SahihAlBukhari-017-001-1081 | Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ﷺ said; Paradise and Hell Fire quarrelled in the presence of their Lord. Paradise said; O Lord! What is wrong with me that only the poor and humble people enter me ? Hell Fire said; I have been favored with the arrogant people. So Allah said to Paradise; You are My Mercy; and said to Hell; You are My Punishment which I inflict upon whom I wish; and I shall fill both of you. The Prophet added; As for Paradise; it will be filled with good people because Allah does not wrong any of His created things; and He creates for Hell Fire whomever He will; and they will be thrown into it; and it will say thrice; Is there any more; till Allah will put His Foot over it and it will become full and its sides will come close to each other and it will say; Qat! Have you anything to present to the Prophet ? She said; Yes. Then she took out a few loaves of barley bread and took a veil of hers and wrapped the bread with a part of it and sent me to Allah Messenger ﷺ. I went and found Allah Messenger ﷺ sitting in the Masjid with some people. I stood up before him. Allah Messenger ﷺ said to me; Has Abu Talha sent you? I said; Yes. Then Allah Messenger ﷺ said to those who were with him. Get up and proceed. I went ahead of them as their forerunner and came to Abu Talha and informed him about it. Abu Talha said; O Um Sulaim! Allah Messenger ﷺ has come and we have no food to feed them. Um Sulaim said; Allah and His Apostle know best. So Abu Talha went out to receive them till he met Allah Messenger ﷺ. Allah Messenger ﷺ came in company with Abu Talha and they entered the house. Allah Messenger ﷺ said; O Um Sulaim! Bring whatever you have. So she brought that barley bread and Allah Messenger ﷺ ordered that bread to be broken into small pieces; and then Um Sulaim poured over it some butter from a leather butter container; and then Allah Messenger ﷺ said what Allah wanted him to say; i.e. blessing the food. Allah Messenger ﷺ then said; Admit ten men. Abu Talha admitted them and they ate to their fill and went out. He again said; Admit ten men. He admitted them; and in this way all the people ate to their fill; and they were seventy or eighty men. | The Chapter on Wishes And Admittance in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on If someone takes an oath that he will not eat Udm in Sahih AlBukhari
SahihAlBukhari-017-001-2153 | Narrated Abu Huraira: By Allah except Whom none has the right to- be worshipped; sometimes I used to lay sleep on the ground on my liver abdomen because of hunger; and sometimes I used to bind a stone over my belly because of hunger. One day I sat by the way from where they the Prophet ﷺ and h is companions used to come out. When Abu Bakr passed by; I asked him about a Verse from Allah Book and I asked him only that he might satisfy my hunger; but he passed by and did not do so. Then Umar passed by me and I asked him about a Verse from Allah Book; and I asked him only that he might satisfy my hunger; but he passed by without doing so. Finally Abu AlQasim the Prophet ﷺ passed by me and he smiled when he saw me; for he knew what was in my heart and on my face. He said; O Aba Hirr Abu Huraira ! I replied; Labbaik; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said to me; Follow me. He left and I followed him. Then he entered the house and I asked permission to enter and was admitted. He found milk in a bowl and said; From where is this milk? They said; It has been presented to you by such-and-such man or by such and such woman. He said; O Aba Hirr! I said; Labbaik; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said; Go and call the people of Suffa to me. These people of Suffa were the guests of Islam who had no families; nor money; nor anybody to depend upon; and whenever an object of charity was brought to the Prophet ﷺ ; he would send it to them and would not take anything from it; and whenever any present was given to him; he used to send some for them and take some of it for himself. The order off the Prophet upset me; and I said to myself; How will this little milk be enough for the people of AlSuffa? thought I was more entitled to drink from that milk in order to strengthen myself; but behold! The Prophet ﷺ came to order me to give that milk to them. I wondered what will remain of that milk for me; but anyway; I could not but obey Allah and His Apostle so I went to the people of AlSuffa and called them; and they came and asked the Prophet permission to enter. They were admitted and took their seats in the house. The Prophet ﷺ said; O Aba Hirr! I said; Labbaik; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said; Take it and give it to them. So I took the bowl of Milk and started giving it to one man who would drink his fill and return it to me; whereupon I would give it to another man who; in his turn; would drink his fill and return it to me; and I would then offer it to another man who would drink his fill and return it to me. Finally; after the whole group had drunk their fill; I reached the Prophet ﷺ who took the bowl and put it on his hand; looked at me and smiled and said. O Aba Hirr! I replied; Labbaik; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said; There remain you and I. I said; You have said the truth; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! He said; Sit down and drink. I sat down and drank. He said; Drink; and I drank. He kept on telling me repeatedly to drink; till I said; No. by Allah Who sent you with the Truth; I have no space for it in my stomach. He said; Hand it over to me. When I gave him the bowl; he praised Allah and pronounced Allah Name on it and drank the remaining milk. | The Chapter on Boiling Drinks in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on How the Prophet and his Companions used to live in Sahih AlBukhari

She said; O Allah Messenger ﷺ ! You know the position of Haritha in my heart i.e. how dear to me he was ; so if he is in Paradise; I will not weep for him; or otherwise; you will see what I will do. The Prophet ﷺ said; Are you mad? Is there only one Paradise? There are many Paradises; and he is in the highest Paradise of Firdaus. The Prophet added; A forenoon journey or an after noon journey in Allah Cause is better than the whole world and whatever is in it; and a place equal to an arrow bow of anyone of you; or a place equal to a foot in Paradise is better than the whole world and whatever is in it; and if one of the women of Paradise looked at the earth; she would fill the whole space between them the earth and the heaven with light; and would fill whatever is in between them; with perfume; and the veil of her face is better than the whole world and whatever is in it. | The Chapter on Journeys And Travel And Camels in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The description of Paradise and the Fire in Sahih AlBukhari

Then the Prophet ﷺ entered his house without telling his companions who they the 70;000 were. SahihMuslim-017-001-18428 | It is narrated either on the authority of Abu Huraira or that of Abu Saeed Khudri. He was either Abu Huraira or Abu Saeed Khudri. Both are equally reliable transmitters of the traditions. He the narrator said: During the time of Tabuk expedition; the provisions ran short and the men of the army suffered starvation; they said: Messenger of Allah; would you permit us to slay our camels? We would eat them and use their fat. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do as you please. He the narrator said: Then Umar came there and said: Messenger of Allah; if you do that if you give your consent and the men begin to slay their camels ; the riding animals would become short. But I would suggest you to summon them along with the provisions left with them Then invoke Allah blessings on them different items of the provisions It is hoped Allah shall bless them. And By Allah; the One Whom there is none worthy of worship besides Him I would lay on the ground on my liver side due to hunger; And I would fasten a stone to my stomach out of hunger. One day I sat by the way that they the Companions use to come out through. Abu Bakr passed and so I asked him about an Ayah from Allah Book; not asking him except that he might tell me to follow him for something to eat. But he passed on without doing so. Then Umar passed; so I asked him about an Ayah from Allah Book; not asking him except that he might tell me to follow him. But he passed on without doing so. Then Ab AlQasim s.a.w passed; and he smiled when he saw me; and said: Abu Huraira? I said: I am here O Messenger of Allah! He said: Come along. He continued and I followed him; he entered his house; so I sought permission to enter; and he permitted me. He found a bowl of milk and said: Where did this milk come from? It was said: It was a gift to us from so and so. So the Messenger of Allah s.a.w said: O Abu Huraira I said: I am here O Messenger of Allah! He said: Go to the people of AlSuffah to invite them. - Now; they were the guests of the people of Islam; they had nothing of people nor wealth to rely upon. Whenever some charity was brought to him; he would send it to them without using any of it. And when a gift was given to him s.a.w ; he would send for them to participate and share with him in it. I became upset about that; and I said to myself : What good will this bowl be among the people of AlSuffah and I am the one bringing it to them? Then he ordered me to circulate it among them So I wondered what of it would reach me from it; and I hoped that I would get from it what would satisfy me. But I would certainly not neglect to obey Allah and obey His Messenger; so I went to them and invited them. When they entered upon him they sat down. He said: Abu Huraira; take the bowl and give it to them. So I gave it to a man who drank his fill; then he gave it to another one; until it ended up with the Messenger of Allah s.a.w ; and all of the people had drank their fill. The Messenger of Allah s.a.w took the bowl; put it on his hand;then raised his head. He smiled and said: Abu Huraira; drink. So I drank; then he said: Drink. I kept drinking and he kept on saying; Drink. Then I said: By the One Who sent you with the truth! I have no more space for it. So he took the bowl and praised Allah; mentioned His Name and drank.
