And he asked Allah for a dominion that no one after him would have; and he was given that. And when he finished building the Masjid he asked Allah; the Mighty and Sublime; that no one should come to it; intending only to pray there; but he would emerge free of sin as the day his mother bore him. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-26641		Abu Huraira and Zaid Bin Khalid AlJuhani said: Two men brought a dispute before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. One of them said: Pronounce judgement between us in accordance with Allahs Book; Messenger of Allah! The other who had more understanding said: Yes; Messenger of Allah! Pronounce judgement between us in accordance with Allahs Book; and allow me to speak. He the Prophet said: Speak; He then said: My son who was a hired servant with this man committed fornication with his wife; and when I was told that my son must be stoned to death; I ransomed him with a hundred sheep and a slave girl of mine; but when I asked the learned; they told me that my son should receive a hundred lashes and be banished for a year; and that stoning to death applied only to mans wife. The apostle of Allah ﷺ replied: By him in whose hand my soul is; I shall certainly pronounce judgment between you in accordance with Allahs Book. Your sheep and your slave girl must be returned to you; and your son shall receive a hundred lashes and be banished for a year. And he commanded Unias AlAslami go to that mans wife; and if she confessed; he should stone her to death. She confessed and he stoned her. The one against whom the judgement was given said; Why should I pay damages for that which did not drink or eat or speak or make any cry. The like of that is nothing. The Messenger of Allah; may Allah bless him and grant him peace; said; This is only one of the brothers of the diviners. He disapproved of the rhyming speech of the man declaration. MuwataMalik-017-001-34862		Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya Ibn Said heard Said Ibn AlMusayab say; Umar Ibn AlKhattab decided on a camel for each molar; and Muawiya Ibn Abi Sufyan decided on five camels for each molar. Said Ibn AlMusayab said; The blood-money is less in the judgement of Umar Ibn AlKhattab and more in the judgement of Muawiya. Had it been me; I would have made it two camels for each molar.
