SahihAlBukhari-017-001-089 | Narrated Mahmud Bin AlRabi AlAnsari: that he remembered Allah Messenger ﷺ and he also remembered a mouthful of water which he had thrown on his face; after taking it from a well that was in their house. Mahmud said that he had heard Itban Bin Malik; who was present with Allah Messenger ﷺ in the battle of Badr saying; I used to lead my people at Bani Salim in the prayer and there was a valley between me and those people. Whenever it rained it used to be difficult for me to cross it to go to their Masjid. So I went to Allah Messenger ﷺ and said; I have weak eyesight and the valley between me and my people flows during the rainy season and it becomes difficult for me to cross it; I wish you would come to my house and pray at a place so that I could take that place as a praying place. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; I will do so. So Allah Messenger ﷺ and Abu Bakr came to my house in the next morning after the sun had risen high. Allah Messenger ﷺ asked my permission to let him in and I admitted him. He did not sit before saying; Where do you want us to offer the prayer in your house? I pointed to the place where I wanted him to pray. So Allah Messenger ﷺ stood up for the prayer and started the prayer with Takbir and we aligned in rows behind him; and he offered two rakat; and finished them with Taslim; and we also performed Taslim with him. I detained him for a meal called KhaZirr which I had prepared for him.- KhaZirr is a special type of dish prepared from barley flour and meat soup - When the neighbors got the news that Allah Messenger ﷺ was in my house; they poured it till there were a great number of men in the house. One of them said; What is wrong with Malik; for I do not see him? One of them replied; He is a hypocrite and does not love Allah and His Apostle. On that Allah Apostle said; Dont say this. Havent you seen that he said; None has the right to be worshipped but Allah for Allah sake only. The man replied; Allah and His Apostle know better; but by Allah; we never saw him but helping and talking with the hypocrites. Allah Messenger ﷺ replied; No doubt; whoever says. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah; and by that he wants the pleasures of Allah; then Allah will save him from Hell. Mahmud added; I told the above narration to some people; one of whom was Abu Ayoub ; the companion of Allah Messenger ﷺ in the battle in which he Abu Ayoub died and Yazid Bin Muawiya was their leader in Roman Territory. Abu Ayoub denounced the narration and said; I doubt that Allah Messenger ﷺ ever said what you have said. I felt that too much; and I vowed to Allah that if I remained alive in that holy battle; I would go to Medina and ask Itban Bin Malik if he was still living in the Masjid of his people. So when he returned; I assumed Ihram for Hajj or Umra and then I proceeded on till I reached Medina. I went to Bani Salim and Itban Bin Malik; who was by then an old blind man; was leading his people in the prayer. When he finished the prayer; I greeted him and introduced myself to him and then asked him about that narration. He told that narration again in the same manner as he had narrated it the first time. | The Chapter on Leave in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on To offer Nawafil in congregation in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1079 | Narrated Abu Bakra: The Prophet ﷺ said; Time has come back to its original state which it had when Allah created the Heavens and the Earth; the year is twelve months; of which four are sacred; and out of these four three are in succession; namely; Dh AlQada; Dhu AlHijja and Muharram; and the fourth one Rajab Mudar which is between Jumad Ath-Tham and Shaban. The Prophet ﷺ then asked us; Which month is this? We said; Allah and His Apostle know it better. He kept quiet so long that we thought he might call it by another name. Then he said; Isnt it Dhu AlHijja? We said; Yes. He asked What town is this? We said; Allah and His Apostle know it better. Then he kept quiet so long that we thought he might call it by another name. He then said; Isnt it the forbidden town Mecca ? We said; Yes. He asked; What is the day today? We said; Allah and His Apostle know it better. Then he kept quiet so long that we thought that he might call it by another name. Then he said; Isnt it the Day of AlNahr slaughtering of sacrifices ? We said; Yes. Then he said; Your blood lives ; your properties; the sub narrator Muhammad; said: I think he also said :..and your honor are as sacred to one another like the sanctity of this Day of yours; in this town of yours; in this month of yours. You shall meet your Lord and He will ask you about your deeds. Beware! Dont go astray after me by striking the necks of one another. Lo! It is incumbent upon those who are present to inform it to those who are absent for perhaps the informed one might comprehend it understand it better than some of the present audience. Whenever the sub-narrator Muhammad mentioned that statement; he would say; The Prophet ﷺ said the truth. And then the Prophet ﷺ added; No doubt! Havent I conveyed Allah Message to you! No doubt! Havent I conveyed Allah Message to you? | The Chapter on Communication The Prophet Asking The Companions in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah Looking at their Lord in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-142 | Narrated Fatima bint AlMundhir: Asma bint AlBakr said; I came to Aisha the wife of the Prophet ﷺ during the solar eclipse. The people were standing and offering the prayer and she was also praying too. I asked her; What has happened to the people? She pointed out with her hand towards the sky and said; Subhan-Allah. I said; Is there a sign? She pointed out in the affirmative. Asma further said; I too then stood up for the prayer till I fainted and then poured water on my head. When Allah Messenger ﷺ had finished his prayer; he thanked and praised Allah and said; I have seen at this place of mine what I have never seen even Paradise and Hell. No doubt; it has been inspired to me that you will be put to trial in the graves like or nearly like the trial of Masih AlDajjal. I do not know which one of the two Asma said. The angels will come to everyone of you and will ask what do you know about this man i.e. Muhammad. The believer or a firm believer I do not know which word Asma said will reply; He is Muhammad; Allah Messenger ﷺ ﷺ who came to us with clear evidences and guidance; so we accepted his teachings; believed and followed him. The angels will then say to him; Sleep peacefully as we knew surely that you were a firm believer. The hypocrite or doubtful person I do not know which word Asma said will say; I do not know. I heard the people saying something so I said it the same. | The Chapter on Praise And Glory To Allah In Prostration in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Offering of Eclipse prayer by women along with men in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-168 | Narrated AlAzraq Bin Qais: We were at AlAhwaz fighting the AlHaruriya tribe. While I was at the bank of a river a man was praying and the reins of his animal were in his hands and the animal was struggling and he was following the animal. Shuba; a sub-narrator; said that man was Abu Barza AlAslami. A man from the Khawarij said; O Allah! Be harsh to this sheik. And when the sheik Abu Barza finished his prayer; he said; I heard your remark. No doubt; I participated with Allah Messenger ﷺ in six or seven or eight holy battles and saw his leniency; and no doubt; I would rather retain my animal than let it return to its stable; as it would cause me much trouble. | The Chapter on Communication And Being Quiet In Friday Prayers in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on If an animal runs away while one is in Salat in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1683 | Narrated Malik Bin Aus: I went and entered upon Umar; his doorman; Yarfa came saying Uthman; Abdulrahman AlZubair and Saad are asking your permission to see you. May I admit them? Umar said; Yes. So he admitted them Then he came again and said; May I admit Ali and Abbas? He said; Yes. Abbas said; O; chief of the believers! Judge between me and this man Ali. Umar said; I beseech you by Allah by Whose permission both the heaven and the earth exist; do you know that Allah Messenger ﷺ said; Our the Apostles property will not be inherited; and whatever we leave after our death is to be spent in charity? And by that Allah Messenger ﷺ meant himself. The group said; No doubt ; he said so. Umar then faced Ali and Abbas and said; Do you both know that Allah Messenger ﷺ said that? They replied; No doubt ; he said so. Umar said; So let me talk to you about this matter. Allah favored His Apostle with something of this Fai i.e. booty won by the Muslims at war without fighting which He did not give to anybody else; Allah said:- And what Allah gave to His Apostle Fai Booty.........to do all things.... 59.6 And so that property was only for Allah Messenger ﷺ. Yet; by Allah; he neither gathered that property for himself nor withheld it from you; but he gave its income to you; and distributed it among you till there remained the present property out of which the Prophet ﷺ used to spend the yearly maintenance for his family; and whatever used to remain; he used to spend it where Allah property is spent i.e. in charity etc.. Allah Messenger ﷺ followed that throughout his life. Now I beseech you by Allah; do you know all that? They said; Yes. Umar then said to Ali and Abbas; I beseech you by Allah; do you know that? Both of them said; Yes. Umar added; And when the Prophet ﷺ died; Abu Bakr said; I am the successor of Allah Messenger ﷺ ; and took charge of that property and managed it in the same way as Allah Messenger ﷺ did. Then I took charge of this property for two years during which I managed it as Allah Messenger ﷺ and Abu Bakr did. Then you both Ali and Abbas came to talk to me; bearing the same claim and presenting the same case. O Abbas! You came to me asking for your share from the property of your nephew; and this man Ali came to me; asking for the share of h is wife from the property of her father. I said; If you both wish; I will give that to you on that condition i.e. that you would follow the way of the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr and as I Umar have done in man aging it. Now both of you seek of me a verdict other than that? Lo! By Allah; by Whose permission both the heaven and the earth exist; I will not give any verdict other than that till the Hour is established. If you are unable to manage it; then return it to me; and I will be sufficient to manage it on your behalf. | The Chapter on Contracts And Disputes Management in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Our property is not to be inherited and whatever we leave is Sadaqa in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-169 | Narrated Aisha: Once the sun eclipsed and Allah Messenger ﷺ stood up for the prayer and recited a very long Surat and when bowed for a long while and then raised his head and started reciting another Sura. Then he bowed; and after finishing; he prostrated and did the same in the second raka and then said; These lunar and solar eclipses are two of the signs of Allah and if you see them; pray till the eclipse is over. No doubt; while standing at this place I saw everything promised to me by Allah and I saw Paradise and I wanted to pluck a bunch of grapes therefrom; at the time when you saw me stepping forward. No doubt; I saw Hell with its different parts destroying each other when you saw me retreating and in it I saw Amr Bin Luhai who started the tradition of freeing animals set them free in the name of idols. | The Chapter on Prostration And Eclipse Of The Sun in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on If an animal runs away while one is in Salat in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-332 | Narrated Masruq: We were with Abdullah and he said; When the Prophet ﷺ saw the refusal of the people to accept Islam he said; O Allah! Send famine years on them for seven years like the seven years of famine during the time of Prophet Joseph. So famine overtook them for one year and destroyed every kind of life to such an extent that the people started eating hides; carcasses and rotten dead animals. Whenever one of them looked towards the sky; he would imagine himself to see smoke because of hunger. So Abu Sufyan went to the Prophet ﷺ and said; O Muhammad! You order people to obey Allah and to keep good relations with kith and kin. No doubt the people of your tribe are dying; so please pray to Allah for them. So Allah revealed: Then watch you For the day that The sky will bring forth a kind Of smoke Plainly visible... Verily! You will return to disbelief On the day when We shall seize You with a mighty grasp. 44.10-16 Ibn Masud added; AlBatsha i.e. grasp happened in the battle of Badr and no doubt smoke; AlBatsha; AlLizam; and the verse of Surat AlRum have all passed. | The Chapter on Rain And Clouds And Smoke Associated With Punishments in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Invocation of the Prophet pbuh in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4631 | Narrated Abdullah: Today a man came to me and asked me a question which I did not know how to answer. He said; Tell me; if a wealthy active man; well-equipped with arms; goes out on military expeditions with our chiefs; and orders us to do such things as we cannot do should we obey him? I replied; By Allah; I do not know what to reply you; except that we; were in the company of the Prophet ﷺ and he used to order us to do a thing once only till we finished it. And no doubt; everyone among you will remain in a good state as long as he obeys Allah. If one is in doubt as to the legality of something; he should ask somebody who would satisfy him; but soon will come a time when you will not find such a man. By Him; except Whom none has the right to be worshipped. I see that the example of what has passed of this life to what remains thereof is like a pond whose fresh water has been used up and nothing remains but muddy water. | The Chapter on Communication And Answers in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The Imam should order the people to do only within their ability in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-476 | Narrated Fatima bint AlMundhir: Asma bint Abi Bakr AlSiddiq said; I went to Aisha and the people were offering Prayer. I asked her; What is wrong with the people ? She pointed towards the sky with her head. I asked her; Is there a sign ? Aisha nodded with her head meaning Yes. Asma added; Allah Messenger ﷺ prolonged the Prayer to such an extent that I fainted. There was a waterskin by my side and I opened it and poured some water on my head. When Allah Messenger ﷺ finished Prayer; and the solar eclipse had cleared; the Prophet ﷺ addressed the people and praised Allah as He deserves and said; Amma badu. Asma further said; Some Ansari women started talking; so I turned to them in order to make them quiet. I asked Aisha what the Prophet ﷺ had said. Aisha said: He said; I have seen things at this place of mine which were never shown to me before; I have seen even Paradise and Hell. And; no doubt it has been revealed to me that you people will be put in trial in your graves like or nearly like the trial of Masih AlDajjal. The angels will come to everyone of you and ask him; What do you know about this man Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ? The faithful believer or firm believer Hisham was in doubt which word the Prophet ﷺ used ; will say; He is Allah Messenger ﷺ and he is Muhammad ﷺ who came to us with clear evidences and guidance. So we believed him; accepted his teachings and followed and trusted his teaching. Then the angels will tell him to sleep in peace as they have come to know that he was a believer. But the hypocrite or a doubtful person Hisham is not sure as to which word the Prophet ﷺ used ; will be asked what he knew about this man Prophet Muhammed ﷺ. He will say; I do not know but I heard the people saying something about him so I said the same Hisham added; Fatima told me that she remembered that narration completely by heart except that she said about the hypocrite or a doubtful person that he will be punished severely. | The Chapter on Praise And Glory To Allah In Prostration in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Saying Ammabadu in the Khutba in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5327 | Narrated AlNuman Bin Bashir: The Prophet ﷺ said Both legal and illegal things are obvious; and in between them are suspicious doubtful matters. So whoever forsakes those doubtful things lest he may commit a sin; will definitely avoid what is clearly illegal; and whoever indulges in these suspicious doubtful things bravely; is likely to commit what is clearly illegal. Sins are Allah Hima i.e. private pasture and whoever pastures his sheep near it; is likely to get in it at any moment. | The Chapter on Fornication And Adultery In Jewish Law in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Legal illegal and doubtful things in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5870 | Narrated Abu Bakra: The Prophet ﷺ delivered to us a sermon on the Day Of AlNahr. He said; Do you know what is the day today? We said; Allah and His Apostle know better. He remained silent till we thought that he might give that day another name. He said; Isnt it the Day Of AlNahr? We said; It is. He further asked; Which month is this? We said; Allah and His Apostle know better. He remained silent till we thought that he might give it another name. He then said; Isnt it the month of Dhu AlHijja? We replied: Yes! It is. He further asked; What town is this? We replied; Allah and His Apostle know it better. He remained silent till we thought that he might give it another name. He then said; Isnt it the forbidden Sacred town of Mecca ? We said; Yes. It is. He said; No doubt; your blood and your properties are sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours; in this month of yours; in this town of yours; till the day you meet your Lord. No doubt! Havent I conveyed Allah message to you? They said; Yes. He said; O Allah! Be witness. SahihAlBukhari-017-001-5966 | Narrated Abu Saeed AlKhudri: Once the Prophet ﷺ sat on a pulpit and we sat around him. Then he said; The things I am afraid of most for your sake concerning what will befall you after me is the pleasures and splendors of the world and its beauties which will be disclosed to you. Somebody said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Can the good bring forth evil? The Prophet ﷺ remained silent for a while. It was said to that person; What is wrong with you? You are talking to the Prophet ﷺ while he is not talking to you. Then we noticed that he was being inspired divinely. Then the Prophet ﷺ wiped off his sweat and said; Where is the questioner? It seemed as if the Prophet ﷺ liked his question. Then he said; Good never brings forth evil. Indeed it is like what grows on the banks of a water-stream which either kill or make the animals sick; except if an animal eats its fill the Khadira a kind of vegetable and then faces the sun; and then defecates and urinates and grazes again. No doubt this wealth is sweet and green. Blessed is the wealth of a Muslim from which he gives to the poor; the orphans and to needy travelers. Or the Prophet said something similar to it No doubt; whoever takes it illegally will be like the one who eats but is never satisfied; and his wealth will be a witness against him on the Day of Resurrection. | The Chapter on Communication Asking A Question About Deeds in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Giving in charity to orphans in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6142 | Narrated Asma: I came to Aisha while she was praying; and said to her; What has happened to the people? She pointed out towards the sky. I looked towards the Masjid ; and saw the people offering the prayer. Aisha said; Subhan Allah. I said to her; Is there a sign? She nodded with her head meaning; Yes. I; too; then stood for the prayer of eclipse till I became nearly unconscious and later on I poured water on my head. After the prayer; the Prophet ﷺ praised and glorified Allah and then said; Just now at this place I have seen what I have never seen before; including Paradise and Hell. No doubt it has been inspired to me that you will be put to trials in your graves and these trials will be like the trials of Masih AlDajjal or nearly like it the sub narrator is not sure which expression Asma used. You will be asked; What do you know about this man the Prophet ﷺ Muhammad ? Then the faithful believer or Asma said a similar word will reply; He is Muhammad Allah Messenger ﷺ who had come to us with clear evidences and guidance and so we accepted his teachings and followed him. And he is Muhammad. And he will repeat it thrice. Then the angels will say to him; Sleep in peace as we have come to know that you were a faithful believer. On the other hand; a hypocrite or a doubtful person will reply; I do not know; but I heard the people saying something and so I said it. the same. | The Chapter on Praise And Glory To Allah In Prostration in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Whoever gave a religious verdict by beckoning or by nodding in Sahih AlBukhari

SahihAlBukhari-017-001-6168 | Narrated Abu Huraira: In the year of the Conquest of Mecca; the tribe of Khuzaa killed a man from the tribe of Bani Laith in revenge for a killed person; belonging to them. They informed the Prophet ﷺ about it. So he rode his Rahila camel for riding and addressed the people saying; Allah held back the killing from Mecca. The sub-narrator is in doubt whether the Prophet ﷺ said elephant or killing; as the Arabic words standing for these words have great similarity in shape ; but He Allah let His Apostle and the believers over power the infidels of Mecca. Beware! Mecca is a sanctuary Verily! Fighting in Mecca was not permitted for anyone before me nor will it be permitted for anyone after me. It war in it was made legal for me for few hours or so on that day. No doubt it is at this moment a sanctuary; it is not allowed to uproot its thorny shrubs or to uproot its trees or to pick up its Luqat fallen things except by a person who will look for its owner announce it publicly. And if somebody is killed; then his closest relative has the right to choose one of the two- the blood money Diya or retaliation having the killer killed. In the meantime a man from Yemen came and said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! Get that written for me. The Prophet ﷺ ordered his companions to write that for him. Then a man from Quraish said; Except AlIdhkhir a type of grass that has good smell O Allah Messenger ﷺ ; as we use it in our houses and graves. The Prophet ﷺ praised Allah and then mentioned AlMasih AlDajjal and described him extensively; saying; Allah did not send any prophet but that prophet warned his nation of AlMasih AlDajjal. Noah and the prophets following him warned their people of him. He will appear amongst you O Muhammad followers ; and if it happens that some of his qualities may be hidden from you; but your Lord State is clear to you and not hidden from you. The Prophet ﷺ said it thrice. Verily; your Lord is not blind in one eye; while he i.e. AlDajjal is blind in the right eye which looks like a grape bulging out of its cluster. No doubt;! Allah has made your blood and your properties sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours; in this town of yours; in this month of yours. The Prophet ﷺ added: No doubt! Havent I conveyed Allah Message to you? They replied; Yes; The Prophet ﷺ said thrice; O Allah! Be witness for it. The Prophet ﷺ added; Woe to you! or said ; May Allah be merciful to you! SahihMuslim-017-001-18133 | It has been reported on the authority of Salama Bin Akwa who said: On the day of the Battle of Khaibar my brother fought a fierce fight by the side of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. His sword rebounded and killed him. The Companions of the Messenger of Allah may peace be upon hill talked about his death and doubted whether it was martyrdom. They said : He is a man killed by his own weapon; and expressed doubt about his affair. Salama said: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from Khaibar; I said: Messenger of Allah; permit me that I may recite to you some rajaz verses. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted him. Umar Bin AlKhattab said: I know what you will recite. I recited: By God; if God had guided us not; We would hive neither been guided aright nor practised charity; Nor offered prayers. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: What you have said is true; I continued : And descend on us peace and tranquillity And keep us steadfast if we encounter with our enemies And the polytheists have rebelled against us. When I finished my rajaz; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who composed these verses? I said: They were composed by my brother. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: May God show mercy to him! I said: By God; some people are reluctant to invoke God mercy on him because they say he is a man who died by his own sword. Hearing this the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He died as God devotee and warrior. Ibn Shihab has said: I asked one of the sons of Salama Bin Akwa about the death of Amir. He related to me a similar tradition except that he said: When I said some people were reluctant invoke God blessings on him; the Messenger of Allah may peace be; upon him said: They lied. SahihMuslim-017-001-18428 | It is narrated either on the authority of Abu Huraira or that of Abu Saeed Khudri. The narrator Amash has narrated this hadith with a little bit of doubt about the name of the very first narrator who was in direct contact with the Holy Prophet. He was either Abu Huraira or Abu Saeed Khudri. Both are equally reliable transmitters of the traditions. He the narrator said: During the time of Tabuk expedition; the provisions ran short and the men of the army suffered starvation; they said: Messenger of Allah; would you permit us to slay our camels? We would eat them and use their fat. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do as you please. He the narrator said: Then Umar came there and said: Messenger of Allah; if you do that if you give your consent and the men begin to slay their camels ; the riding animals would become short. But I would suggest you to summon them along with the provisions left with them Then invoke Allah blessings on them different items of the provisions It is hoped Allah shall bless them. The Messenger of Allah replied in the affirmative. the narrator said: He called for a leather mat to be used as a table cloth and spread it out. Then he called people along with the remaining portions of their provisions. He the narrator said: Someone was coming with handful of mote; another was coming with a handful of dates; still another was coming with a portion of bread; till small quantities of these things were collected on the table cloth. He the narrator said : Then the messenger of Allah invoked blessing on them and said: Fill your utensils with these provisions. He the narrator said: They filled their vessel to the brim with them; and no one amongst the army which comprised of 30;000 persons was left even with a single empty vessel. He the narrator aid: They ate to their fill; and there was still a surplus. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25828 | Yazid Bin Umairah; who was one of the companions of Muadh Bin Jabal said: Whenever he muadh Bin jabal sat in a meeting for preaching; he would say: Allah is a just arbiter; those who doubt would perish. One day Muadh Bin jabal said: In the times after you there would be trails in which riches would be abundant. During these trails the Quran would be easy so much so that every believer; hypocrite; man; woman; young; grown up; slave and free man will learn it. Then a man might say: What happened with the people that they do not follow me while I read the Quran? They are not going to follow me until I introduce a novelty for them other than it. So avoid that which is innovated in religion ; for whichever is innovated is an error. I warn you of the deviation of a scholar from right guidance; for sometimes Satan utters a word of error through the tongue of a scholar; and sometimes a hypocrites may speak a word of truth. I said to Muadh Bin jabal: I am at a loss to understand may Allah have mercy on you that a learned man sometimes may speak a word of error and a hypocrite may speak a word of truth. MuwataMalik-017-001-34783 | Malik said; The position with us about a woman who is found to be pregnant and has no husband and she says; I was forced; or she says; I was married; is that it is not accepted from her and the hadd is inflicted on her unless she has a clear proof of what she claims about the marriage or that she was forced or she comes bleeding if she was a virgin or she calls out for help so that someone comes to her and she is in that state or what resembles it of the situation in which the violation occurred. He said; If she does not produce any of those; the hadd is inflicted on her and what she claims of that is not accepted from her. MuwataMalik-017-001-35157 | Yahya related to me from Malik from Rabia Ibn Abi Abdulrahman from more than one of the people of knowledge of that time; that those who were killed on the Day of the Camel; the Day of Siffin; the Day of AlHarra; and the Day of Qudayd did not inherit from each other. None of them inherited anything from his companion unless it was known that he had been killed before his companion. Malik said; That is the way of doing things about which there is no dispute; and which none of the people of knowledge in our city doubt. The procedure with two mutual heirs who are drowned; or killed in another way; when it is not known which of them died first is the same - neither of them inherits anything from his companion. Their inheritance goes to whoever remains of their heirs. They are inherited from by the living. Malik said; No one should inherit from anyone else when there is doubt; and one should only inherit from the other when there is certainty of knowledge and witnesses. That is because a man and his mawla whom his father has freed might die at the same time. The sons of the free man could say; Our father inherited from the mawla. They should not inherit from the mawla without knowledge or testimony that he died first. The living people most entitled to his wala inherit from him. Malik said; Another example is two full brothers who die. One of them has children and the other does not. They have a half-brother by their father. It is not known which of them died first; so the inheritance of the childless one goes to his half-brother by the father. The children of the full-brother get nothing. Malik said; Another example is when a paternal aunt and the son of her brother die; or else the daughter of the brother and her paternal uncle. It is not known which of them died first. The paternal uncle does not inherit anything from the daughter of his brother; and the son of the brother does not inherit anything from his paternal aunt. | The Chapter on Inheritance And Half Brothers in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Hudud in Muwata Malik

He divorced her; and she got married in her idda-period. Umar Ibn AlKhattab beat her and her husband with a stick several times; and separated them. Then Umar Ibn AlKhattab said; If a woman marries in her idda-period; and the new husband has not consummated the marriage; then separate them; and when she has completed the idda of her first husband; the other becomes a suitor. If he has consummated the marriage then separate them. Then she must complete her idda from her first husband; and then the idda from the other one; and they are never to be reunited. Malik added; Said Ibn AlMusayab said that she had her dowry because he had consummated the marriage. Malik said; The practice with us concerning a free woman whose husband dies; is that she does an idda of four months and ten days and she does not marry if she doubts her period until she is free of any doubt or if she fears that she is pregnant. | The Chapter on Marriage And Entitlements in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Suckling in Muwata Malik |
