SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4673 | Narrated Ubaidullah Bin Abi Rafi: I heard Ali saying; Allah Messenger ﷺ sent me; AlZubair and AlMiqdad somewhere saying; Proceed till you reach Rawdat Khakh. There you will find a lady with a letter. Take the letter from her. So; we set out and our horses ran at full pace till we got at AlRawda where we found the lady and said to her. Take out the letter. She replied; I have no letter with me. We said; Either you take out the letter or else we will take off your clothes. So; she took it out of her braid. We brought the letter to Allah Messenger ﷺ and it contained a statement from Hatib Bin Abi Balta a to some of the Meccan pagans informing them of some of the intentions of Allah Messenger ﷺ. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ said; O Hatib! What is this? Hatib replied; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Dont hasten to give your judgment about me. I was a man closely connected with the Quraish; but I did not belong to this tribe; while the other emigrants with you; had their relatives in Mecca who would protect their dependents and property. So; I wanted to recompense for my lacking blood relation to them by doing them a favor so that they might protect my dependents. I did this neither because of disbelief not apostasy nor out of preferring Kufr disbelief to Islam. Allah Messenger ﷺ ; said; Hatib has told you the truth. Umar said; O Allah Apostle! Allow me to chop off the head of this hypocrite. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Hatib participated in the battle of Badr; and who knows; perhaps Allah has already looked at the Badr warriors and said; Do whatever you like; for I have forgiven you. | The Chapter on Military Expedition And Makkah in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The spy in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-7034 | Narrated Abdullah Bin Masud: Allah Messenger ﷺ entered Mecca in the year of the Conquest and there were three-hundred and sixty idols around the Kaba. He then started hitting them with a stick in his hand and say: Truth i.e. Islam has come and falsehood disbelief vanished. Truly falsehood disbelief is ever bound to vanish. 17.81 Truth has come and falsehood Iblis can not create anything. 34.49 | The Chapter on Truth And Hypocrisy And Hypocrites Character in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran Tafseer of the Prophet in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-7123 | Narrated Masruq: We came upon Abdullah Bin Masud and he said O people! If somebody knows something; he can say it; but if he does not know it; he should say; Allah knows better; for it is a sign of having knowledge to say about something which one does not know; Allah knows better. Allah said to His Prophet: Say O Muhammad ! No wage do I ask of You for this Quran nor am I one of the pretenders a person who pretends things which do not exist. 38.86 Now I will tell you about AlDukhan the smoke ; Allah Messenger ﷺ invited the Quraish to embrace Islam; but they delayed their response. So he said; O Allah! Help me against them by sending on them seven years of famine similar to the seven years of famine of Joseph. So the famine year overtook them and everything was destroyed till they ate dead animals and skins. People started imagining to see smoke between them and the sky because of severe hunger. Allah said: Then watch you for the Day that the sky will bring forth a kind of smoke plainly visible; covering the people... This is painful torment. 44.10-11 So they invoked Allah Our Lord! Remove the punishment from us really we are believers. How can there be an effectual reminder for them when an Apostle; explaining things clearly; has already come to them? Then they had turned away from him and said: One taught by a human being ; a madman? We shall indeed remove punishment for a while; but truly; you will revert to disbelief. 44.12-15 Will the punishment be removed on the Day of Resurrection? Abdullah added; The punishment was removed from them for a while but they reverted to disbelief; so Allah destroyed them on the Day of Badr. Allah said: The day We shall seize you with a mighty grasp. We will indeed then exact retribution. 44.16 | The Chapter on Rain And Clouds And Smoke Associated With Punishments in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran Tafseer of the Prophet in Sahih AlBukhari |

SahihMuslim-017-001-21886 | Ibn Abbas reported: There was an eclipse of the sun during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah; ﷺ prayed accompanied by the people. He stood for a long time; about as long as it would take to recite Surah AlBaqara; then he bowed for a long time; then he raised his head and stood for a long time; but it was less than the first qiyam. He then bowed for a long time but for a shorter while than the first. He then prostrated and then stood for a long time; but it was less than the first qiyam. He then bowed for a long time; but it was less than the first bowing. He then raised his head and stood for a long time; but it was less than the first qiyam. He then bowed for a long time but it was less than the first bowing. He then observed prostration; and then he finished; and the sun had cleared by that time. He the Holy Prophet then said: The sun and moon are two signs from the signs of Allah. These two do not eclipse on account of the death of anyone or on account of the birth of anyone. So when you see that; remember Allah. They his Companions said: Messenger of Allah; we saw you reach out to something; while you were standing here; then we saw you restrain yourself. He said: I saw Paradise and reached out to a bunch of its grapes; and had I taken it you would have eaten of it as long as the world endured. I saw Hell also. No such abominable sight have I ever seen as that which I saw today; and I observed that most of its inhabitants were women. They said: Messenger of Allah; on what account is it so? He said: For their ingratitude or disbelief bi-kufraihinna. It was said: Do they disbelieve in Allah? He said: Not for their disbelief in God but for their ingratitude to their husbands and ingratitude to kindness. If you were to treat one of them kindly for ever; but if she later saw anything displeasing in you; she would say: I have never seen any good in you. | The Chapter on Prolonging The Prostration in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 3 in Sahih Muslim |

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-27014 | Abdullah Bin Masud told that when the evening came; the prophet ﷺ would say: we have come to the evening; and in the evening the dominion belongs to Allah: Praise be to Allah; there is no god but Allah alone who has no partner. The version of Jarir adds: Zubaid said that Ibrahim Bin Suwaid said: There is no god but Allah alone who has no partner; to him belongs the dominion; to him praise is due; and He is omnipotent. O Allah! I ask thee for the good of what this night contains; and the good of what comes after it; and I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of what this night contains; and from the evil of what comes after it. My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from indolence; the evil of old age or of disbelief. My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from a punishment in Hell and a punishment in the grave. In the morning he said that also: we have come to the morning; and in the morning the dominion belongs to Allah.Abu Dawud said: Shubah transmitted from Salamah Bin Kuhail; from Ibrahim Bin Suwaid; saying: from the evil of old age. He did not mention the evil of disbelief. | The Chapter on Allah Characteristics Vs Evil in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on What to say when waking up in Sunan Abu Dawoud |
