urge the camels; reciting: O God; if Thou hadst not guided us We would have neither been guided rightly nor practised charity; Nor offered prayers. We wish to lay down our lives for Thee; so forgive Thou our lapses; And keep us steadfast when we encounter our enemies. Bestow upon us peace and tranquillity. Behold; when with a cry they called upon us to help. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who is this driver of the camels ? They said: It is Amir. He said: God will show mercy to him. A man said: Martyrdom is reserved for him. Messenger of Allah; would that you had allowed us to benefit ourselves from his life. The narrator says : We reached Khaibar and besieged them; and we continued the siege until extreme hunger afflicted us. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Behold; God has conquered it for you. When it was evening of the day on which the city was conquered. the Muslims lit many fires. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: What are these fires? And what are they cooking? They said: They are cooking meat. He asked. Which meat? They said: That of domestic asses. He said: Let them throw it away and break the pots in which it is being cooked. A man said: Or should they throw it away and wash the pots? He said: They may do that. When the people drew themselves up in battle array Amir caught hold of his sword that was rather short He drove a Jew before him to strike him with it. As he struck him ; his sword recoiled and struck his own knee; and Amir died of the wound. When the people returned after the conquest of Kliaibar and he Salama had caught hold of my hand; and said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw that I was silent and dejected ; he said: What the matter with thee? I said to him: My father and my mother be thy ransom; people presume that Amir sacrifice has been in vain. He asked: Who has said that? I said: So and so and Usaid Bin Hudair AlAnsari. He said: Who has said that has lied. For him for Amir there is a double reward. He indicated this by putting two of his fingers together. He was a devotee of God and a warrior fighting for His cause. SahihMuslim-017-001-19120Abu Bakra reported Allah Messenger ﷺ as saying: There would soon be turmoil. Behold! there would be turmoil in which the one who would be seated would be better than one who would stand and the one who would stand would be better than one who would run. SahihMuslim-017-001-23218Abu Huraira Allah be pleased with him reported: The people of the Khuzaah tribe killed a man of the tribe of Laith in the Year of Victory as a retaliation for one whom they had killed whom the people of the tribe of Laith had killed. It was reported to Allah Messenger ﷺ. He mounted his camel and delivered this address: Verily Allah; the Exalted and Majestic; held back the Ele- phants from Mecca; and gave its domination to His Messenger and believers. Behold; it was not violable for anyone before me and it will not be violable for anyone after me. Behold; it was made violable for me for an hour of a day; and at this very hour it has again been made inviolable for me as well as for others. So its thorns are not to be cut; its trees are not to be lopped; and no one is allowed to pick up a thing dropped; but the one who makes an announcement of it. And one whose fellow is killed is allowed to opt between two alternatives: either he should receive blood-money or get the life of the murderer in return. He the narrator said : A person from the Yemen; who was called Abu Shah; came to him and said: Messenger of Allah; write it down for me; whereupon he Allah Messenger said: Write it down for Abu Shah. Among what he said was: Indeed the world is green and sweet; and indeed Allah has left you to remain to see how you behave. So beware of the world; and beware of the women. And among what he said was: The awe status of people should not prevent a man from saying the truth when he knows it.He one of the narrators said: Abu Saeed wept; then he said: By Allah! We have seen things and we feared. And among what he said in it; was : Indeed; for every treacherous person there shall be a banner erected on The Day Of Resurrection in proportion to his treachery. And there is no treachery greater than the treachery of a leader to the masses whose banner shall be positioned at his buttocks. And among what we remember from that day is: Behold! Indeed the children of Adam were created in various classes. Among them is he who was born a believer; lives as a believer; and dies a believer. Among them; is he who was born a disbeliever; lives as a disbeliever; and dies a disbeliever. Among them; is he who was born a believer; lives as a believer; and dies a disbeliever. Among them; is he who was born a disbeliever; lives as a disbeliever; and dies a believer. Behold! Among them is the slow to get angry; the quick to calm. Among them is the quick anger and the quick to calm; so this is with that. Behold! Among them is the quick get angry and the slow to calm; and indeed the best of them is the slow to get angry and the quick to calm; and the worst of them is the quick get angry and the slow to calm. Behold! Among them is he who pays back well and collects well. Among them is he who is bad with paying back and good when collecting. Among them is he who pays back well and is bad with collecting; so this is with that. Behold! Among them is he who is bad with paying back and bad with collecting. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-9964Narrated Sulaiman Bin Amr Bin AlAhwas: My father narrated to me that he attended the Farewell Hajj with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He ﷺ expressed his gratitude to Allah and praised Him; and reminded and exhorted; then he said: Which day is most sacred? Which day is most sacred? Which day is most sacred? He said: So the people said: The day of AlHajj AlAkbar O Messenger of Allah! So he said: Indeed; your blood; your wealth; your honor; is as sacred for you as the sacredness of this day of yours; in this city of yours; in this month of yours. Behold! None commits a crime but against himself; none offends a father for a son; nor a son for a father. Behold! Indeed the Muslim is the brother of the Muslim; so it is not lawful for the Muslim to do anything to his brother; which is not lawful to be done to himself. Behold! All Riba from Aljahiliyah is invalid; for you is the principle of your wealth; but your are not to wrong nor be wronged - except in the case of Riba of AlAbbas Bin Abd AlMuttalib - otherwise it is all invalid. Behold! All retribution regarding cases of blood during Aljahiliyah are invalid. The first case of blood retribution invalidated among those of Aljahiliyah; is the blood of AlHarith Bin Abd AlMuttalib who was nursed among Banu Laith and killed by Hudhail. Behold! I order you to treat women well; for they are but like captives with you; you have no sovereignty beyond this over them; unless they manifest lewdness. If they do that; then abandon their beds; and beat them with a beating that is not painful. Then if they obey you; then there is no cause for you against them beyond that. Behold! There are rights for you upon your women; and rights for your women upon you. As for your rights upon them;then they are not to allow anyone on your bedding whom you dislike; nor to permit anyone whom you dislike in your homes. Behold!
