SahihMuslim-017-001-22827		Aisha Allah be pleased with her said: We went with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage. We entered into the state of Ihram for Umra. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who has the sacrificial animal with him; he should put on Ihram for Hajj along with Umra. and should not put it off till he has completed them both Hajj and Umra. She said: When I came to Mecca. I was having menses; I neither circumambulated the House; nor ran between AlSafa and AlMarwa. I complained about it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said: Undo your hair; comb it; and pronounce Talbiya for Hajj; and give up Umra for the time being ; which I did. When we had performed the Hajj; the Messenger of Allah way peace he upon him sent me with Abd AlRabman Bin Abu Bakr to Tanim saying: This is the place for your Umra. Those who had put on Ihram for Umra circumambulated the House; and ran between Alsafa and AlMarwa. They then put off Ihram and then made the last circuit after they had returned from Mina after performing their Hajj; but those who had combined the Hajj and the Umra made only one circuit as they had combined Hajj and Umra. SahihMuslim-017-001-22836		Aisha Allah be pleased with her reported: We went with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with no other aim but that of Hajj till we came to the place known as Sarif; and there I entered in the state of menses. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me while I was weeping. He said: What makes you weep? I said: Would that I had not come for Pilgrimage this year. He the Holy Prophet said: What has happened to you? You have perhaps entered the period of menses. I said: Yes. He said: This is what has been ordained for the daughters of Adam. Do what a pilgrim does except that you should not circumambulate the House; till you are purified of the menses. She Aisha said: When I came to Mecca; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to his companions: Make this Ihram the Ihram for Umra. So the people put off Ihram except those who had sacrificial animals with them. She Aisha said: The Apostle of Allah ﷺ had the sacrificial animal with him; and so had Abu Bakr; Umar and other persons of means. They those who had put off Ihram again put on Ihram for Hajj when they marched towards Mina ; and it was the 8th of Dhu AlHijja. She Aisha said: When it was the day of sacrifice 10th of Dhu AlHijja ; I was purified; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded me and I did the circumambulation of Ifada. She said that the flesh of cow was sent to us. I said: What is it? They said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has offered a cow as sacrifice on behalf of his wives. When it was the night at Hasba; I said: Messenger of Allah; people are coming back from Hajj and Umra; where as I am coming back from Hajj alone. She Aisha reported: He the Holy Prophet commanded Abdulrahman Bin Abu Bakr to mount me upon his camel behind him. She Aisha said: I was very young and I well remember that I dozed off and my face touched the hind part of the haudaj camel litter till we came to Tanim; and entered into the state of Ihram in lieu of Umra which I for the time being abandoned and which the people had performed. SahihMuslim-017-001-22839		Aisha Allah be pleased with her reported: We proceeded with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ putting on the Ihram for Hajj during the months of Hajj and the night of Hajj till we encamped at Sarif. He the Holy Prophet went to his Companions and said: He who has no sacrificial animal with him; in his case I wish that he should perform Umra with this Ihram ; and he who has the sacrificial animal with him should not do it. So some of them performed Hajj whereas others who had no sacrificial animals with them did not do Hajj; but performed only Umra. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a sacrificial animal with him and those too who could afford it performed Hajj. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me i. e. Aisha while I was weeping; and he said: What makes you weep? I said: I heard your talk with Companions about Umra. He said: What has happened to you? I said: I do not observe prayer due to the monthly period ; whereupon he said: It would not harm you; you should perform during this time the rituals of Hajj which you can do outside the House. Maybe Allah will compensate you for this. You are one among the daughters of Adam and Allah has ordained for you as He has ordained for them. So I proceeded on with the rituals of Hajj till we came to Mina. I washed myself and then circumambulated the House; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ encamped at Muhassab and called; Abdulrahman Bin Abu Bakr. and said: Take out your sister from the precincts of the Kaba in order to put on Ihram for Umra and circumambulate the House. and I shall wait for you here. She said: So I went out and put on Ihram and then circumambulated the House; and ran between AlSafa and AlMarwa; and then we came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he was in his house in the middle of the night. He said: Have you completed your rituals ? I said: Yes. He then announced to his Companions to march on. SahihMuslim-017-001-22846		Aisha Allah be pleased with her reported: We went with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and we did not see but that he intended to perform Hajj only ; but when we reached Mecca we circumambulated the House; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded that he who did not have with him a sacrificial animal should put off Ihram. She Aisha said: And consequently those who did not bring the sacrificial animals with them put off Ihram; and among his wives too who had not brought the sacrificial animals with them put off Ihram. SahihMuslim-017-001-22850		Aisha Allah be pleased with her reported that she put on Ihram for; Umra and arrived at Mecca but did not circumambulate the House as she had entered in the period of menses; and then put on Ihram for Hajj and performed all the rituals concerning it except circumambulating the House. The Apostle of Allah ﷺ said to her on the day of march when pilgrims come to Mina : Your circumambulation would suffice both Hajj and Umra. She; however; felt reluctant. Thereupon the Prophet ﷺ sent her with Abdulrahman to Tanim and she performed Umra with separate rituals after Hajj. SahihMuslim-017-001-22854		Jabir Allah be pleased with him said: We; in the state of lhram; came with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for Hajj Mufrad with the aim of Hajj only ; and Aisha set out for Umra; and when we reached Sarif; she Hadrat Aisha entered in the state of monthly period; we proceeded on till we reached Mecca and circumambulated the Kaba and ran between AlSafa and AlMarwa; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded that one who amongst us had no sacrificial animal with him should put off Ihram. We said: What does this putting off imply? He said: Getting out completely from the state of lhram; so we put off Ihram ; and we turned to our wives and applied perfume and put on our clothes. and we were at a four night distance from Arafa. And we again put on Ihram on the day of Tarwiya 8th of Dhu AlHijja. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Aisha Allah be pleased with her and found her weeping; and said: What is the matter with you? She said: The matter is that I have entered in the monthly period; and the people had put off lhram; but I did not and I did not circumambulate the House; and the people are going for Hajj now but I cant go ; whereupon he said: It is the matter which Allah has ordained for the daughters of Adam; so now take a bath and put on Ihram for Hajj. She Aisha did accordingly; and stayed at the places of staying till the monthly period was over. She then circumambulated the House; and ran between AlSafa and AlMarwa. He the Holy Prophet then said: Now both your Hajj and Umra are complete; whereupon she said: I feel in my mind that I did not circumambulate the House till I performed Hajj I missed the circumambulation of Umra. Thereupon he Allah Apostle said: Abdulrahman take her to Tanim so as to enable her to perform Umra separately ; and it was the night at Hasba. SahihMuslim-017-001-22872		Hisham narrated on the authority of his father that the Arabs with the exception of Hums who were Quraish; and their descendants; circumambulated the House naked. They kept circumambulating In this state of nudity unless the Hums supplied to them the clothes. The male provided clothes to the male and the female provided clothes to the female. And the Hums did not get out of Muzdalifa; whereas the people other than the Quraish went t o Arafat. She further said: The people hastened on from Arafat; whereas Hums hastened from Muzdalifa; and said: Wedo not hasten but from Haram. SahihMuslim-017-001-22874		Abu Mousa Allah be pleased with him said: I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as he was encamping at Batha. He said to me: Did you intend to perform Hajj? I said: Yes. He again said: With what intention have you entered into the state of Ihram for Ifrad; Qiran or Tamattu. I said: I pronounced Talbiya I have entered into the state of Ihram with that very aim with which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is pronouncing Talbiya. He the Holy Prophet said; You have done well. Then circumambulate the House and run between AlSafa and AlMarwa and put off Ihram as you have not brought the sacrificial animals along with you. So I circumambulated the House; and ran between AlSafa and AlMarwa and then came to a woman of the tribe of Qais and she rid my head of the lice. I again put on Ihram for Hajj. and continued giving religious verdict according to this practice till during the Caliphate of Umar Allah be pleased with him when a person said to him: Abu Mousa; or Abdullah Bin Qais; exercise restraint in delivering some religious verdict of yours; for you do not know what has been introduced after you by the Commander of the Believers in the rites of Hajj. Thereupon he said: 0 people; whom we gave the religious verdict concerning putting off Ihram they should wait; for the Commander of the Believers is about to come to you; and you should follow him. Umar Allah be pleased with him then came and I made a mention of it to him. whereupon he said: If we abide by the Book of Allah we find the Book of Allah has commanded us to complete the. Hajj and Umra ; and if we abide by the Sunnah of Allah Messenger ﷺ ; we find that Allah Messenger ﷺ did not put off Ihram till the sacrificial animal was brought to its end till it was sacrificed. And it was during the Hajj season that a person came to me and said: You perhaps do not know what the Commander of the Believers has introduced in the rites of Hajj. I said: 0 people; those whom we have given religious verdict about a certain thing should wait; for the Commander of the Believers is about to arrive among you; so follow him. When the Commander of the Believers arrived; I said: What is this that you have introduced in the rites of Hajj ? -where upon he said: If we abide by the Book of Allah we find that there Allah; Exalted and Majestic; has said: Complete Hajj and Umra for Allah. And if we abide by the Sunnah of our Apostle ﷺ we find that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not put off Ihram till he had sacrificed the animals. SahihMuslim-017-001-22898		Abdullah Bin Umar Allah be pleased with them reported: Allah Messenger ﷺ observed Tamattu in Hajjat AlWada. He first put on Ihram for Umra and then for Hajj. and then offered animal sacrifice. So he drove the sacrificial animals with him from Dhu AlHulaifa. Allah Messenger ﷺ commenced Ihram of Umra and thus pronounced Talbiya for Umra. and then put on Ihram for Hajj and pronounced Talbiya for Hajj. And the people performed Tamattu in the company of Allah Messenger ﷺ. They put on Ihram for Umra first and then for Hajj. Some of them had sacrificial animals which they had brought with them; whereas some of them had none to sacrifice. So when Allah Messenger ﷺ came to Mecca; he said to the people: He who amongst you has brought sacrificial animals along with him must not treat as lawful anything which has become unlawful for him till he has completed the Hajj; and he; who amongst you has not brought the sacrificial animals should circumambulate the House; and run between AlSafa and AlMarwa and clip his hair and put off the Ihram; and then again put on the Ihram for Hajj and offer sacrifice of animals. But he who does not find the sacrificial animal; he should observe fast for three days during the Hajj and for seven days when he returns to his family. Allah Messenger ﷺ circumambulated the House when he came to Mecca: he first kissed the corner of the Kaba containing the Black Stone ; then ran in three circuits out of seven and walked in four circuits. And then when he had finished the circumambulation of the House he observed two rakahs of prayer at the Station of Ibrahim ; and then pronounced Salaam for concluding the rakahs ; and departed and came to AlSafa and ran seven times between AlSafa and AlMarwa. After that he did not treat anything as lawful which had become unlawful till he had completed his Hajj and sacrificed his animal on the day of sacrifice 10th of Dhu AlHijja. and then went back quickly to Mecca and performed circumambulation of the House known as tawaf ifada after which all that was unlawful for him became lawful; and those who had brought the sacrificial animals along with them did as Allah Messenger ﷺ had done	The Chapter on Hajj Altamattu in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 24 in Sahih Muslim
SahihMuslim-017-001-22908		Nafi reported that Ibn Umar intended to go for Hajj during the year when AlHajjaj attacked Ibn Zubair. It was said to him: There is a state of war between people and we fear that they would detain you; whereupon he Abdullah Bin Umar said: Verily in the Messenger of Allah there is a model pattern for you. I would do as Allah Messenger ﷺ did. I call you as witness that I have undertaken to perform Umra. He then set out until; when he reached the rear side of AlBaida; he said: There is one command both for Hajj and Umra. so bear witness. Ibn Rumh said: I call you as witness that I have undertaken to perform my Hajjalong with my Umra i. e. I am performing both of them as Qiran ; and he offered the sacrifice of animals which he had bought at Qudaid. He then proceeded pronouncing Talbiya for both of them together until he reached Mecca; He circumambulated the House. and ran between AlSafa and AlMarwa and made no addition to it. He neither sacrificed the animal; nor got his head shaved; nor got his hair clipped; nor did he make anything lawful which was unlawful due to Ihram until it was the Day of Sacrifice 10th of Dhu AlHijja. He then offered sacrifice; and got his hair cut; and saw that circumambulation of Hajj and Umra was complete with the first circumambulation. Ibn Umar said: This is how Allah Messenger ﷺ had done. SahihMuslim-017-001-22917		Muhammad Bin Abdulrahman reported: A person from Iraq said to him to inquire from Urwa Bin AlZubair for him whether a person who puts on Ihram for Hajj is allowed to put it off or not as he circumambulates the House. And if he says: No; it cant be put off; then tell him that there is a person who makes such an assertion. He Muhammad Bin Abdulrahman then said: I asked him Urwa Bin AlZubair ; where- upon he said: The person who has entered into the state of Ihram for Hajj cannot get out of it unless he has; completed the Hajj I further said to him : What if a person makes that assertion? Thereupon he said: It is indeed unfortunate that he makes such an assertion. That person Iraqi then met me and he asked me and I narrated to him the reply of Urwa ; whereupon he the Iraqi said: Tell him Urwa that a person had informed him that Allah Messenger ﷺ had done that; and why is it that Asma and AlZubair have done like this? He Muhammad Bin Abdulrahman said: I went to him and made a mention of that to him; whereupon he Urwa said: Who is he the Iraqi ? I said: I do not know; whereupon he said: What is the matter that he does not come to me himself and ask me? I suppose he is an Iraqi. I said: I do not know; whereupon he said: He has told a lie. Allah Messenger ﷺ performed Hajj; and Aisha Allah be pleased with her has told me that the first thing with which he commenced the rituals when he arrived at Mecca was that he performed ablution and then circumambulated the Kaba. Then Abu Bakr performed Hajj and the first thing with which he commenced the Hajj as the circumambulation of the Kaba and nothing besides it. So did Umar. Then Uthman performed Hajj and I saw that the first thing with which he commenced the Hajj was the circumambulation of the Kaba and nothing besides it. Then Muawiya and Abdullah Bin Umar did that. Then I performed Hajj with my father AlZubair Bin AlAwam; and the first thing with which he commenced Hajj was the circumambulation of the House. He then did nothing besides it. I then saw the emigrants Muhajirin and the helpers Ansar doing like this and nothing besides it. And the last one whom I saw doing like this was Ibn Umar. And he did not break it the Hajj after performing Umra. And Ibn Umar is with them. Why dont they ask him to testify it ? And none amongst those who had passed away commenced the rituals of Hajj but by circumambulating the Kaba on their first arrival and they did not put off Ihram without completing the Hajj ; and I saw my mother and my aunt commencing their Hajj with the circumambulation of the House; and they did not put off Ihram. My mother informed me that she came and her sister; and AlZubair and so and so for Umra; and when they had kissed the corner the Black Stone; after Sai and circumambulation ; they put off Ihram. SunanAlNasai-017-001-13960		It was narrated from Ibn Abbas: The Prophet passed by a man who was circumambulating the Kabah; led by another man with a reign in his nose. The Prophet took him by the hand and commanded him to lead him by his hand. Ibn Juraij said: Sulaiman told me that Tawus told him; from Ibn Abbas; that the Prophet passed by him when he was circumambulating the Kabah; and a man had tied his hand to another man with some string or thread or whatever. The Prophet cut it with his hand then said: Lead him with your hand. SunanAlNasai-017-001-15880		It was narrated from Salim Bin Abdullah that Abdullah Bin Umar said;during the Farewell Pilgrimage; the Messenger of Allah benefited from performing Umrah and then Hajj; and he brought a Hadi sacrificial animal with him from dh AlHulaifah. The Messenger of Allah entered Ihram for Umrah frist; them for Hajj; and the people also benefited by entering Ihram for Umrah first; then for Hajj. Some of the people brought the Hadi and carried it along with them; and other s did not. When the Messenger of Allah came to Makkah; he said to the people: Whoever among you has brought a Hadi; nothing is permissible for him that became forbidden when he entered Ihram; until he has finished his Hajj; Whoever did not find a Hadi; let him fast for three days during the Hajj; and for seven when he returns to his family; the Messenger of Allah performed Tawaf when he came to Makkah and touched the corner where the Black Stone is first of all; then he walked rapidly during the first three of the seven circles; and walked daring the last four. After he finished circumambulating the House he prayed two Rakahs at Maqam Ibrahim. Then he went to AlSafa and walked seven rounds between AlSafa and AlMarwah. And he did not do any action that was forbidden because of Ihram until he had completed his Hajj and slaughtered his Hadi on the Day of sacrifice. Then he hastened onward toard Makkah and circumambulated the House. Then everything that had been forbidden because of Ihram became permissible. SunanAlNasai-017-001-15886		It was narrated that Abu Mousa said: I came to the Messenger of Allah when he was in AlBatha; and he said: For what have you entered Ihram? I said: I have entered Ihram for that for which the Proper had entered Ihram; He said: Have you brought a hadi sacrifical animal ? I said: No. He said: Then circumambulate the House and perform Sa between AlSafa and AlMarwah; then exit Ihram; so I circumambulated the House and performed Sa i between AlSafa and AlMarwah; then went to a woman of my people and she combed and washed my hair; I used to issue Fatwas to the people based on that; during the Khilafah of Abu Bakr and Umar. Then one day during Hajj season a man came to me and said: You do not know what the commander of the Believers has introduced concerning the rites. I said: O people; whoever heard our heard our Fatwa; let him not rush to follow it; for the commander of the Believers! Is coming to you; and you should follow him. When he came; I said: O Commander of the Believers! What is this that you have introduced concerning the rites? He said: If we follow the Book of Allah; then Allah; the Mighty and Sublime; says: And complete the Hajj and Umrah for Allah. SunanAlNasai-017-001-15911		It was narrated that Jabir Bin Abdullah said: We came in Ihram with the Messenger of Allah for Hajj alone Mufrad ; and Aisha came in Ihram for Umrah. Then; whe we were in Sarif her menses started. When we came; we circumambulated the Kabah and performed Sai between AlSafa and AlMarwah. Then; the Messenger of Allah commanded those of us who did not have a Hadi to exit Ihram. We said: Exit Ihram to what degree? He said Completely. So we had intercourse with out; wives put on perfume; and wore only four nights away from Arafat. The; we entered Ihram on the day of AlTarwiyah. The Messenger of Allah entered upon Aisha and found here weeping. He said: What is the matter with you? She said: I have got my menses and the people exited Ihram; but I did not exit Ihram or did I circumambulate the House; and the people are going for Hajj now. He said: This is something that Allah ahs decreed for the daughters of Adam. Perform Ghusl; then begin the Talbiyah for Hajj. So she did that and did all the rituals. Then; when she became pure; she circumambulated the House and Performed Sai between AlSafa and AlMarwah. Then; he said: You have exited Ihram from your Hajj and your Umrah at the same time. She said: O Messenger of Allah; I feel upset because I only circumambulated the House during my Hajj. He said: Take here; O Abdullah; to perform Umrah from AlTanim. And that was on the night of AlHasbah the twelfth night of Dhu AlHijja. SunanAlNasai-017-001-15912		It was narrated that Aisha said: We set out with the Messenger of Allah for the Farewell Pligrimage and we entered Ihram for Umrah; then the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever has a Hadi with him; let him enter Ihram for both Hajj and Umrah; then do not exit Ihram until he exits Ihram for them both. I came to Makkah and I had my menses; so I did not circumambulate the House or Perform Sai between AlSafa and AlMarwah. I complained about that to the Messenger of Allah and he said: Undo your hair; and comb it; and enter Ihram for Hajj; and leave Umrah. When I had completed Hajj; the Messenger of Allah sent me with Abdulrahman Bin Abi Bakr to AlTanim; and I performed Umrah. He said: This is the place of your Umrah. Then those who had entered Ihram for Umar circumambulated the House and performed Sai between AlSafa and AlMarwah. Then they exited Ihram; then they performed Tawaf again; after they came back from Mina for their Hajj. As for those who combined Hajj and Umrah; they only performed one Tawaf. SunanAlNasai-017-001-15951		It was narrated that Aisha said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah not thinking of anything but Hajj. When we came to Makkah we circumambulated the house; then the Messenger of Allah told those who have not brought a Hadi to exit Ihram. So those who have not brought a Hadi exited Ihram. His wives had not brought a HIad so They exited Ihram too. Aisha said: My menses came so I did not circumambulate the Hous. On the night of AlHasbab the twelfth night of Dh AlHajjah I said O Messenger of Allah; the people are going back having done Umrah and Hajj; But I am going back having done only Hajj. He said: Did you not perform Tawaf when we came to Makkah? I said: No. He said: Then go with your brother to AlTanim and enter Ihram for Umrah then we will meet you and such and such a place. Abu Mamar said in his version: till she is purified. The narrator Ibn Isa did not mention the names of Ikrimah and Mujahid; but he said: from Ata on the authority of Ibn Abbas. Ibn Isa also did not mention the word all rites of hajj. He said in his version: All the rites of hajj except circumambulation of the House the Kabah. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25446		Aisha the wife of the Prophet SWAS said : We went out with the Messenger of Allah SWAS at the farewell pilgrimage and raised the voice in talbiyah for an Umrah. The Apostel of Allah SWAS said those who have brought the sacrificial animals with them should raise their voices in talbiyah for Hajj along with an Umrah and they should not put off their Ihram till they do so after performing them both. I came to Makkah while I was menstruating and I did not go round the House the Kabah or run between AlSafa and AlMarwah. I complained about this to the Messenger of Allah SWAS he said: Undo your hair; comb it and raise your voice in talbiyah for Hajj and let Umrah go. She said I did so. When we performed Hajj; the Messenger of Allah SWAS sent me along with Abdulrahman Bin Abu Bakr to AlTanim and I performed Umrah. He said; this is Umrah in place of the one you had missed. She said those who had raised their voices in talbiyah for Umrah put off Ihram after circumambulating the House the Kabah and after running between AlSafa and AlMarwa. Then they performed another circumambulation for their Hajj after they returned from Mina but those who combined Hajj and Umrah performed only one circumambulation. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25450		Jabir said We went out along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raising our voices in talbiyah for Hakk alone Ifrad while Aisha raised her voice in talbiyah for an Umrah. When she reached Sarif; she menstruated. When we came to Makkah we circumambulated the Kabah and ran between AlSafa and AlMarwah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then commanded us that those who had not brought sacrificial animals withthem should put off their ihram after Umrah. We asked Which acts are lawful and which not ? He replied All acts are lawful that are permissible usually. We had therefore intercourse with our wives; used perfumes; put on our clothes. There remained only four days to perform Hajj at Arafat. We then raised our voice in talbiyah wearing Ihram for Hajj on the eighth of Dhu AlHijja. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon Aisha and found her weeping. He said What is the matter with you? My problem is that I have menstruated; while the people have put on their ihram but I have not done so; nor did I go round the House the Kabah. Now the people are proceeding for Hajj. He said This is a thing destined by Allah to the daughters of Adam. Take a bath; then raise your voice in talbiyah for Hajj i.e; wear ihram for Hajj. She took a abtah and performed all the rites of the Hajj lit. she stayed at all those places where the pilgrims stay. When she was purified; she circumambulated the House the Kabah ; and ran between AlSafa and AlMarwah. He the Prophet said Now you have performed both your Hajj and your Umrah. She said Messenger of Allah; I have some misgiving in my mind that I did not go round the Kabah when I performed Hajj in the beginning. He said Abdulrahman her brother ; take her and have her perform Umrah from AlTanim. This happened on the night of AlHasbah i.e.; the fourteenth of Dhu AlHijja. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25453		Jabir said The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ and his companions came to Makkah on the fourth of Dhu AlHijja. When they circumambulated the Kabah and ran between AlSafa and AlMarwah the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ said Change this Hajj into Umrah; except those who have brought the sacrificial animals with them. When the eighth of Dhu AlHijja came; they raised their voices in talbiyah for Hall. When the tenth of Dhu AlHijja came; they circumambulated the Kabah; but did not run between AlSafa and AlMarwah. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25470		Abdullah Bin Umar said At the Farewell Pilgrimage the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ put on ihram first for Umrah and afterwards for Hajj and drove the sacrificial animals along with him from Dhu AlHulaifa. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ first raised his voice in talbiyah for Umrah and afterwards he did so for Hajj; and the people along with the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ did it first for Umrah and afterwards for Hajj. Some of the people had brought sacrificial animals and others had not; so when the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ came to Makkah ; he said to the people. Those of you who have brought sacrificial animals must not treat as lawful anything which has become unlawful for you till you complete your Hajj; but those of you who have not brought sacrificial animals should go round the House Kabah and run between AlSafa and AlMarwah; clip their hair; put off ihram; and afterwards raise their voice in talbiyah for Hajj and bring sacrificial animals. Those who cannot get sacrificial animals should fast three days during Hajj and seven days when they return to their families. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ then performed circumambulation when he came to Makkah first touching the corner then running during three circuits out of seven and walking during four and when he had finished his circumambulation of the House Kabah he prayed two rakahs at Maqam Ibrahim; then giving the salutation and departing he went to AlSafa and ran seven times between AlSafa and AlMarwah. After that he did not treat anything as lawful which had become unlawful for him till he had completed his Hajj; sacrificed his animals on the day of sacrifice; went quickly and performed the circumambulation of the House the Kabah ; after which all that had been unlawful became lawful for him. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25664		Narrated Umm Salamah; Ummul Muminin: The night which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed with me was the one that followed the day of sacrifice. He came to me and Wahb Ibn Zamah also visited me. A man belonging to the lineage of Abu Umayah accompanied him. Both of them were wearing shirts. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Wahb: Did you perform the obligatory circumambulation Tawaf AlZiyarah ; Abu Abdullah? He said: No; by Allah Messenger of Allah. He the Prophet said: Take off your shirt. He then took it off over his head; and his companion too took his shirt off over his head. He then asked: And why this ; Messenger of Allah? He replied: On this day you have been allowed to take off ihram when you have thrown the stones at the jamrahs; that is; everything prohibited during the state of ihram is lawful except intercourse with a woman. If the evening comes before you go round this House the Kabah you will remain in the sacred state i.e. ihram ; just like the state in which you were before you threw stones at the jamrahs; until you perform the circumambulation of it i.e. the Kabah. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25669		AlHarith Ibn Abdullah Ibn Aws said: I came to Umar Ibn AlKhattab and asked him about a woman who has performed the obligatory circumambulation on the day of sacrifice; and then she menstruates. He said: She must perform the last circumambulation of the House the Kabah. AlHarith said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ told me the same thing. Umar said: May your hands fall down! You asked me about a thing that you had asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ so that I might oppose him.
