SahihAlBukhari-017-001-4080 | Narrated AlZuhri: Urwa Bin AlZubair said that he asked Aisha about the meaning of the Quranic Verse:- And if you fear that you will not deal fairly with the orphan girls then marry other women of your choice. 4.2-3 Aisha said; It is about a female orphan under the guardianship of her guardian who is inclined towards her because of her beauty and wealth; and likes to marry her with a Mahr less than what is given to women of her standard. So they i.e. guardians were forbidden to marry the orphans unless they paid them a full appropriate Mahr otherwise they were ordered to marry other women instead of them. Later on the people asked Allah Messenger ﷺ about it. So Allah revealed the following Verse:- They ask your instruction O Muhammad! regarding women. Say: Allah instructs you regarding them... 4.127 and in this Verse Allah indicated that if the orphan girl was beautiful and wealthy; her guardian would have the desire to marry her without giving her an appropriate Mahr equal to what her peers could get; but if she was undesirable for lack of beauty or wealth; then he would not marry her; but seek to marry some other woman instead of her. So; since he did not marry her when he had no inclination towards her; he had not the right to marry her when he had an interest in her; unless he treated her justly by giving her a full Mahr and securing all her rights. | The Chapter on Contracts And Disputes And Orphans in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on The Statement of Allah Taala And if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphangirls in Sahih AlBukhari |

SahihMuslim-017-001-20576 | Abu Huraira reported Allah Messenger ﷺ having said this: Two are the types of the denizens of Hell whom I did not see: people having flogs like the tails of the ox with them and they would be beating people; and the women who would be dressed but appear to be naked; who would be inclined to evil and make their husbands incline towards it. Their heads would be like the humps of the bukht camel inclined to one side. They will not enter Paradise and they would not smell its odour whereas its odour would be smelt from such and such distance. | The Chapter on Parents And Weeping in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on 34 in Sahih Muslim

SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25083 | Abd AlHamid Ibn Jafar reported from his father on the authority of his grandfather Rafi Ibn Sinan that he Rafi Ibn Sinan embraced Islam and his wife refused to embrace Islam. She came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: My daughter; she is weaned or about to wean. Rafi said: My daughter. The Prophet ﷺ said to him: Be seated on a side. And he said to her: Be seated on a side. He then seated the girl between them; and said to them: Call her. The girl inclined to her mother. The Prophet ﷺ said: O Allah! guide her. The daughter then inclined to her father; and he took her. | The Chapter on Pre-Islam And Jews in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on If One Of The Parents Accepts Islam Who Is The Child Given To in Sunan Abu Dawoud
SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25911 | Ali said: We attended a funeral at Baql AlGharqad which was also attended by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and sat down. He had a stick in his hand by which he began to scratch up the ground. He then raised his head and said : The place which every one of you and every soul of you will occupy in Hell or in Paradise has been recorded; and destined wicked or blesses. A man from among the people asked : Prophet of Allah! Should we not then trust simply in what has been recorded for us and abandon doing good deeds? Those who are among the number of the blessed will be inclined to blessing; and those of us who are among the number of the wicked will be inclined to wickedness. He replied : Go on doing good actions; for everyone is helped to do that for which he was created. Those who are among the number of wicked will be helped to do wicked deeds. The Prophet of Allah ﷺ then recited: So he who gives in charity and fears Allah ; and in all sincerity testifies to the best; we will indeed make smooth for him the path to bliss. But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient; and gives the lie to the best; We will indeed make smooth for him the path of misery. | The Chapter on Angeles And Good Deeds And Destiny in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on Belief In Divine Decree in Sunan Abu Dawoud |

MuwataMalik-017-001-35306 | Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; Do not ask for a woman in marriage when another muslim has already done so. Malik said; The explanation of the statement of the Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; according to what we think - and Allah knows best - is that Do not ask for a woman in marriage when another muslim has already done so means that when a man has asked for a woman in marriage; and she has inclined to him and they have agreed on a bride-price; which she has suggested and with which they are mutually satisfied; it is forbidden for another man to ask for that woman in marriage. It does not mean that when a man has asked for a woman in marriage; and his suit does not agree with her and she does not incline to him that no one else can ask for her in marriage. That is a door to misery for people. | The Chapter on Idolaters And Infidels And The Jews in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Slaughtering Animals in Muwata Malik |
