SahihMuslim-017-001-17724 | It has been reported on the authority of Abu Humaid AlSaidi who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed a man from the Azd tribe. called Ibn Al; Utbiya; in charge of Sadaqat to be received from Banu Sulaim. When he came back ; the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him to render his account. He said: This wealth is for you i. e. for the public treasury and this is a gift presented to me. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: You should have remained in the house of your father and your mother; until your gift came to you if you spoke the truth; then he addressed us. He praised God and extolled Him; and afterwards said: I appoint a man from you to a responsible post sharing with the authority that God has entrusted to me; and he comes to me saying: This wealth is for you i. e. for the public treasury and this is a gift presented to me. Why did he not remain in the house of his father and his mother and his gift came to him; if he was truthful? By God; any one of you will not take anything from the public funds without any justification; but will meet his Lord carrying it on himself on the Day of judgment. I will recognise any one of you meeting Allah and carrying a growling camel; or a cow bellowing or a goat bleating. Then he raised his hands so high that whiteness of his armpits could be seen. SahihMuslim-017-001-18088 | It has been narrated on the authority of Abdullah Bin Rabah who said: We came to Muawiya Bin Abu Sufyan as a deputation and Abu Huraira was among us. Each of us would prepare food for his companions turn by turn for a day. Accordingly when it was my turn I said: Abu Huraira; it is my turn today. So they came to my place. The food was not yet ready; so I said to Abu Huraira: I wish you could narrate to us a tradition from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until the food was ready. Complying with my request Abu Huraira said: We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of the Conquest of Mecca. He appointed Khalid Bin Walid as commander of the right flank; AlZubair as commander of the left flank; and Abu Ubaida as commander of the foot-soldiers who were to advance to the interior of the valley. He then said: Abu Huraira; call the Ansar to me. So I called out to them and they came hurriedly. He said: O ye Assembly of the Ansaar; do you see the ruffians of the Quraish? They said: Yes. He said: See; when you meet them tomorrow; wipe them out. He hinted at this with his hand; placing his right hand on his left and said: You will meet us at AlSafa. Abu Huraira continued : Whoever was seen by them that day was put to death. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascended the mount of AlSafa. The Ansar also came there and surrounded the mount. Then came Abu Sufyan and said: Messenger ot Allah; the Quraish have perished. No member of the Quraish tribe will survive this day. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Who enters the house of Abu Safyin will be safe; who lays down arms will be safe; who locks his door will be safe. some of the Ansar said: After all the man has been swayed by tenderness towards his family and love for his city. At this; Divine inspiration descended upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: You were saying that the man has been swayed by tenderness towards his family and love for his city. Do you know what my name is? I am Muhammad; the bondman of God and His Messenger. He repeated this thrice. I left my native place for the take of Allah and joined you. So I will live with you and die with you. Now the Ansar said: By God; we said that only out of our greed for Allah and His Messenger. SahihMuslim-017-001-18436 | It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira: We were sitting around the Messenger of Allah may peace and blessings be upon him. Abu Bakr and Umar were also there among the audience. In the meanwhile the Messenger of Allah got up and left us; He delayed in coming back to us; which caused anxiety that he might be attacked by some enemy when we were not with him; so being alarmed we got up. I was the first to be alarmed. I; therefore; went out to look for the Messenger of Allah may peace and blessings be upon him and came to a garden belonging to the Banu AlNajjar; a section of the Ansar went round it looking for a gate but failed to find one. Seeing a rabi i. e. streamlet flowing into the garden from a well outside; drew myself together; like a fox; and slinked into the place where God Messenger was. He the Holy Prophet said: Is it Abu Huraira? I Abu Huraira replied: Yes; Messenger of Allah. He the Holy Prophet said: What is the matter with you? replied: You were amongst us but got up and went away and delayed for a time; so fearing that you might be attacked by some enemy when we were not with you; we became alarmed. I was the first to be alarmed. So when I came to this garden; I drew myself together as a fox does; and these people are following me. He addressed me as Abu Huraira and gave me his sandals and said: Take away these sandals of mine; and when you meet anyone outside this garden who testifies that there is no god but Allah; being assured of it in his heart; gladden him by announcing that he shall go to Paradise. Now the first one I met was Umar. He asked: What are these sandals; Abu Huraira? I replied: These are the sandals of the Messenger of Allah with which he has sent me to gladden anyone I meet who testifies that there is no god but Allah; being assured of it in his heart; with the announcement that he would go to Paradise. Thereupon Umar struck me on the breast and I fell on my back. He then said: Go back; Abu Huraira; So I returned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; and was about to break into tears. Umar followed me closely and there he was behind me. The Messenger of Allah may peace and blessings be on him said: What is the matter with you; Abu Huraira? I said: I happened to meet Umar and conveyed to him the message with which you sent me. He struck me on my breast which made me fall down upon my back and ordered me to go back. Upon this the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: What prompted you to do this; Umar? He said: Messenger of Allah; my mother and father be sacrificed to thee; did you send Abu Huraira with your sandals to gladden anyone he met and who testified that there is no god but Allah; and being assured of it in his heart; with the tidings that he would go to Paradise? He said: Yes. Umar said: Please do it not; for I am afraid that people will trust in it alone; let them go on doing good deeds. So Abu Bakr said: Rather we will ransom our fathers and wealth for you.; So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There is no one among people more beneficial to us Amanna Ilaina in his companionship; or generous with his wealth than Ibn Abi Quhafah. And; if I were to take a Khalil; I would have taken Ibn Abi Quhafah as a Khalil. But rather love and the brotherhood of faith - saying that two or three times - Indeed your companion is the Khalil of Allah. | The Chapter on Gifts And Wealth in HodHood Indexing, The Book of Chapters on Virtues in Sunan AlTermithi

He said: O Messenger of Allah; what is it with us and the Quraish; whenever they meet one another it is with glad faces; and when they meet us they meet us with other than that? He said: So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ became angry; until his face reddened; then he said: By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! Faith does not enter a man heart until he loves you for the sake of Allah; and for the sake of His Messenger. Then he said: O people! Whoever harms my uncle; he has harmed me; for indeed; a man uncle is not but the Sinw two or three palm trees will come from a single root; so each is called a Sinw. SunanAlTermithi-017-001-9610 | Abu Huraira narrated : The Prophet ﷺ went out during an hour in which he would normally not go out; nor meet with anyone. Then Abu Bakr came to him. So he said:What brought you O Abu Bakr? He said: I came to meet the Messenger of Allah s.a.w and to look at his face; and to make sure he was safe. It was not long before Umar came. He said: What has brought you O Umar ? He said: Hunger O Messenger of Allah! He said: I also experienced some of that So they went to the home of Abu AlHaitham AlTaiyihan AlAnsari. He was a man with many date-palms and sheep; but he had no servants so they did not find him there. They said to his wife: Where is your companion? She said: He has gone to fetch us some good water. It was not long before Abu AlHaitham came along hauling to a large water-skin which he put down. Then he came to hug the Prophet ﷺ and uttered that his father and mother should be ransomed for him. Then he went to grove of his and he spread out a mat for them. Then he went to a date-palm and returned with a cluster of dates which he put down. The prophet s.a.w said: Why dont you select some ripe dates for us? He said: O Messenger of Allah s.a.w ! I wanted you to select from the ripe dates and the unripe dates. So they ate and they drank from that water. The Messenger of Allah s.a.w said: By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! This is among the favors which you shall be asked about on the Day Of Judgment. Cool shade; tasty ripe dates; and cool water. Abu AlHaitham left to prepare some food for them. The Prophet ﷺ said: Do not slaughter one with milk. So he Slaughtered a small female or male goat and brought it to them so they could eat it. The Prophet ﷺ said: Do you have any servants? He said: No. So he said: Then if we get some captives we shall bring them for you. So later the Prophet ﷺ came with 2 males; there was no third among them and he brought them to Abu AlHaitham. The Prophet ﷺ said: Choose from them. He said: O Prophet of Allah! Choose for me. So the Prophet ﷺ said: Indeed the one consulted is entrusted. Take this one for I have seen him praying; and encourage him to do well. So Abu AlHaitham went to his wife and informed her of what the Messenger of Allah s.a.w said. So his wife said: You will not fulfill what the Prophet ﷺ said until you have freed him. So he said: He is free. So the Prophet ﷺ said: Indeed Allah has not send a Prophet nor made a Khalifah except that he has two groups of supporters; group ordering him to do good; and prohibiting him from evil and a group that never ceases spoiling his affairs. So whoever protected. | The Chapter on Food And Sheeps in HodHood Indexing, Chapter on What Has Been Related About The Subsistence Of The Companions Of The Prophet saw And His Family in Sunan AlTermithi

Then I met Abu Barzah on the day of Id; with a number of his companions. I said to him: Did you hear the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL mention the Khawarij? He said: Yes. I heard the Messenger of Allah SAWSYMOBOL with my own ears; and saw him with my own eyes. Then a man stood behind him and said: O Muhammad! You have not been just in your division! He was a man with black patchy shaved hair; wearing two white garments. So Allah Messenger SAWSYMOBOL became very angry and said: By Allah! You will not find a man after me who is more just than me. Then he said: A people will come at the end of time; as if he is one of them; reciting the Quran without it passing beyond their throats. SunanAbuDawoud-017-001-25912 | Yahya Bin Yamur said : The first to speak on Divine decree in AlBasrah was Mabad AlJuhani. I and Humaid Bin Abdulrahman AlHimyari proceeded to perform Hajj or Umrah. We said : would that we meet any of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ so that we could ask him about what they say with regard to divine decree. So Allah helped us to meet Abdullah Bin Umar who was entering the Masjid. So I and my companion surrounded him; and I thought that my companion would entrust me the task of speaking to him. Then I said : Abu Abdulrahman there appeared on our side some people who recite the Quran and are engaged in the hair-splitting of knowledge. They conceive that there is no Divine decree and everything happens freely without predestination. He said : When you meet those people; tell them that I am free from them; and they are free from me. By Him by Whom swears Abdullah Bin Umar; if one of them has gold equivalent to Uhud and he spends it; Allah will not accept it from him until he believes in Divine decree. He then said : Umar Bin AlKhattab transmitted to me a tradition; saying : One day when we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a man with very white clothing and very black hair came up to us. No mark of travel was visible on him; and we did not recognize him. Sitting down beside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ; leaning his knees against his and placing his hands on his thighs; he said : tell me; Muhammad; about Islam. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said : Islam means that you should testify that there is no god but Allah; and Muhammad is Allahs Apostle; that you should observe prayer; pay Zakat; fast during Ramadan; and perform Hajj to the house i.e.; Kabah ; If you have the means to go. He said : You have spoken the truth. We were surprised at his questioning him and then declaring that he spoke the truth. He said : Now tell me about faith. He replied : It means that you should believe in Allah; his angels; his Books; his Apostles and the last day; and that you should believe in the decreeing both of good and evil. He said : You have spoken the truth. He said : now tell me about doing good ihsan. He replied: It means that you should worship Allah as though you are seeing him; if you are not seeing him; he is seeing you. He said: Now tell me about the hour. He replied : The one who is asked about it is no better informed than the one who is asking. He said : Then tell me about its signs. He replied : That a maidservant should beget her mistress; and that you should see barefooted; naked; poor men and shepherds exalting themselves in buildings. Umar said : He then went away; and I waited for three days; then he said : Do you know who the questioner was; Umar? I replied : Allah and his Apostle know best.
