SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1520		Narrated Abu Burda: Abu Mousa said; I came to the Prophet ﷺ along with two men from the tribe of Ashariyin; one on my right and the other on my left; while Allah Messenger ﷺ was brushing his teeth with a Siwak ; and both men asked him for some employment. The Prophet ﷺ said; O Abu Mousa O Abdullah Bin Qais!. I said; By Him Who sent you with the Truth; these two men did not tell me what was in their hearts and I did not feel realize that they were seeking employment. As if I were looking now at his Siwak being drawn to a corner under his lips; and he said; We never or; we do not appoint for our affairs anyone who seeks to be employed. But O Abu Mousa! or Abdullah Bin Qais! Go to Yemen. The Prophet then sent Muadh Bin Jabal after him and when Muadh reached him; he spread out a cushion for him and requested him to get down and sit on the cushion. Behold: There was a fettered man beside Abu Muisa. Muadh asked; Who is this man ? Abu Muisa said; He was a Jew and became a Muslim and then reverted back to Judaism. Then Abu Muisa requested Muadh to sit down but Muadh said; I will not sit down till he has been killed. This is the judgment of Allah and His Apostle for such cases and repeated it thrice. Then Abu Mousa ordered that the man be killed; and he was killed. Abu Mousa added; Then we discussed the night prayers and one of us said; I pray and sleep; and I hope that Allah will reward me for my sleep as well as for my prayers. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1950		Narrated Abdullah Bin Amr: The news of my fasting was mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ. So he entered upon me and I put for him a leather cushion stuffed with palm-fibres. The Prophet ﷺ sat on the floor and the cushion was between me and him. He said to me; Isnt it sufficient for you that you fast three days a month? I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I can fast more than this. He said; You may fast five days a month. I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! I can fast more than this. He said; You may fast seven days. I said; O Allah Apostle! He said; Nine. I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said; Eleven. I said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said; No fasting is superior to the fasting of the Prophet ﷺ David which was one half of a year; and he used; to fast on alternate days. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6239		Narrated Abdullah Bin Abbas: That he stayed overnight in the house of Maimuna the wife of the Prophet; his aunt. He added : I lay on the bed cushion transversally while Allah Messenger ﷺ and his wife lay in the lengthwise direction of the cushion. Allah Messenger ﷺ slept till the middle of the night; either a bit before or a bit after it and then woke up; rubbing the traces of sleep off his face with his hands. He then; recited the last ten verses of Surat AlImran; got up and went to a hanging water-skin. He then Performed the ablution from it and it was a perfect ablution; and then stood up to offer the prayer. I; too; got up and did as the Prophet had done. Then I went and stood by his side. He placed his right hand on my head and caught my right ear and twisted it. He prayed two rakat then two rakat and two rakat and then two rakat and then two rakat and then two rakat separately six times ; and finally one raka the witr. Then he lay down again in the bed till the Muadh-dhin came to him where upon the Prophet ﷺ got up; offered a two light rakat prayer and went out and led the Fajr prayer. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6886		Narrated Ibn Abbas: That once he stayed overnight in the house of his aunt; the wife of the Prophet. Then lay down again till the Muadhdhin i.e. the call-maker came to him; whereupon he got up and offered a light two rakat prayer and went out to the Masjid and offered the compulsory congregational Fajr prayer. He the Holy Prophet then said: Would nine fasts not suffice you ? I said: Messenger of Allah; I am capable of observing more fasts. He said: Would eleven fasts not suffice you ? I said: Messenger of Allah; I am capable of observing more fasts than these. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There is no fasting better than the fasting of David which comprises half of the age; fasting a day and not fasting a day. They said: AbulQasim; one of our men has committed fornication with a woman; so pronounce judgment upon them. They placed a cushion for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who sat on it and said: Bring the Torah. It was then brought. He then withdrew the cushion from beneath him and placed the Torah on it saying: I believed in thee and in Him Who revealed thee. He then said: Bring me one who is learned among you. Then a young man was brought. The transmitter then mentioned the rest of the tradition of stoning similar to the one transmitted by Malik from Nafi No. 4431. When the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; saw it; he stopped at the door and did not enter. She recognised disapproval on his face and said; Messenger of Allah; I turn in repentance to Allah and His Messenger. What have I done wrong? The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; What is the meaning of this cushion? She said; I bought it for you to sit and recline on. The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; Those who make such pictures will be punished on the Day of Rising. It will be said to them; Bring to life what you have created. Then he said; The angels do not enter a house in which there are pictures.
